  I just updated my Z2 to 5.0.2 and the lockscreen does not display anything when I receive notifications (emails, textmessages, etc.), nor I see any icon in the status bar except if I unlock the phone.

  I have a lockscreen with pin code, imposed by the rules of the company where I work when using email on the phone, but I expect notifications to always work.

  I checked the settings, and tried their definition to hide sensitive information and view all under Notification settings when the device is locked.

  I understand that you are more alert audio audition for Gmail or Outlook on your iPhone. I know it's nice to be updated to new alerts without having to see your iPhone, so I'm happy to help you.

  To begin, check that you can hear other sounds on your iPhone and alerts. This article contains information on how to check that:

  If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch speaker - Apple Support
  

  1. Go to settings > sounds and drag the slider to Ringer and alerts to increase the volume.
  2. If you hear the sound from the speaker, follow the rest of these steps. If you hear no sound from speaker, contact Apple technical support.
  3. If your device has a ring/silent switch, make sure it's set to ring. (If you see orange, your device is configured for silent).
     
  4. Restart your device.
  5. Open an application that has the music or sound effects. Adjust the volume with the volume buttons or the slider in theControl Center.
  6. Go to settings > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth off. Then, check the sound back.
  7. Plug in a headset. If you can hear the sound in the headphones, remove it, then clear any dust or debris from making headphones to your device.
  8. If your device is in a case, make sure that the case does not block the speaker.
  9. Use a brush to gently clear all debris from the enclosure and lightning connector (or 30 dock connector pin). The brush should have soft, clean and dry hair.
  10. Update your device to the latest version of iOS.

  I really need an email. And don't give me a link to the Skype Web site * beep * I can't find any help there, need me just a site that does not exist. • New message notifications does not disappear automatically

  Hello, everyone.

  I've had Skype for about two years now. Since I got it, it was convenient that the new message notification seems to go away when I look at the Skype window.

  Well, this is more the case.

  The new message notice persists, but it isn't permanent, fortunately. It goes away after I have send a new message to the group, or until I manually "mark as read".

  It's not a big deal, but it is rather annoying that it does not have its own more. I already tried to restart Skype and that does not seem to solve the problem.

  Suggestions?

• Icons in the taskbar Windows 7 (notifications) does not not at the start. [SOLVED]

  Question: It started a few days ago, I'm not sure what has changed (no updates to anything und do not clean my comp so far here). When starting, but not load my system tray icons/notice. There is a select statement 3 charge that are supposed to, but there should be more (like volume, wifi, (I have disabled power), etc.) There is 1 which is not supposed to because it is hidden completely.

  1 who is responsible (not not supposed to):

  ~ Synaptics Pointing Device (touchpad for laptop, I have the touchpad disabled permanently, so I completely hidden icon (no notifications).

  Icons that are supposed to load:

  Shown (visible in the status bar)

  ~ Intelligent ram (advanced care system)

  ~ Connection/Wifi signal strength

  ~ Volume

  Hidden, but display notifications (accessed via popup "Show hidden icons" arrow)

  ~OpenOffice.org Quickstarter

  ~ Avast icon

  ~ Action Center (flag)

  (I think there's one more, but I don't remember.) It could have been 'Power', which I think, but it is completely hidden, as in the system icon is disabled)

  What is already:

  ~Notifications/what watch is already very well tuned for my taste. I just got set to "Show icon and notifications", stuff the value "notifications only." (Ergo, it resides in my region 'Show hidden icons' through arrow, but is not visible otherwise.) Und stuff put not show at all.)

  ~ Windows is up to date.

  ~ Drivers are all up to date.

  What has been tried:

  ~ To reboot first, simple. Nothing.

  ~ Searched online, find the regedit, removed IconStreams und PastIconStream in the registry, kill explorer.exe, run explorer.exe. Voila, my icons were back. Except for some I had to modify the settings on back to what I wanted. That was supposed to be the end of it. ... It wasn't. Model began the next day, icons were not loading right. The same 3 icons has charge. Tried the regedit with a reboot... Nothing helps.

  ~ I tried Regedit und journal/off voltage. Zip, they go back to does not properly.

  So, I wonder why the regedit isn't sticking. Personally, I don't find yet, everything which would be somehow in conflict with this, especially since the wifi turns on automatically does not show in the taskbar, or volume. Everything seems to work fine, so I don't understand why some of them are not loading. The only way I know to make the back is with regedit. But in doing so each time I start my computer is pretty boring.

  Search for a solution: What can I do to remedy this? Everything I looked at gives me "update drivers, windows update, virus/malware research, make regedit (mentioned above), log off / on, restart" that have been tried.

  Alrighty, I tried to start in safe mode, a boot minimum then tried und tool File Checker system, nothing that was of any help either.

  So, as a last ditch effort... I did a startup und repair selected a Restore Point.

  Solution: My icons in system tray restored to a previous state until I started having problems, are evidence of as it should.

  Obviously, I have solved my problem, but I have to mark an answer for them to consider that it solved und I can not put my own answer to select. So I chose the one who has not fixed it, but would probably be someone elses.

  Here's my problem. The behavior to hide to see the embedded in DW CS3 is works well in IE6 and 7 but does not at all in firefox and safari (latest versions). I tried it on different events, but nothing.
  
  My web site is configured that if someone clicks on details, a layer will become visible and the details will be displayed. I know there is a work around and the easiest would be to open a new window, but it is not the style I want.

• New e-mail notifications does not.

  In recent weeks I get no alerts, tray icon or the same sounds so I haven't changed any settings. I have been using Thunderbird for years and this machine for over a year, and yet I've had no problems until recently. I looked through the boards and there has been no solution that does not involve making sure that everything is checked, what I've done.

  I had to follow john goodwin blog to test it several times. I also tried to set up hyperion with anonymous email service. But the mail server does not have a single piece of Hyperion.

  I was wondering have you set admin email id in the planning of the preferences? It's something that we've missed during the configuration of e-mail beyond for our planning system. You must connect using the admin username and identification of email that you use during the configuration of the value. There are also that all users key in their mail electronic id in the preferences of the user for an application as well...

  I am relatively new to advanced use of Captivate stocks (now using Cap5). I have a strong background in Actionscript, so programming concepts are not new for me. However, this relatively simple process has left me speechless. Here's what I have going. Using variables and advanced actions, I use multiple CHOICE answers as a matter of likert scale. I do this so I can send the user to a specific slide based on the culmination of a pre-test score and post test. So, in my blade of MCQ test I 5 responses and the value of each of them to assign a number to a variable, once chosen. That is to say. Click 1, strongly agree to assign v_Score1 to 1, click 2 are agree assigns 2 to v_Score1, etc. I then an expression that adds two slides responses (v_totalScore = v_Score1 + v_Score2). On the next slide, I show that v_Score1, v_Score2 and v_totalScore are in the legends. Then I have an action on a button that triggers another action called a_goToResults. a_goToResults is a fast action with two conditions. The first said if v_totalScore is less than 5 go to the next slide and hide legend blue (cap_Blue). The other condition is if v_totalScore is 5 or more to go to the next slide and hide the Red legend (cap_Red). Everything works except for the part of the skin. I named the legends and they selected in the drop-down list, so I don't know there are no typos. I can't make Captivate to hide the legend however. Someone at - it give me advice or know another way to do what I'm doing? Thanks in advance.

  On which the blades are these legends? I suspect they are on another slide of the slide where the peak action is executed?

  You can't show/hide an object with a tip action unless it is on the same blade where the action. I once blogged about display objects / masking. Perhaps it might help you:

  I have a different ringtone for contacts important such as the pages of work or family and friends.  I get only the tapping of the watch on my wrist... the ringtone is not audible on my phone when it is associated with my Apple Watch.  is there a setting I'm missing here because I can't miss my work pages.  My Apple Watch setting is on my iphone for mirrored text messaging

  It is by design. When you watch unlocked (that is, you wear it) and the phone is in standby mode, all notifications will be directed to your watch instead of the phone survey. Custom notification sounds are not played on the watch.

  I have a Backflip Android 2.1. While notifications are defined for all my email accounts, only text messaging sounds the notification. Email or social media (Twitter/Facebook) will give a notification. Text messages and other functions of system will sound Notification by itself or with vibrate if selected.   At the suggestion of tech media, I installed Ringdroid, which was supposed to solve this 'known problem '. I have reset the settings factory and restarted dozens of times, without success. All other functions seem normal and functional.

  Only social messaging provides notifications of Message Direct to Facebook and Twitter. So you're not going to receive notifications of new messages on the wall, love, tags, tweets, etc.
