highlight of the performance problem

I have a problem regarding enforcement of highlight, I guess that the problem is on the conditions of the moment, but I don't have any solution for this... I'll explain the code shortly:

This program reads the data from RS232 port and accepts an array it breaks down then small chains, in addition, it provides in writing to the RS232 port.

the problem is that I can't run the program without execution of climax, it gives nothing without this mode... Here's my vi

Thank you very much!  program now works properly

  • folder w / shared the performance problem in Windows 7 comments

    I recently started to use a Windows 7 client again after a hiatus of about nine months, a period during which I improved Fusion of 4.1.1 to 4.1.2 updated to Mac OS X 10.6 to 10.7 and increased the size of the virtual hard drive of the guest from 30 GB to 45 GB.

    I'm now see far worse performance in a folder shared, I'm use to build a software project (Firefox). Previously, performance was more or less at the same level as the construction of a folder not shared, but now it takes significantly longer.

    Construction of a non-shared folder takes about 90 minutes, while the construction of a shared folder takes about 660 minutes (11 hours).

    My host of Mac OS X and Windows 7 OSes comments are fully updated their latest versions. The host is a mid-2010 MacBook Pro with a processor clocked at 2.66 GHz Intel Core i7 and 8 GB of RAM, while the client is configured to use two processors and 2 GB of RAM.

    I tried the update of Fusion to 4.1.3. I also tried to clean up the comments on the general tab of its parameters. And I tried to copy the package of reviews (i.e. merge I did when it prompted me to copy firstrun). But none of these steps had no effect.

    Any idea what could cause this problem?

    Note that guest of Ubuntu 11.10 with a processor core and 2 GB of RAM built Firefox today in 85 minutes in approximately 100 minutes of a shared folder and a folder not shared. All these times are imprecise, because I work in the host when compiling in the guests. But Windows 7 from a shared folder is a clear aberration.

  • Confusion between the performance problem with a query

    I have a query that takes 3 minutes (according to another developer, but when I run it not even returned after 10 minutes) to return lines nil. But the interesting part is that instead of select * if I give a count (*) select, he returned in less than a second. And even the subquery returns no rows in less than one second. The query is as follows. I see no option to answer this confusing behavior. Please suggest me an option I can verify, what explains this scenario. I am interested to know the root cause of it. Please let me know if you need any details.

  • KB973687 - msxml3.dll msxml6.dll - services.exe uses excessive virtual memory, the performance impact on the first logon after restart

    Since the installation of fix KB973687, I had several SP2 and SP3 systems exhibit behavior that makes them unusable until after the first logon is completed, which can take up to 20 minutes.   I've identified the patch (KB973687) and DLLs, that it will update the origin of the problem, but uninstalling the patch does NOT return to normal operation.

    I need to understand how to upgrade these systems WindowsXP SP2 and SP3 to restore normal operation, reinstalling Windows, programs, and settings is an expensive solution.

    The performance problem is caused by services.exe slowly consumes about 1.5 GB of virtual memory, and then slowly releasing.  This seems to be triggered by the first logon after restart, this connection is very slow, the screen is blank for most of it, there might be failures of allocation memory during logon.  Once complete this opening of session and memory usage returns to normal levels, recording and return to work normally as do other operations until the system is restarted.

    Spent a lot of time working with SysInternals Process Explorer, trying to find what specific service might be involved, lightweight system for bare essential services with no luck.

    KB973687 seems to offer only two files msxml3.dll and msxml6.dll.  Uninstalling this patch, resettlement V3 and V6 of the XML parser fail to restore normal operation.

    Not all systems seem to have place still restrict the differences.  Systems that are appear to be the oldest, with Windows XP has been installed for at least a year, installed Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.

    Looking for these forums and the Internet, I believe that many have encountered this problem, but have not is it this level of analysis, seem most attribute it to a virus, I see several start explorer.exe manually, I didn't know all the alternatives before reinstalling Windows.

    Found the solution, the following has been fixed in System Cleaner of Comodo 2.2.129172.4:

    "For some strange reason, after changing some settings of the system with the CSC LastGood.tmp Directoy began to constantly be read from my hard drive. This would occur up to about 90 to 99% of my memory was used and then stopped, begin to free the memory, and the system began to slowly to function normally.
    I used the process explore from sysinternals to help diagnose the problem with any process other than services.exe using memory.

    I used sysinterals filemonitor to see LastGood.tmp directory has been read repeatedly.
    After you have uninstalled CSC the problem has been resolved. »

    Even with the effort to find the solution, it was better to reinstall.  Hope this solution helps others.

  • is it possible to use external memory to increase the performance of my computer?

    I have a slow xp and each program/app/files in an external drive.
    But I want to know if I can improve the performance of my control memory left him in the external drive.

    Hi cesar vidal,.

    1. What is the total capacity of the hard drive primary?
    2. Since when are you facing problems of performance on the computer?

    Method 1

    There is no way the use of the memory or the space left in the external drive to increase the performance of the computer.

    See the article and check if it helps increase the performance of the computer.

    Slow PC? Optimize your computer for peak performance

    http://www.Microsoft.com/athome/Setup/optimize.aspx

    Method 2

    It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is at the origin of the performance problem.

    I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

    To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

    See the link below to learn more about how to clean boot.

    How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

    Reset the computer to start as usual

    When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    (a) click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

    (b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    (c) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

    (d) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

  • How to optimize the performance of this code?

    I have two clips on a flash project. One of them is fixed and the other can be moved with the arrow keys of the keyboard. The two clips have irregular shapes, so HitTestObject and HitTestPoint does not work very well. I have a function that detects the collision of two clips using bitmap. I wanted to update the position of the Movie clip mobile so I put the function of collision detection under the ENTER_FRAME event listener code. It works fine, but when I add many fixed film clips (about 10 clips fixed in an image), the game (.swf file) becomes slower and slows down the performance of the PC. I thought that my collision detection function has a negative effect on the performance of the PC, so I used the class on this page: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/873737
    but the same thing happens.

    You told me how to do to speed up execution of my codes?

    Here's the part of my code:

    stage.addEventListener (Event.ENTER_FRAME, myOnEnterFrame);

    function myOnEnterFrame(event:Event):void

    {

    If (doThisFn) / / doThisFn is a variable to allow or prevent the kind of mobile film clip moved with arrow keys

    {

    If (left & &! right) {}

    Player.x = speed;

    Player.rotation = player.rotation - speed;

    }

    If (right & &! left) {}

    Player.x += speed;

    Player.rotation = player.rotation + speed;

    }

    If (up & &! down) {}

    Player.y = speed;

    }

    If (down & &! up) {}

    Player.y += speed;

    }

    The clips of film sets are wall1, wall2, wall3, wall4,... and so on
    the following code checks to see how many walls exist on each image and pushes them in table wallA

    for (var i: int = 0; i < 1000; i ++) / / you can put up to 1000 object of wall in the table wallA

    {

    If (this ['wall' + i]) / / if the wall object exists, push it into the table wallA

    {

    wallA.push (this, ['wall' + i]);

    }

    }

    for (i = 0; i < wallA.length; i ++)

    {

    If ( h.hitF (player, wallA [i]) | gameOverTest) / / this code checks whether or not the player (the mobile clip) hit the walls

    {

    trace ("second try");

    gameOver.visible = true;

    doThisFn = false;

    }

    }

    I think the following codes are easy to turn and run. I think that the performance problem is due to previous codes.

    If (player.hitTestObject (door))

    {

    Win.Visible = true;

    doThisFn = false;

    }

    If (key) / / if there is a key on chassis

    {

    If (player.hitTestObject (key))

    {

    Key.Visible = false;

    switch (currentFrame)

    {

    case 4:

    wallA [0] .visible = false;

    .x wallA [0] = 50000;

    break;

    case 5:

    wall14. Play();

    wall8.x = 430;

    break;

    }

    }

    }

    }

    }

    It's a simple question that doesn't usually have a simple answer.

    Here is an excerpt of a book (Flash game development: in a Social, Mobile and 3D world) I wrote.

    Optimization techniques

    Unfortunately, I don't know any way completely satisfactory to organize this information. In what follows, I discuss memory management first with sub-themes listed in alphabetical order. Then I discuss the management of CPU/GPU with subheadings listed in alphabetical order.

    This may sound logical, but at least, there are two problems with this organization.

    1. I don't think it's the most useful way to organize this information.

    2. memory management affects the CPU/GPU use, so that everything in the section of memory management can also be listed in the section CPU/GPU.

    In any case, I'll also list information in two other ways, from the easiest to the most difficult to implement and more for much less.

    Two of these later inscriptions are subjective and dependent on experience developer and capabilities, as well as environmental test and the test situation. I very much doubt there would be a consensus on the order of these lists.  However, I think that they are still valid.

    Easier to the more difficult to implement

    1. do not use the filters.

    2. always use the reverse for loops and avoid loops and avoid while loops.

    3. explicitly stop timers for their loan for gc (garbage collection).

    4. use the weak event listeners and remove headphones.

    5. strictly type variable when possible.

    6. explicitly disable interactivity mouse when interactivity smile not necessary.

    7. replace dispatchEvents with callback functions whenever possible.

    8 it would be gc stop sounds for the sounds and SoundChannels.

    9. use the DisplayObject most basic need.

    10. always use cacheAsBitmap and cacheAsBitmapMatrix with air applications (i.e., mobile).

    11. reuse of objects when possible.

    12 Event.ENTER_FRAME loops: use different listeners and different listener functions applied to DisplayObjects as little as possible.

    13. the pool instead of creating objects and gc objects ' ing.

    14. use partial blitting.

    15. use step blitting.

    16 use Stage3D

    Biggest advantage less

    1. Use the blitting Stadium (if there is enough memory system).
    2. Use Stage3D.
    3. Use partial blitting.
    4. Use cacheAsBitmap and cacheAsBitmapMatrix with mobile devices.
    5. Disable explicitly interactivity mouse when interactivity smile not necessary.
    6. Do not use filters.
    7. Use the most basic necessary DisplayObject.
    8. Reuse objects whenever possible.
    9. Event.ENTER_FRAME loops: use different listeners and different listener functions applied to DisplayObjects as little as possible.
    10. Use reverse for loops and avoid the do loops and while loops.
    11. The pool instead of creating objects and gc'ing.
    12. Strictly, type variable when possible.
    13. Use weak event listeners and remove headphones.
    14. Replace dispatchEvents by the callback functions whenever possible.
    15. Explicitly stop timers on loan for the gc.

    16 stop sounds for the sounds and SoundChannels be gc would be.

  • EBS 11i performance problem

    Hi hussein, helios, & all,

    Happy New Year to you :)
    I hope we have a better year 2011 year of the rabbit.
    I hope that we have even better in 2011.

    I just want to learn something from each of you through the year 2010.

    Can you share how tackle you performance problems in EBS?
    I know that there is joint action, that you have done to improve performance.
    It should be after all statistical analyses of performance as Statspack, SAR,
    and other output of the performance monitoring report.

    What actions / solutions did you resolve performance issues in EBS?

    Is it upgraded the server itself for a more powerful?

    For example, our users are complaining about the Oracle Apps very slow race at any time of the day. This produces 20% of the day(performance problem) and 80%, as the Oracle applications is running fine (no complaints of users).
    The appearance of performance problem is not fixed in time, sometimes in the morning and in the afternoon sometimes. Sometimes, even when there are a few users logged in and sometimes it is no problem of performance, even if many users are connected. If you run a statspack you see programs to eat a lot of resources, but they are oracle programs if you can not touch or tune right? So to keep users calm, they agreed to get rebooted server. Temporarily, this solves the performance problem. So we just keep it this way. My suspect is that there are many programs of concurrent background (on request) who is running who is right for which users get slow even if only a few is connected to it. I want to know what are simultaneous programs running at the time where the performance issue of gets users.
    Is there a sqlplus program to list all concurrent programs running?

    Thank you very much

    Mrs. Mina

    What actions / solutions did you resolve performance issues in EBS?

    Depends on what kind of performance issues you have.

    Is it upgraded the server itself for a more powerful?

    Not necessarily.

    For example, our users are complaining about the Oracle Apps very slow race at any time of the day. This produces 20% of the day(performance problem) and 80%, as the Oracle applications is running fine (no complaints of users).

    What part of the application? What activities do you have when there are performance issues?

    The appearance of performance problem is not fixed in time, sometimes in the morning and in the afternoon sometimes. Sometimes, even when there are a few users logged in and sometimes it is no problem of performance, even if many users are connected. Dear friend,

    Why do you think you have problems with shared pool? In the ASH report you are provided, there was just 2.5 medium active sessions and 170 requests during this period, he is very low with swimming pool shared, problems
    you have some queries that use literals, it will be better to replace literals with bind variable if possible, or you can set the init cursor_sharing parameter to force or similar, this is the dynamic parameter.
    But it is not so dramatic problem in your case!

    From ASHES of your report, we can see that top wait events is "CPU + wait for CPU", "RMAN backup & recovery i/o" and "log file sync" and 65% of your database of waiting time. And even in the background waiting events.
    If I understand well report, you have two members in your redo log groups, you have problems with log IO writer speed, check the distribution of files on the disc, newspaper editor is slow causing it to wait for the other sessions. High
    processor can be related to rman compression. Best service can we sea GATHER_STATS_JOB consumes 16% of activity 33% consumes rman and only 21% your applications and also there is something running
    SQL * more under the sys (?) account. There is from the top of the sql page, this is the sql in your application, if I understand correctly, 'scattered db reading file' event indicates that full scans have a place, is it normal that your application? If Yes, then try using
    running in parallel, as we can see in the section "Sessions running PQs Top" your report there is no running in parallel, but as I understand it there are 8 processors, try to use parallel executions or avoid full scans. But consider that
    When you do full scans in parallel PGA memory not used CMS, then decrees setting pga_aggregate_target SGA and increase respectively.

    Is there another application or a program running on the server except oracle?
    Is the performance degradation was strong, I mean yesterday, everything was ok, but today all the evil, or it was good?

    Check the reasons for the slow newspaper writer, it can greatly affect performance.
    Also of 90% of the performance problems generally because of the poor sql, poor execution plans.
    Also if you use automatic memory management, tap Settings, but you must know that in this case the settings will identify the minimum values, this is why define them to lower values in oracle can manage
    entirely.
    Don't increase your SGA at this stage, get the awr report, use @$ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/awrrpt.sql, check your cover shot.

    BUT first, you must change your backup strategy, look at my first post, after that check performance again, before you do that it will be very difficult to help you.

    Good luck

  • Driver went on a pad and perform a system restore, the hardware is not installed but the same problem.

    I have Vista Home Basic. I have a HP printer that whenever I logged in re-installed drivers. So I decided to uninstall all printer and software and re-install fresh. All seemed well and good work but if I restart or stop and come back on the laptop tells me a driver went on a buffer and performs a restore of the system. The system restore seems to work and restores me awhile before I re-installed the printer. But again if I restart or stop it has the same problem. the pilot and buffer. I have not yet installed or reconnect the printer because it restored. I don't know much about computers and I don't know what to do. I wanted to kind of do a clean install of Vista but it comes preinstalled on my laptop so I don't have a disk and that I read removing the drivers does not seem an option.

    Hi ChristopherParvin,

    You did it happen any changes made to the computer before the show?

    Method 1: Try the following steps.
    a. log in your computer using an administrator account.
    b. Click Start and then click Run.
    (c) in the Open box, type regedit and then click OK.
    d. Locate and click the following registry key:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\LPTENUM5. Right click on the registry key and then click on remove.
    e. under confirm delete key, click Yes.
    f. close the registry editor and restart your computer.

    Important:
    this section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click the following article: back up the registry in Windows 7

    Method 2: I suggest to install the drivers of clean boot and then restart the computer and check if the problem persists.

    Please help, THX 1 billion

    Hello Derek,.

    Please keep us updated on the status of the issue.

    I'm sorry for the late reply.

    The IFE can be used to show what part of the system should provide the largest increase in performance when it is upgraded. For example, a computer with the lower under-score in his memory, would benefit more than an upgrade of RAM to add a faster hard drive (or any other component).

  • Performance problems since the update of 2015.6

    Hello together,

    Since I updated lightroom yesterday to version 2015.6 the performance on my machine is incredible bad.

    My system:

    -MacBook Pro (retina, mid-2012)

    -2.3 GHz Intel Core i7

    -16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

    -NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024Mo

    -OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)

    Lightroom synchronizes actually 1400 photos, but even if I stop this process, LR uses CPU so I can't work in other programs like Photoshop (updated yesterday, too). I detected this performance problem as PS freezes when I used the Healing Brush tool.

    LR.jpg

    I don't know what's happening LR, but is not ideal for my workflow.

    Does anyone have an idea?

    If I close LR I can work in PS, even though the Healing Brush tool is slower than in the version before. But I can't always close and open LR.

    Thank you

    regards Denis

    There are already dozens of threads discussing the same question in this forum as well as in the official comments forum here: https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/categories/photoshop_family_photoshop_ligh troom

    You can restore 6.5.1 if you wish. Here's how: How do I roll back to Lightroom 2015.1.1 or Lightroom 6.1.1? Lightroom Queen

    Just replace 6.1.1 with 6.5.1

  • Troubleshooting performance problems with the mail server on the virtual computer

    I have a virtual machine with a mail server installed on a windows OS. But all of a sudden, my clients on the server response times decreased significantly.

    This could be the cause of this problem?
    It could be to do with the network, storage, or resources, but I don't know what steps I could take to determine fault

    Would someone mind helping me with the steps I could take to solve this problem?

    Thank you

    The below document page 20 and 21 accurate meters, you should look at the virtual machine level.

    These counters can be used for any virtual computer not only Exchange.  If you are familiar with ESXTOPs I believe that the best way to deep dive in the diagnosis of performance problems.  Also here is a link for these parameters.

  • Cube Performance for the Refresh problem

    We are facing a strange performance problem with the refresh of the cube. The cube that would take 1 HR to update takes about 3.5 to 4 hours without any change in the environment. In addition, the data it processes are almost the same before and now. Only these cube out of all of the cubes in the workspace suffers the problem of performance over a period of time.

    Details of the cube:
    This cube has 7 dimensions and 11 measures (mixture of sum and avg as grouping algorithm). No compression. Cube is partitioned (48 partitions). Main source of data is a materialized view that is partitioned in the same way as the cube.

    Data volume: 2480261 records in the source to deal with everyday (almost evenly distributed across the partition)

    Cube is refreshed with the script below

    DBMS_CUBE. BUILD (< < cube_name > >, 'SS', 5, false, true, false, true);

    Has anyone faced a similar question? Please can advise on what could be the cause of performance degradation.

    Environment - Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.3.0
    MN - awm11.2.0.2.0A

    Records are recorded in CUBE_BUILD_LOG if you generate from DBMS_CUBE. BUILD or AWM. (The situation for CUBE_REJECTED_RECORDS is different).

    Maybe you build another schema? Records are sent to the CUBE_BUILD_LOG table in the schema of the invoker, not the AW patterns. For example, if you have an AW in the SCOTT schema and run the DBMS_CUBE. BUILD connected call as SCOTT, then all the log records will be inserted in SCOTT. CUBE_BUILD_LOG. But if you run DBMS_CUBE. BUILD connected as certain master pattern, say OLAPDBA, then the folders would be added in OLAPDBA. CUBE_BUILD_LOG. In both cases if the table does not exist, then the construction will continue without error (and connect).

    On the slowdown in general construction, have you tried the cube of compensation and rebuild from scratch? If you have visited additional charges running for awhile, then can slow down the performance of cube generation. Think about the fragmentation of the disk, and you get the basic idea.
