  Hidden text is the collection of glyphs in the PDF page using the text rendering mode 3 (no terms, no fill).

  The links set up in connection with this hidden text are not 'hidden' (this isn't how it works with annotations PDF link - see ISO 32000-1: 2008).

  Any link annotation placed in a PDF file are the same as any other annotation link (with the exception, of course, of whatever Action the link happens to).

  Thus, no special sauce for the links that were placed in conjunction with now deleted "no hidden text.

  In the context of what you wrote, maybe it's you select - Ctrl + click the link annotations of interest and press the delete key.

• How to remove the hidden link?

  I am quite experienced with Muse, but this question left me speechless. I looked at the external links from my site and realized that there is one in the footer from jeremytech.com. So I checked and it seems that it's more than just the link, but the titles as well.

  

  But I don't see such a link in Muse...

  

  Any ideas why this happens? Maybe because I used something that makes this guy and he left little remaining code that muse doesn't have access to?

  It almost seems that I copied a footer he did and it changed a little bit, and granted, it's been a while since I've done this, but I remember this creation from scratch. I used another code of people to help me get work social icons, but that's all.

  What is a text box for "contact"? If Yes, then try following

  1. Select the text box.

  2. double click on it to switch to the text editing mode

  3. Select all of the text and search a panel of hyperlink on the toolbar.

  4. If you see the url you want to get rid of remove it by clicking the X button as shown in the screenshot below.

  

  In case you do not see a link for all of the text and then try to select each character and keep an eye on the hyperlink table.

  I am facing a problem when I run my application module and open a view that uses a hidden (UI tips / display) bind variable (see the error below).

  There is no error if I change this binding variable to display.

  Looks like a bug to me. I checked this behavior. I'll log a bug with ADFFEMG for this. If you need this feature, you must open a SR with support.oracle.com that the ADFEMG guarantee if or when a bug is fixed.

• Missing links after a Malware attack

  XP Pro, IE8, OE6

  My old father-in-law of 94 is suspected of by clicking on a link in an email from "Solutions from PC" he received as bait the reader with 'If you can't read this email, click here', followed by the Pandemonium, then ends by "we can fix your computer for $79, just click here.  Fortunately, it has not executed this last step ($$). It won't just admit it. In any case...

  MSE has completely failed me. I've since returned to Malwarebytes online malware protection. So to make a long story short... the office photo disappeared (only in blue BSOD), programs in the start folder Menu was completely empty (but because the programs were all still there in Program Files), administration tools and accessories were empty and the system restore didn't work. The malware "System Check" was bad. Malwarebytes would not work. I scanned with MSE and cleaned up the bad guys (AFTER infection :-(), deleted and reinstalled Malwarebytes and it ran, but the damage was done. I ran SDFix and it was clean and then displayed. Bringing more hidden links, but not all. System Restore worked now but I had to fire through the window RUN (no links anywhere). But the old restore files have apparently been corrupted and none would complement a restore (get about 1/2 way on the progress bar, then quickly complete 100% restart and then "unable to finish restoration".  Internet has never stopped working, if it's not the kicker. First time I had seen that happen with a coup of malware. Usually, at least a proxy is checked, if not a winsock problem.

  Everything works now, but I'm missing a bunch of links again and I was wondering how to recover them, short of a repair installation. Adminstrative Tools is empty, both record programs and in the control panel. Many start/program Menu folders are still empty, entertainment is empty, Sytem Tools contains only the IE link (no add-on), and root C contains three records of recycler (recycler, recycle (2) and Recyler (3).) I don't know what these are, but they each contain a couple of folders that contain application files names you see in the registry as "S23984q32098u3948234" - I made this one.

  Could / should I copy the links from my computer (both XP Pro) and hope this works if their paths are the same? Are there certain keys regsitry that I need to change/remove?

• Helps to remove a Hypertext/mailto link that I can't find.

  I have a PDF of several page I added a form. When I get to the fourth page the hand becomes a pointer and if I click anywhere on the page it opens an e-mail addressed to: '2; @;. 3078.:UVW ". I can't find a hyperlink anywhere in the document. Is there a way to view all hyperlinks in the document or a way of linerize the objects so I can find and remove the hidden link? How can I fix it? It happens randomly, and the mailto value changes, but is always a random set of letters and numbers.

  I think that Acrobat incorrectly identify an e-mail address and adding a link to it.

  You can try to disable it by unchecking the following parameter: Edition - Preferences - general - create links from URLs

• Video link continuously to play inside PDF

  I'm not having any success by placing a .mp4 streaming video link in Acrobat X Pro which will play (not embedded) inside the PDF file. My client gave me some links and the field of the video tool accepts it, but nothing plays. I can download and incorporate the actual file to my desktop fine. Be a designer feel long, this is my first attempt to create an ebook with video from an existing print project - so I have little understanding of formats, the server behavior and others.   The http link works in theory, but you're not continuous, it is there forever while you download the file before starting playback (and I suspect that the http server is the limitation of the data).

  With the FMS stream you're almost there but you hit a bug in the released version of the video player, as well as the very obscure widget way write us addresses Adobe Flash Media Server.

  First, pick up a copy of our free update of the widgetand follow the instructions to change the default swf file.

  Now that enter in the URL field when you create a new video annotation in Acrobat format:

  RTMP://yourserver. URL/FolderName/MP4:ebooks/gedc__000122.MP4

  The extra "mp4:" is called an instance name and is required if the installation of FMS did not turn on support virtual folder - that didn't you.

• Techniques to eliminate the space allocated to the hidden text?

  Is there a way to eliminate the space reserved for text that has CSS positioning equal to hidden, size of the police of zero and zero line height.

  The text is a placeholder for a future binding.  I wish I could have all the coded navigation and then simply remove the attribute "hidden".

  Well, here are a few tips to navigate in this forum...

  (1) If a person offers a suggestion, answer like "Yes, it worked" or "no, it didn't work," then explain how it did not work if possible (you have an error message?, unexpected results, etc.)

  (2) even if a solution maybe not exact, if you helped to give you a new insight or if someone has taken the time to develop a response that helps you understand your problem beter, you can and should provide "useful" points

  (4) finally close the message itself.

  This would encourage others to help you in the future when you ask your question. (It is possible to "Watch" a user and never answer their question once again, if the poster is rude or ungrateful.)

  My final advice is Kishore is among the largest AIDS in this forum, my recommendation would be not not to the flame of his comments (even slightly) because it is he who will decide whether he will help you again.   It has been more than a week, and we are always unanle to find our podcast via the 'search' or the provided URL.

  How can we solve this? When can we expect our podcast on iTunes?

  There is currently a bug in the store where your podcast can start life as 'hidden '. Connect to http://podcastsconnect.apple.com , select your podcast and click on the "hidden" link to view it. It may take a few hours to appear.

• Puzzled is Podcast on the Store...

  Hello guys...

  A beginner full here which is in no way up to do this kind of thing. A few friends and I did a Podcast of horse racing that we present via Soundcloud as a few calls so that he could go on the iTunes Store, so I did my best so but to without success so far. I submitted it and received an e-mail saying: it has been accepted, but after about 4 days it does still not show on the Store.

  I used Feedburner that seems properly configured and it appears in my Podcasts on my iTunes account. If I need to post links or information, you may be able to talk a bit about plain language for me that I'm entirely self-taught.

  If they gave you a store page URL and the podcast is not there, go to http://podcastsconnect.apple.com and make sure it is not set to 'hidden' (link below on the right) - there has been problems with preparing it by accident on the new podcasts.

• Pages stopped my break.

  Pages suddenly stopped my break no matter how check the settings. This happened after having a cleaning with MacCleaner. I think that something like a dictionary of hidden link has been removed. Does this sound feasible? If so, how can I restore it?

  I understand that the automatic hyphenation does more work with Pages.  I would like to start by making sure that the box "Remove hyphenation in the paragraph" is not checked.  You can find this setting through the steps described in the guide below.

  Add or remove hyphens for specific paragraphs

  1. Click in the paragraph or select several paragraphs.

  2. Click the button above the sidebar on the right.

     If you do not see a sidebar or sidebar is not a button, click on in the toolbar. If the text is in a text box, table or a form, first click the text at the top of the sidebar, then click more.

  3. In section hyphenation & Ligatures of the sidebar, check or uncheck the box "remove hyphenation for paragraph."

  The paragraphs you modified does not change if you later change the setting of the hyphenation for the entire document (see the previous task).

• programs are not not in the start icon

  When I click on the start icon in the taskbar, all programs have dissappered, they are still in the add and remove the though.how section make their return to the start icon in this list. all programs are gone.how did it happen? What is fix? When I restore from an earlier date, it does not restore the list of programs.

  It is likely that a piece of malware hidden links used by the start menu.

  Try to bring up a command prompt window (Windows key + 'R' and then type "cmd") and then enter the following command:

  attrib s h "c:\documents and settings\all Users\Menu Menu\Programs\ * ' / s

  This should display all these files if they are hidden.

• Can not unlock the files in Documents & Settings folder on can I 7

  Windows 7 won't let me edit the security permissions in the folder Documents & settings even with admin privileges, so I can open it with the file.  Any action that I am trying just reminds me of the change owner screen that says I don't have permission to view the access settings.  Never can get to the window to actually change the permissions.  I just did a clean reinstall of the system because of a problem.  Access permissions were no problem until I did the re-install.

  You're not locked: this file does not actually exist in Windows 7.  But backward compatibility to old programs that look for this name, they put a redirect (called a symbolic link) in place.  So, it looks like a folder, but it is not really a record at all.

  Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\Jerry

  Windows Vista forward: C:\Users\Jerry

  They were replaced by a smaller folder 'Users' of a single word, but apart from the name change, it's the same folder.  Again once the 'Documents and Settings' you see is not really a file, it's just a redirect of compatibility so old programs that await the long name will not crash when used on Windows Vista/7 from.

  PS. You should not even SEE this redirect normally link, it shows that if you go to Folder Options and turn on the 'display protected system files and folders' and 'display the hidden files and folders '.  That is why the link is kind of ghost and gray, because it is a hidden link junction, not a real folder.

• Attach the debugger for new Simulator

  I can't find all the resources to set up the debugger Eclipse pointing a BB Simulator that was not included with the component packs.  I need the ability to set breakpoints and see the values of variables on a specific Simulator my code behaves poorly on. (more precisely, my application cannot establish a network connection on the 5.0.0.604 operating system simulator, but the code works fine on the 5.0.0 Simulator that comes with the component pack)

  I spent 6 hours now googling and be linked in circles around the BB forums, but I can't find anything that actually lists how to connect the debugger to another Simulator.  Please help me!  :-(

  So, if anyone has a hidden link that they can share, I would REALLY appreciate it.

  Check if the working directory is set correctly for this Simulator: ("Advanced" tab).

  The .debug files will be generated when you compile the application. You could you alterntativly copy them manually in the Simulator next to COD to activate your breakpoints.
