  • [SOLVED] "High Definition Audio Controller" could not be started. "No audio devices installed." The Device Manager has no controller "Sound and video game. Information system has nothing under "audio devices".

    Hello

    I've had my laptop for 2 or 3 years, and the sound was always very well. Yesterday morning my computer came suddenly with the sound with a red X icon. She was not dumb, and yet no sound came. The sound options show that no audio or recording devices are installed (for disabled AND disconnected devices). There is no 'of sound devices or video game"in Device Manager. Information system shows no information (empty) under its device. However, in Device Manager, under system devices, "High Definition Audio Controller" has a yellow caution icon and cannot start.
    I have not installed a new OS or anything recently.
    I have a Dell Inspiron 1545
    Windows 7 Home Premium
    Service Pack 1 (6.1.7601 Build 7601)
    Pentium Dual-Core CPU
    64-bit operating system
    I tried:
    • Relocation and reactivation of "High Definition Audio Controller". I rebooted. No change.
    • Go to the Dell website, download audio drivers for my label service and installation. We decompress in the drivers folder and nothing happens. One will be unzip, try to take me by another plant for IDT Audio and then say 'the hardware found is not supported by this IDT' and is abandoned. I rebooted. No change.
    • Install drivers in safe mode. I rebooted. No change.
    • In administrative tools > Services, I found "Windows Audio". He had started and was on "auto". Six of its dependencies (3 parents, 3 children) had started and were to "automatic".
    • I looked at the system restore. There was a "critical update" this morning here. I restored to a point before update and restarted. No change.
    • Looked in the BIOS for an option on the sound, but could not find one. Restore the BIOS default and rebooted. No change.
    • Ran Microsoft Fix It I rebooted. No change.
    • By clicking on the audio task bar icon runs the diagnostic window thing. It detects a problem with the description: "material changes may not have been detected.
    • Put on the headphones. Nothing changes.
    I'll probably have to do a fresh install, am I not?
    I would be very grateful if you could help, thanks.
    Jerome

    Right, I fixed it myself.

    So I uninstalled "High Definition Audio Controller".
    But this time, instead of just turning it back on and let it install it himself, I clicked on "Analysis of the hardware changes" (under the Action). He finds that a new device called PCI something under other devices.

    Then I open up Windows Update and click on search for new updates (it also analyzes the drivers) and I think it just automatically reinstall "controller Audio high definition" and then there was no problem of yellow warning sign thing.

    If it does not, simply play in Device Manager with looking for changes on the hardware and the update of bollocks.

    If you're still stuck, try "Add inherited harware" (this will install an OLD device), click Advanced, click on "sound devices" and video games, wait a while, find a suitable device and continue the process...

  • Game and the system hangs during the update of software occurs prompt

    When you play many I experience a complete system failure after a game for a variable period.  I suspect that the problem might relate to the next available software updates and a quick occurring asking if I want to load/install the update.  I think that my PC is set to interrupt the game, when occurs a such prompt and I suspect that some games cannot manage this interruption and cause the crash.  Problem is that I can not find where swith this parameter to stop or INTERRUPT a game session when an update is available.  Update from Dell Support Center are an example of these software updates.  Any comments on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks - Kevin

    Yes - you probably aren't going to find any setting specifically says: "I play a game, let me alone.»

    I've been a player for 20 years and did not have the updates stop playing once (and some of them were worthy of the experiences of game marathon. 'ha').  Of course - about my gaming PC I always put updates to the manual because I know if I leave auto on (at least) most of the time Windows updates, it could decide to update and restart at any time (without some other parameters).

    What I mean is that I think that looking in the right place, for the most part, to solve the problem you are experiencing.  Please follow the advice and at least update your video drivers (which is one of the largest components of the more modern games) and you can make the audio card motherboard chipset drivers while you're there.

    "Dell" stuff - it is not necessary.  Really.

  • Classic Games folder of system Home Edition of operation not found on Windows 7 Professional Edition

    I can't find the classic games folder (for Solitaire, Spider Solitaire, etc.) on a Windows 7 Professional Edition purchase I did this week. Is it because this folder is not included in the professional version of this operating system? How can I download the file, if possible?

    To activate the built-in Windows 7 games:

    1. click on Start (lower-left) and then on Control Panel.

    2. click on programs and features.

    3. on the left side of the screen, click on 'Windows turn features on or off".

    4. find the entry called games & check the box next to it.

    5. click on OK.

    6 reset.

    If the games box is already checked, uncheck the box , click OK, restart, then do steps 1-6 above.

    I am trying to install a game open source called Rigs of Rods on my dual-boot MacBook Pro with Windows 7 installed via Boot Camp. I get an error that prevents the installation of DirectX. I know that Win 7 includes DirectX 11, but this game does not currently support the DX 11. If I get this error when you try to install DirectX 9. I had a similar problem with another game that I tried installing on another machine Win 7 which is not started in dual mode, and install DirectX 9 worked perfectly. • His T5810 and classic system

    I have a T5810 and a sound system - subwoofer and 6 speakers.  Bureau took a sound card which could connect struggling of the sound system. Is there a compatible sound with the T5810 card. The speaker of this system is a farce.

    Onboard Realtek ALC3220 audio ports on the back may not be sufficient for your speaker system. The only sound card PCIe x 1 that we tested this model has been the Creative Labs Sound Blaster Recon3D PCIe Audio 0DR8F card. But any PCIe x 1 (slot 4) or PCI (slot 1) will work.

  • Two Clips of his game

    I have a 355 framework with a sound clip timeline explaining there are two demos, the first will follow automatically, but if the user wants to see the second demo first then click on the link. When the SWF to frame 350 Demo1 (first demo) tracks starts automatically as expected. If the link is clicked, stops the main melody and the second begins demo but the sound clips for the two demos to play together.

    How can I make sure that only the relevant audio clip runs?

    < code as3 >
    Create an instance of the Sound class
    var soundClip:Sound = new Sound();
    Create a new SoundChannel object
    var sndChannel:SoundChannel = new SoundChannel();
    Load sound using URLRequest
    soundClip.load (new URLRequest ("11.mp3"));
    Create an event listener that wll updated as soon as the loading is finished his
    soundClip.addEventListener (Event.COMPLETE, onComplete, false, 0, true);
    function onComplete(evt:Event):void {}
    Read his load
    sndChannel = soundClip.play ();
    }

    () btndemo2.addEventListener
    MouseEvent.MOUSE_UP,
    {function(evt:MouseEvent):void}
    Stop();
    If {(sndChannel)

    Yes.

    remove the sounds of these timelines and assign each a class, say the S1 and S2 that aura the Sound class as their base class.

    You can then use:

    var s1:S1 = new S1();

    var s2:S2 = new S2();

    to create sound instances.

  • His game even after you close windows media player

    my friend needs help with her computer, whenever it closes windows media player, again there is a sound, any ideas?

    Hi Alex,

    We'll find if there are other applications running in the background on the computer that use Windows Media Player.

    Check out the links and follow the suggestions that are marked as an answer:

    Alternatively, you can fix the problem by disabling the process using the media player:
    1. press Ctrl + Shift + Esc, this will bring up the Task Manager, right-click Windows media player in the Applications tab and select go to process. This will bring you to the processes tab with the process highlighted for you. Right-click on the process and select tree to complete the process . This will close the Windows Media Player.

    2. open another music file by double clicking it. Close Windows Media Player by clicking on the close (X) button for the player.

    This will fix the problem.

  • His game record, audio jumps

    All of a sudden my audio started to jump no matter if I'm streaming or play local music or video. It will start to play and then random shutter or buzz and then repeat at irregular intervals. I have not installed anything recently and this was discovered during a Skype.

    Hi Schrameyer,

    -You use Windows Media Player 12 (WMP12) to play audio files?

    -You receive an error message, by chance?

    Follow these steps:

    Method 1: Run the troubleshooter in the Windows Media Player settings

    For instructions, see the following article:

    Open the troubleshooting Windows Media Player settings Troubleshooter

    Method 2:

    Start your computer in a clean boot state, and see if all third party programs is the origin of the problem.

    For instructions, see How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7 .

    Note: After troubleshooting, make sure that you configure the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 in the above article.
