• Dynamically export data only the differential on a daily basis

  Hi all

  How should design exports as it pushes only new data added that day downstream? For example, if I export a hierarchy that is updated by users per day and my work at 18:00 every day. I want to export only the nodes that have been added so far here or if updates have been made for them that day. I tried to use last modification on as a filter that worked, but I was not able to exploit this filter to make my dynamic export without updating every day.

  This looks like a delta process, while there may be other ways to achieve this, evil sticks to your approach.

  Create a derived string Type local property say Custom.Prop1 with this logic.

  Equals (String, format (mm/dd/yyyy, date, Now ()), format (mm/dd/yyyy, date, ChangedOn ()))

  
  

  then in your hierarchy of export create a filter to search for the Custom.Prop1 is equal to True.

• Loss of key words to export (LR2 and LR3)

  I have a problem I had since LR2 and have discovered that it continues in LR3.  I hope that the geniuses here can help...

  I have an export preset user who creates a size max JPG and includes it in the catalog.  _Almost_ works perfectly, but there is always a key word or two lost in the translation.

  A specific example, I have a DNG with the following key words:

  "citrus", "Board", "fresh fruits", melon, food, fresh, fruit, half, knife, melon, organic, snack, white wood,

  When I export to jpg, adding to the catalog, the list of keywords is:

  "citrus", "Board", "fresh fruits", melon, food, fresh, fruit, half, knife, organic snack, melon, white

  The last keyword is truncated and does not.  This is not 100%, but is the most common occurrence.  Sometimes another keyword will be also absent, but the last is the most common to lose.

  No problem get subject key words on the new file?

  Are there any hierarchical keywords among them?

  Try checking write keywords as Lightroom hierarchy in export.

  We have a cube BSO and loss of data 2 years IE... only which are under particular Member, but we have backup and load that data into a dummy cube in which the data seems good I tried to use lock and send and who did not work as I am a beginner, I have no other idea, can someone tell me how to restore.

  Two ways that you can do.

  Easy way

  1. Copy this dummy cube where you uploaded the data to a different cube (as a backup in case where)
  2. Keep only the hierarchy for which the data is lost and remove all other hierarchies in the dimension. This is because since charge from a backup you will have all the data.
  3. Save the outline after the restructuring, recover data and check again if your lost data are there in this cube
  4. Export the data and import them into the target application

  A little hard

  1. Copy this dummy cube where you uploaded the data to a different cube (as a backup in case where)
  2. If the hierarchy is a hierarchy of sparse dimension, you can write a script DATAEXPORT to FIX on this particular hierarchy and export data
  3. Check the data and import them into the target application (I usually load to a different dummy cube to ensure exproted data is data other than data loss)

  You can also do with a scritpt report, but if the amount of data is more then report script is not a good option

  I gave you options on how it can be done. I suggest you go with "Easy Way" you said that you are a beginner

  Hello, I am very interested in buying Lightroom 5.2. I tried the RC that was missing today. Yet, I have several questions that I can't find really good conclusive answers, I'd like to get an answer before buying LR. Please do not write maybe like this or that (assumptions), because I don't want to start my entire workflow and then realize that I have to change all around, please reply, if you know for sure that something works and you are, preferably, using this method too.

  Is the big question, where I want to especially a conclusive answer:  How to manage the photos Lightroom when using 2 computers, keeping all the changes made on one of them, using the same photos for editing. I'm not going to use DNG. Details: I mainly use my old MacBook Pro, but I wish I could use my PC as it is much better (card: i5 2500K, 16 GB of RAM, SSD, USB3, nVidia GTX 560 TI etc.). I have 2 external HD that I could use, one for backup and one for the actual Photos/changes. I you will probably need to use as my internal HDs are fairly complete and I cannot be the kind of things simply delete or move to one (developer, without loss of music, programs etc.).

  On this basis, how do I save all such Photos folder (pictures and retouching and preferably presets too)?

  According to me, that it should be possible to work cross-platform without having to create a link to the files each time, or without having to keep export/import of the catalog, keeping the single catalog and the picture library on an external drive that is then switched between systems as needed.

  Obvious first requirement is an external drive that is formatted in a way (for example, FAT32) that it can be used on both platforms in read/write mode. Given that, if the catalogue AND folder parent si le catalogue ET le dossier parent images are both set to the same level in a global parent folder, then it should be possible to take advatage of ability of Lightroom to use relative paths instead of absolute paths to detect the images, no matter if the player is named (Mac) or lettering (PC). This is how "export as catalog of ' works, that is, it creates a 'package', alias a parent folder, containing the catalog and a replica of the folder hierarchy to exported along with the catalog images. Take this 'package' to another system (same OS or not) and "it works" even if the drive letter is different or the operating system is different... because the relative path of the image catalogue is always the same.

  I have not tested this cross-platform (if I have between various PC systems with letters of different readers) so for me it's still just a theory, but there may be others who have done this successfully.

• Why imported separated as keywords keyword synonyms?

  Hello and sorry if this question has been asked before (this is my first time in the forums, and I find them rather user-friendly).

  Currently, I'm trying to understand the keywords and hierarchies of keywords.

  I managed to create several keywords that include keywords and synonyms, for example, the top keyword to the page 'Rental' includes the keyword Sub 'Europe', and for that I entered the synonym "Europa" (German translation of 'Europe').

  Now, I apply the keyword 'Europe' to an image, to export the image and add the image exported to my catalog. And now Lightroom automatically adds "Europa" as distinct keyword to my list of keywords. This goes against the goal of hierarchies of keywords, because my list of keywords will soon be crowded again, and all the help sites I've come up to now talk about lists of keywords without clutter.

  So, my suspicion is that I'm doing something wrong. But I'm lost... someone can help?

  I checked the option "Write keywords as Lightroom hierarchy" when export - I thought that would mean my exported image will contain the same hierarchy of keywords and so there will be no new Word added to my list when you add this file exported to my catalog. But it doesn't seem to work...

  She wants the full capacity of LR of hierarchies more synonymous keywords on any level. This should work if you export out of LR and returned. Especially if you share this picture with a different person.

  Your answer means that LR is unable to do this?  That the synonyms feature does simply not, because LR cannot mark a key word, exported as a synonym of another?

  Leaving aside the tricky question of WHY it would be immediately re - import an exported image - synonyms are intended to work at the breast of a data catalog despite she was absent as real keywords on an image.

  So physically it is not necessary to include synonyms outgoing or incoming, so that these can function properly while you are in the relevant catalogue. Like Collections, synonyms and interweaving of keyword are properties of a catalog; an image.

  An image that has a real key word, ' hooks in "all automatically – associated synonym behavior and conduct of hierarchy also.

  Including these 'virtual' keywords as keywords REAL export, means that they act as real keywords. For example, they are more synonymous, they are now full keywords full - so they will appear in the list of keywords.

  If you want synonyms or implicit hierarchy to be seen OUTSIDE Lightroom then - quite simply - do not include this in your output.

  If you wish to place the images on someone else in a way that still maintains complete catalog functions you have locally; You can select and export as catalog. Or you can provide a catalog model that already contains this structure. When they import your new image and its actual keywords, all related virtual synonyms and hierarchy will already be there, for them to hang.

• Export only the hierarchy names & properties hierarchy

  Is there a way to export only the hierarchy properties associated with this hierarchy in a database table and the name of the hierarchy? For example, I have a group of hierarchies HG1 who has 10 hierarchies H1, H2... H10. Each hierarchy has 3 properties of hierarchy that are associated with, HP1, HP2, HP3. Each hierarchy has also its own set of branches and leaves. Is there a way I can export only H1, H2... H10, as well as the property of hierarchy associated with each hierarchy in a database table in a format something like below:

  Create a hierarchy export, select the choice of the hierarchy as "Group of the hierarchy" and select the respective hierarchies group, put the filter as a level 1 is, that will give you only one record for each hierarchy and select the required properties columns, it should work for you.

• Numbers - cannot export to PDF

  I have the 08 numbers version 1.0.3

  I'm more able to export numbers in pdf or excel format.  I save the file/worksheet in numbers, then export to pdf or excel format.  When I do this I get the following message is displayed "the export failed.  The selected file or location (drive or directory) is read-only.

  I created new calculation sheets in case there is a bug in the original file.  Same message.

  I tried to create, and then record the Numbers worksheets in different folders and then export - same message.

  I can export Pages documents in the folders where it has failed with numbers - if this isn't a problem with the files.

  I have been exporting documents of numbers as pdf for centuries.  The last I did successfully was 6 weeks ago - I think not I changed my settings to cause this problem.

  I went to disk utilities - these are the results.  Made no difference.

  When I imported my favorites from my MS browser that they all were organized in folders as they were in the browser Ms. Now, when you go to export Firefox bookmarks I receive in a sorted order lack there organized records. This is not acceptable. Must have exported them grouped in folders there. How can I get this done?

  Although Firefox creates an HTML document as the export base format (bookmarks Firefox export to a HTML file for backup or transfer bookmarks), it does not include the style rules to create the page, so it seems flat. However, the structure is there. If you want to see indented to display the hierarchy of folders, you can add a style rule by opening the file in a text editor such as Notepad or Wordpad. You can paste the following between the < TITLE > and < H1 >:

  I am configuring an ASAM ODS server. I already create the server, export the configuration, and installed on the client computer. Then I am able to connect from a client computer to the server but when I try to run the script to the hierarchy that does not work. My understanding of the forums another is that the script "main.vbs" to create the hierarchy should be run in tiara 2012 (I'm running with 2012 SP1 and still does not work).

  The first thing I notice is that after the conection icons are not the same in the interface ASAM (NAVIGATOR) and then when I run the "main.vbs" and "CreateASAMModelHierarchy.SUC" the error attached.

  In case you have the same problem as did nrin, here is once again this solution:

  To connect to the NI ASAM-ODS server with AOP5 please follow these steps:
  1. open the NAVIGATOR tiara.
  2. go to settings - data banks...
  3. Add a new data store. Or using the first button on the toolbar or via the context menu.
  4. enter a name, select the use AOP5 and click OK.
  5. in the following configuration dialog box, you must enter the computer name of the machine running the server OR ASAM-ODS.
  (This information is also displayed in the dialog box settings ASAM Manager DataFinder (DFSE)
  6. click on the [...] button in the URL line. In the next dialog box, select your server ASAM-ODS.
  7 leave the dialog boxes for configuring two clicks on the [OK] button and open the new data store in the BROWSER.
  8 download the creative hierarchy script that has been updated on January 27, 2014 and run in DIAdem SCRIPT

• A VI record with it's subvis and hierarchy

  Hello community,

  I'm working on two independent version of the same application. The differences are minor, most of the source code is the same. Obviously a pain in the back to keep as if I find a problem with esityksen and fix it then I need to apply the same changes on versionB as well. Even if I want to add a new feature. Its particularly painful if the hotfix affects several subVIs as so I need to copy the new version to the other version. Its very subject as if I just forget to crush a VI then VersionB can't do what I want it to do.

  The question I have: is there a way to export sort a VI with all its subvis in keeping the structure of moose files, so I can simply copy this new structure and it would replace all of the old screws?

  (Before ask you... I inherited this accession and there is absolutely no way to merge the two versions in a single application. "It must stay as it is.)

  While it sounds like it would be better to find a new way to manage these slightly different versions, I will answer your original question.

  If all your screws are in a project, you can click on file > save for the previous Version... And then choose the version that you want to save it to. You can, of course, select the same version of LabVIEW in the menu drop-down (I don't mean that you need to change the version each record!). Choose a new folder to save on and it will preserve your file structure.

  It could be a bit annoying because it copies the entire hierarchy. So if you have a folder called MyProject with subfolders, but MyProject lies in Libraries\Documents\LabVIEW Projects\2014\MyProject, then you have to dig several records to join your screws

• Pointer/file missing in Outlook Express 6? Not compact or export.

  Under XP with Outlook Express 6. Msgs compacting works (until the last folder?) and then said terminte because the file is in use.  Does not say which folder.  I have not opened - I know.  Do not use to do this.  Have auto update so not sure when something has been corrupted.

  This may be related to another problem.

  When I tried to export these msg on a Vista platform I got msg that an Outlook file is missing.  But the attempt to export error msg does not say which file is missing.

  Any suggestions?

  If I can get the Outlook Express on the XP machine compacted, then want to export these message (I have thousands hundreds stored in folders) so I can import then to a Vista machine (my more recent)

  You are compacting via the guest? Try it manually. There is a bug in SP3 that you should have installed years ago which makes the compaction via the quickie on Folders.dbx. You can see what folder it crashes on simply by moving this dialog box from the road entering the blue banner at the top.

  Compaction hangs on Folders.dbx after installation of the SP3 for XP:

  It is a known problem and will never be solved. As a result, compact your folders manually. The counter will be reset, and a compact manual won't hang it.

  Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

  If you have the habit of compaction before 100th closing, (i.e. once a week or more), you will never see the prompt again.

  Outlook Express does not work under Vista and Outlook is a totally different program, so that the problem is not related and not even on the same machine.

  I never tried with EPMA app but it works perfectly in a typical application. You should be able to migrate the application without PUH. In shared services, select all of the artifacts during the export. During the import you can select all except PUH. You should be able to import

  I need help in the design of export and real estate in DRM configured with the database table.

  Consider a hierarchy has, with 10 Member L1, L2... L10 and each with some leaves (hierarchy level 3). Each Member has a different set of attributes / properties that are associated with, lets call P1A, P1B, P1C for Limb L1, P2A P2B for Limb L2 and so on. P1A property may or may not apply to any other Member, it may be unique to the L1. Each property / attribute has a value for this branch. The requirement now is to get the export table in the format below.
