When I designed the site in RapidWeaver 5, I put the titles in italics. But Firefox won't show titles in italics, although Chrome and Safari. I am running OSX 10.7 on a 2009 Macbook Pro (version 33.0.3 of Firefox). You have an idea how I can fix? RapidWeaver tech guys say that there is nothing wrong with my code.

  The new version of the style.css has the "reset style" I mentioned that disables the tag 'em to appear in italics.

  I just installed IE9 and when I run my published WebHelp and select a link in the table of contents, it displays an image dotted around the selected item. This never happened with IE8, so I was wondering if there is anyway to prevent it? Is it possible to add a "outline: no ' somewhere in the RoboHelp output (as you would in styling a CSS link) so that it does not appear?

  Hi Jonathan,.

  Unfortunately, IE was a nut that is more difficult to crack than I imagined. The problem is that IE9 supports the css schema, but the table of contents is running in mode of whims so no goodness IE9 it... There is a solution, it's just not as easy as I thought. See http://www.wvanweelden.eu/robohelp/modifying_webhelp/remove_outline_in_toc for a step by step guide to get rid of the sketch.

• Highlight on the selected line disappear when af:table lose focus?

  I have a strange problem:
  I have an af:table select single line based on the VO and an af:inputText in a jsf page.
  When I select a row in the table, then click on in the inputText at the entrance, the highlight on the selected line in the table disappear!
  The currently selected line is always a controlled beans, but it seems that it is not that any line is selected in the user interface.
  Is this a bug of af: table?

  This seems an expected behavior of the skin of the merger.
  The selected line inactive thoroughly clear yellow that is hard to recognize on some screens.

  solution:
  create a custom look (extend the skin of 'fusion') and create css, like this:

I would like to see the preview to change on the solid object.  Is there a setting somewhere?

  I used a Spry menu for my nav bar and thought that it worked fine after that browser test in FF, Chrome and Safari, but in IE9, it's back.

  The elements menu themselves are back in the actual order of Spry in Dreamweaver and the code that led me to believe, if anything, they would be backwardson in all browsers. Not the case.

  I tried to rename so that they are in the right order (false), I tried to remove and rebuild and I tried placing the wrong way round - which makes them appear in the correct order in IE but bad in FF, Chrome and Safari!

  Would have thought that it may be a hack needed for IE8 and before, but not for IE9?

  Frustrating. Would appreciate ideas.

  I wonder if it is possible to customize a ListField, such as when you scroll through the list, the current row will have a border color around it?

  You might expect to have a special identification for the selected line in a ListField was asked and answered several times on this forum.  From memory, there are two options:

  (a) substitute drawfocus

  (b) in your drawListRow, check if the line that you draw is the selected line of the ListField.

  I suggest that you look in the forum for more information on these options.

  A ListField is a unique field, with a line at a time selected.  Without coding you something special it is not possible to have different parts of the line selected in different circumstances.  And although it is possible, don't normally add you a HorizontalFieldManager (or all other fields) to the ListField and which allows to paint content,

  What you're suggesting is indeed possible, but it is not for the faint-hearted.  I would recommend that investigate you other ways to achieve the desired effect before you start to look at using other fields to the layout and paint a line in the ListField.

  I have the chore of adusting thousands of tab stops in hundreds of paragraph styles and stole scripts useful to reset the tab stops. I thank anyone who has ever displayed such extract.

  I thought it would be easy to write a tab-nudger, the idea being that the user could select a range of text containing tabs and add or subtract a point at a time, but only for tabs in the selection.

  As you have noticed, each PointInsertion, Word, line, text has the same tabStops set as a parent.

  Succesful edit tabStops associated with the current selection needs to discover:

  • How many legs (characters) are inside selection comparing to the whole paragraph.
  • tabStops how are defined for the current text selection (supposed to be at least as much as the number of tabs inside the paragraph)

  Below the function returns an array that contains two elements:

  Array [0] ==> number of defined tabs for the current selection (perhaps it is necessary to add some)

  [1] table ==> table with the tabStops indexes associated tabs in the current selection.

• The highlight in the selection list values

  I have a list of selection of a code that display additional values. Usually I would only code values where the obsolete_ind = "N" and limits the selection to these codes, but when a record is displayed with a code rendered obsolete once the record was initially created, I MUST allow display additional values. IIF, that I don't have, the first value in the list by default, and it seems that it is the current value, which is not true!
  So, I have 'show extra values', but I would like to avoid the registration of 'saved' by using the now obsolete value. Of course, a validation that will solve, but the user will not know who are the valid codes to select.
  Can specific values highlighted in red or something? If the tag selectlist < option value = "" > id has also been = "", a code for the dynamic action, but I do not see how to add this 'id' to the tag option. "
  Any suggestions?

  Some options that come to mind
  -use apex_item to build your selection list, the parameter cattributes allows you to easily add custom attributes to color some entries
  -Several times in the past, I've seen some old values of code marked with an asterisk, then users are educated to know that they are the older options and validation (browser or submit) it applied.
  -Having a display-only field that shows the current value and a selection list that offers only the current options

  Running in safe mode. In the Preferences menu, I have the "open new window in a new tab instead" box checked but when I click on links the new page opens in the current window. If I order click on I have the ability to open the new window in a new tab

  The setting in tools > Options > tabs: "new pages should be opened in ': 'a new tab/window' is for links that specify a target window to open the link.
  
  This option allows to divert these links into a new tab instead of a new window.

  Links that do not specify a target still open in the current tab, unless you redefine with a middle or click Ctrl left click (new tab) or a left click UPDATE (new window) or via the context menu.

  I would like to know the orange as the color of the upper part of a tab in the tab panel, see the image below.

  When the Panel has ATTR_CONFORM_TO_SYSTEM_THEME game, ICB allows Windows to draw the tabs by calling DrawThemeBackground with partIDs TABP_TABITEM, etc. The image you posted is the XP theme. The theme of Windows 7 is different, and it looks like this...

  

  I checked the GetSysColor Windows function, but didn't see a way to get that color. Anyway, since the tabs draw differently on XP and Vista/Windows 7, you can not use this color in the different controls.

• Customizing the Panel collapsible Spry widget

  The panels reducible spry are great, but I want to provide the user with a click to close all or open-all access panels. This would be in addition to the existing default functionality - of course. I think a link text or small image above the entire Board, which I think would be a nice addition.
