Hi Pinkyxc,
1. don't you make changes to the computer before the show?
2. do you get an error message when you try to turn off the mute function?
I suggest you try the steps from the following link:

Hey Buddy,
In my opinion, you should check the user manual.
Between the keyboard and display, you can see two buttons to increase/degrease the volume.

It was more common to ask how to uninstall these toolbars. I think that it will now be known as a Bing toolbar, but as much as I know it is no longer supported for Firefox. You can find a few unofficial addons with similar features.

I lost my volume icon, how can I get that back
on my right, I had my volume icon, now it is not there, how do I get that back on my laptop.ty
Try to delete the two registry keys, but create a system restore point before you delete them, just in case something goes wrong.
Create a system restore point, and then open a run window (Windows Logo key + R), type regedit and press enter in the left pane, navigate to Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\TrayNotify of HKEY_CURRENT_USER. In the right pane, there are two entries: IconStreams and PastIconsStream, right click, then delete them, restart the computer and the keys are re-created.
You will perhaps (just once) with the right button of the taskbar, click Properties > Notification area > customize and put a tick in those who are missing.

My volume icon in the toolbar at the bottom is suddenly gone. How can I get that back?
I think that my computer was not well. It is a Dell laptop (Inspiron 1525). Recently, the power icon in the toolbar at the bottom is clear instead of his usual green color (which indicates that it is 'empty'). But when I click it, it says that it is 100% loaded. And now, today, my volume icon in the toolbar at the bottom has dissappeared. What happens and how can I fix those two things?
Hi Kittyotis,
This is the repair procedure: I recommend method 3: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/106787-notification-area-system-icons.html.
I hope this helps.
Good luck!
