  • The SAR values lower blackBerry 10-> BB phones sold!

    Dear community,

    Dear BB smartphone antenna developers,

I would like to highlight the fact that the lowest values of SAR (specific absorption rate) of mobile phones have been achieved by Samsung in the last six years. Models Samsung Galaxy have extremely low values of about < 0.4="" w/kg.="" a="" detailed="" list="" of="" phone="" models="" and="" sar="" values="" can="" be="" found="" on="" the="" german="" website=""> http://handywerte.de/index.php.

Samsung Galaxy phones are a very good quality of voice despite the fact that they «radiate less» Therefore, I wonder why Blackberry is not to low values of SAR, either? There is a great sales potential for Blackberry that there are a lot of clients who have chosen a phone regarding the SAR value - and today chose Samsung.

Despite the fact that there is no scientific study that shows a harmful effect of radiation of mobile phones on human health, Blackberry could sell a lot more phones with lower values of SAR - threre is still a lot of people out there attention to the value of the DAS.

    With greetings

    BBsupporter

    Hi BillJ,

you're right, of course, values low SAR are not the only reason to buy a phone and, thus, do not automatically match higher sales rates.

If you find people who are interested in ras values or not, depends on the audience target, you ask: for example, if you support the business customers who need to ensure security and stability in the communication systems of their company, the fantastic features of the phones blackberry and services (I love blackberry, incidentally) is the main goal.

However, I am an engineer in electrical engineering and have worked in the field of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). When you work with EMC, after awhile, I had to deal with a citizen initiative about the radiation from cell phones. I was surprised and realized that there are actually people who think a probably harmful effect of radiation of mobile phones on human health.

As I said, I am an electrical engineer, and it is until today NO scientific evidence for any harmful effect of the radiation from cell phones. But let's look at it with a BB sale economic point of view: there are different reasons for people to buy a cell phone: a good OS, bright screen, good camera, long term, battery, comfortable keyboard, elegant body, large memory, brilliant speakers, etc... If there are people out there, who want a low das, then let me tell you that there is NOTHING that can be done more easily than a lower SAR!

For example, to significantly improve the camera, you will need to use better lenses, a better sensor and maybe the software will need to be adjusted for a better signal image processing (noise suppression). This means a significant effort for BlackBerry. As an EMC engineer I can tell you that the effort to change the SAR is significant - it requires only slight changes in the design of the antenna. So if the effort is practically zero, why not do it?

What's my motivation? I love BlackBerry devices and want just BB to succeed again. It is sad to see that blackberry had so much problems in the past. For example, I think that opening the door for Android in the OS 10 is absolutely necessary and will win back customers.

So, my post on the SAR was just to suggest how BlackBerry can accomplish some specific wishes of customers even better. If the effort to change the design of the antenna is practically zero, if there is virtually no cost for the changes, and the voice quality can still be excellent (as indicated by Samsung Galaxy devices), so why not reduce the SAR?

    Kind regards

  • SAR value on z5?

    Hi guys, greetings from Norway!

I'm one step away from the z5 to purchase but the calue sar will call. I can't find anywhere?

  • values of temperature at high fixed values

I have two 1102/1302 with 6363 which worked well in the past.  After some downtime, I ran the vi and does not have the correct values.  I studied the virtual channels in MAX and the table has high values fixed for all channels (218-219 C) at room temperature and they are static values.  It would seem that these values are not be played from any connected TCs.  No idea as to what might cause this behavior?

I found the question late yesterday and it turned out to be a hardware problem.  The problem is now resolved.

  • the entry on Tektroniks DMM4040 high impedance value

I use a Tektroniks DMM4040 with itself to record data of voltage. When the digital multimeter is used in manual mode, there is an option for a high (> 10 GOhm) input impedance during the measurement of the potential.

This option can be introduced on the market when the multimeter is controlled by SE?

    Thanks in advance!

  • To find the nth higher/lower value in a table

    Hi all

    I have a question

in the table a1(empid,sal) are the 2 columns

    EmpID sal

    100-5000

    105 7500

    110 3500

    087 11136

    14336 95

I didn't want to write the query that will give me the 3rd highest salary. or generalized to find the nth more eleve/nieme the lowest value of the table.

Note:-Rownum and Rowid must not be used

    Thank you

    Hello

You can use a generic result of queries to find nth highest salary...

Just put the value of N in the query, you will get the answer...

    Query:

    SELECT E1. Salary OF EMP E1 WHERE (N) = (SELECT COUNT (DISTINCT E2. Salary) OF EMP E2 WHERE E2. Salary > = E1. Salary);

    hope you got the answer...

    Check if it really helps...

  • CHANGE the SEQUENCE on a busy server translates into very high unexpected values

Our sequence was 782,393,232, or so, when I came it up through 30 000. Here are the commands I used:

    change the sequence of OUR_SEQ increment in 30000;
    Select double OUR_SEQ.nextval;
    change the sequence of OUR_SEQ increment in 1;
    commit;

When I questioned nextval in the sequence, a few minutes later, he had climbed up to more 8 billion! I have reset quickly up to 783 million or more, and it behaved correctly after that. I saw some posts on the net that infer that the reset sequence is heavily used can cause "unpredictable." Everyone knows this or y at - it a bug known?

    Sven,

I'm not sure I understand what you're clarifying...

In a CCR cluster, a sequence with a cache has a separate cache in each node of the cluster. If the cache has been set to 20 (the default), and the increase was set to 30,000, each node is hiding 20 values separated by 30 000. And caches would be overlapping (i.e. node A would get 20 values of 1-570 001, node B would get 20 600 001-1 170 001 values). I don't see that this is in contradiction with what I posted.

Obviously, the presence of a cache creates a bit of a ride with when, exactly, you say that a sequence is incremented. The NEXT_VALUE in DBA_SEQUENCES is incremented by cache * interval when any node exhausts its cache. The NEXTVAL of a sequence for connections that hit a particular node will increase by interval every time another session gets the NEXTVAL of a sequence. The NEXTVAL of a sequence for connections on a different node is not affected by what is happening on the current node. What enlightenment do you? If so, I agree.

    user11300030,

Discussion on the sequence of caching can provide insight into why none of the lines are between 780 million and 1 billion. It is quite possible that these values have been cached on one node other than the node where the pads were executed. Had caches was flushed not when change you the sequence, inserts run on these other nodes could have used this range values.

  • If higher, a value equal to zero

Hello! I'm writing a basic if exposed at the end of my VI (the side far right, outside the while loop).

I wish that all numbers greater than 2.59 X 10 ^ 6 to write on the worksheet as zero. Numbers less than this threshold, should be written as they are calculated.

It seems to be a very basic concept but I'm running out of problems with having the wrong form of the data...? As well as to get the output of zero to write on the worksheet if it's actually superior to 2.59 X 10 ^ 6.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hello

Confuse you the data types. Boolean and double... I have attached a simple VI which seems to solve your problem.

  • Flame SAR

    Hello
I am interested in the Firefox OS flame device. Can you tell me what is the value of the DAS?

    Thank you

Well according to the flames 'getting started' manual sar values are:

    • SAR head: umts 2100 + bt + wifi: 0,253 w/kg
    • body-worn-sar: umts 2100 + bt + wifi 0,322 w/kg

and then there's this sentence: "the highest sar value for this mobile phone in a test model is 0.39 w/kg for use at the ear and 0.77 w/kg for use close to the body.

  • Please specify side SAR MotoG 2nd Gen

    Hello

I had ordered a generation MotoG flipkart.com 2nd (exclusive online seller in India for MotoGP)

The SAR value which is mentioned on flipkart for Motorola 2nd generation (XT1068) is "the head - 1.022 W/Kg, to the body - 0.594 W/Kg.

However, the information in the phone under the "about phone" > "Regulatory Information Section" mentions the SAR as the head: 1.52W / kg and the body as 0.894W / kg.

Can you please specify which is correct.

    Concerning

    Tiphaine Singh

Yes, the values are correct for the version of the India.

You can see the values of SAR here. The India values are added to the site.

  • Validation rule of error to a value greater than $999,999,999,999.99.

A validation rule of error for an input value of the user of something higher to $999,999,999,999.99 seems to work only when the amount is 1,000,000,000,100.00 in Oracle policy Automation when written as a Word document rule.

If the value is implemented at the level of the attribute, then it works for the maximum value of $999,999,999,999.99. And immediately places an error for any value greater than $999,999,999,999.99 even a value of $1,000,000,000,000 is picked up. However, it will be against best practices which is the mixture of source and validation rules.

I tried all kinds of conditions such as rounding, truncation etc and none seem to work correctly outside validation of the attribute levels.

    @

Looks like you have to face a maximum value for the validation.

Do you really need set a very high maximum value? I suggest you enter a maximum value that is a little less than 999,999,999,999.99

    See you soon

  • Wiggle returns values changed by an amount greater than amplitude setting

Hi there... I'm crazy or wiggle is misconduct by a small margin.

I have a slider control set to an initial value of 50:

    wiggle1.jpg

On this slider is an expression:

    Wiggle (1.5,50)

When I preview this in the graph Editor, the value is sometimes dip below 0! I have a reading frame-0,15 and if I have the mouse on the chart he plunges as low-0,45.

Shouldn't an amplitude of 50 on top of a 50 result in a higher number value extends from 0 to 100? The value is also never amounting to 100, but I'm willing to chalk that up to that exhausts do not on a fairly long-term to see all possible values.

    wiggle2.jpg

I remember well, wiggle() has always been able to slightly exceed the specified amplitude (I think I measured it once, but I don't remember how far it can go). You just need to take account of this possibility.

Where can I set preferences for dom.ipc.plugins. *? (I see no plugins or extensions of Tools-Addons that resemble a dom.ipc.plugins?)

    Extensions I have are:

    YesScript

    PLugins:

    Java

    Shock wave

Could you point me to where in mozilla crash reports that I would find the number of open tabs and memory as being the cause of the accident? (just so I can check after I have try to reset that plugin.exe run to start again I can take a look and see if the memory usage is better - or should I look at the Task Manager for that information also)?

I noted the crush in the report was "EXCEPTION_BREAKPOINT", I guess that's a reason for exception error due to many different causes?

I also noticed a report of incidents listed:

What is the indication of memory, you see?

Are these 'bad' (high usage) values of memory?
