His monitor refresh rate

Hello, I am a high school student and I am doing a project where I need to analyze the sounds from a microphone. I could listen to the microphone and the waveform was updated over time as the sound from the microphone released. My problem is that the parser was not time OER, but would rather take a sample and display it as a graph, wait 2 seconds, take 1/2 second taste, view a chart. It gave me 2 problems, first is that I couldn't miss round if it passes through the timing was off and I need to analyze the amplitude of the sound, so that wouldnot work either because I had such a limited sample. I created a flag for the amplitude in the signal processor and it would also only updated every 2 seconds. I tried to change the settings of the chart so that it was a synchronous display, but that doesn't work anymore.

If you want, I can post the VI.

Any ideas as to why this slow cooling that happens?

Why this delay?

Do the math:

You get the samples at a rate of 12000-24000. If you wish to receive 12000 samples per second, how many seconds it will take to get 24000?

Your code looks basically pretty good. A few recommendations: first, look in the design model ' producer/consumer '. Part of the problem is that you try to perform a treatment too in the loop of the acquisition. You need to get out the operations of data analysis in a parallel loop. Second, if you can understand how to do the analysis without them, lose the express screws. Express VIs lift you a young running, but they can be very inefficient. Third, what is the frequency range you are interested in? A sampling rate of 12 kHz will be accuratly represent data up to 6 kHz. If it's beyond the bandwidth of the microphone you use you can record acquisition and processing time by slowing down the sampling frequency. Get online and Google "Nyquist frequency".

Mike...

PS: What year of high school are you? What project are you working on? How is it that you use LV to the project?

I absolutely have to change on my external monitor refresh rate. I dropped the laptop this morning and broke the LCD screen, so I plugged an old maryvonne 17F3. I can't change the refresh rate and it flickers badly. Technical support eMachines stated that the refresh rate is controlled by the video card and that no driver is required for their monitor (as they have not first: smileysurprised :).) So how can I change the refresh rate? I have the latest Dell drivers for my 830 latitude.

  • Satellite Pro U400-11V: possible to increase the 60 Hz screen refresh rate

I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite Pro U400-11v.
I just realized that my screen refresh rate is 60 Hz (resolution 1280 x 800).
Even I decrease the resolution. It won t be another option 60 Hertz.
Is it possible to increase it?
My monitor is indicated under the generic name of the PnP in the system.

You cannot increase the internal laptop display refresh rate and it of not necessary to go higher, because all the internal laptop screens are running at 60 Hz.
If you would like to connect an external monitor, you will probably see higher available for the external monitor refresh rates.

    Hello, my friend

At first I try to understand your nickname, but unfortunately without success. Is there maybe a hidden message? ;)

In any case, your ad is really amazing. LCD technology is truly the best for the eyes and the content is illustrated flicker. The old monitors refresh rate of 60 Hz was quite low and result flickered photo. Higher discount rates using the image was stilly and flicker.

LCD technology is different and standard setting is 60 Hz. In my opinion you should speak with your family doctor. Maybe you need glasses when working on PC. I have some colleagues in my office who use glasses when working on PC.

    Bye and good luck!

  • Refresh rate of the external monitor (closed macbook) reset

    Hello

Im very new to OS X, I have a macbook air 13 "that I have it plugged into my external monitor acer, when he was in closed mode (clamshell) I changed frequency by accident and now I can't change this back as the ' entry is not displayed. How can I change the refresh rate of the external monitor when the settings show only if the macbook is closed? As I said, I'm new so I am not very confident through many parameters, any help is appreciated.

If you have previously enabled "Screen sharing" Preferences-> sharing system then you can use another Mac to control this Mac and change it to one that works remotely.

You could 'open' the Mac to use its built-in screen and then be able to change the settings of the external monitor.

You can try to reset the setting by following the steps listed here Re: how to restore the display settings

  • Refresh rate of the monitor 2310 m HP and how to set?

This may seem a stupid question, but I agree with the idea that there was no matter what stupid questions, people simply stupid.

What is the refresh rate of the 2310 m, and how can I make sure that my PC card and/or graphic is set to the appropriate refresh rate?

Just got my new 2310 m today, and boy is snazzy. He hung with its cable DVI - D ma/DVI - I took on my PC and it looks great right out of the box. Haven't heard too much audio yet, but it sounds good so far and the volume level is higher than expected, which is nice. (You can always do evolve that you want only it softer sound.) Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase. I just need to know this small a detail so that I don't accidentally FRY this 'thing'.

    Notice to lovers?

Assuming that you have installed the monitoring software.  Win7.  Right-click on the desktop.  Choose "screen resolution." "" Advanced settings '.  'Monitor' tab  Refresh rate possible are only to see the.  Probably the optimum is already in place.  My new HP monitor has only three choices and fastest has been already chosen.

  • Does the HP 2311gt 23 "3D LED monitor support 120 Hz refresh rate?

I just want to know if the HP 23 inch diagonal screen 3D LED 2311gt supports 120hx refresh rate.

I couldn't find anything in the specifications of the product, so I asked here.

The data sheet says nothing at 120 Hz, but 3D monitors usually support 120 Hz, or so I heard.

The HP website . PDF lists all modes at 70 Hz or less. The specifications HP product information page lists all modes at 70 Hz or less and a vertical frequency of 50 to 76 Hz. The specifications, product HP product information page lists as having a vertical sweep of 50-76 Hz scan frequency range. I'll tell you that it does not support a refresh rate of 120 Hz... and that its max refreash rate is 76Hz... and most display modes use a 60 Hz refresh.

  • Slow refresh rate using a D3100 connect two monitors U2311H

    Hello

I have a macbook pro 2016 and bought the Dell D3100 triple display USB adapter to use with it. The two monitors are connected to DVI using adapters connected to the displayport and hdmi ports. I installed the latest drivers from displaylink for El Capitan on the computer and plugged the dock on USB 3.0. The two monitors work. However, they all seem to have some considerable delay. Testufo indicates that they are both running at 60 Hz (as well as the display settings), but movement seems choppy and fuzzy, akin to 30 hz, but maybe a little better.

I read that it would be able to run monitors 1080 at 60 Hz with little trouble. Is there something I am doing wrong?

    Thank you

We didn't test the D3100 on Apple hardware or software is a big unknown.

The slow refresh rate tells us that they're not really running at 60 Hz.

The U2311H has the following ports video =.
    DP 1920 x 1080 60 Hz
    DVI 1920 x 1080 60 Hz
    VGA 1920 x 1080 60 Hz

The D3100's video next ports =.
    Display Port 1.1 = 3840 x 2160 30 Hz, 1920 x 1080 60 Hz
    HDMI 1.4 = 2560 x 1440-50 Hz

So the U2311H using DP 1. 1 a/DVI should be 60 Hz. The other at 50 Hz. But how the Apple operating system is to see these is unknown. You must post on the Apple Forum of Discussions and see if they can offer an overview or troubleshooting steps.

  • Bad screen refresh rate shown under Vista - Satellite P100-429

    Hello

I have a Satellite P100-429. There are three weak, I install Windows Vista Ultimate Edition, but now the highest of screen refresh rate is 60 Hz. I tried to download the latest drivers for the graphics card, but this will not work and the computer also says that the monitor is called generic PNP.

Before Vista has a 100 Hz screen refresh rate and monitor had his screen Toshiba TruBrite WXGA + TFT of own name I tried looking for drivers for the monitor but without success, someone can help me pretty please, I get headaches for the low screen refresh rate.

    Hello

Have you installed the right graphics card driver?
Immediately after installation of Vista, the operating system uses Microsoft's own common graphics driver.
If you want to use additional graphics options, you need to install the compatible graphics card driver.

But I want to clarify something. The LCD or TFT screens give excellent quality and resolution at 60 Hz.
the Refresh on TFT rate simply won't say the same thing about monitors CRT.
Response time, brightness of the Image and the contrast of the Image are more important for a TFT or LCD monitor like the refresh rate.

Performance display and the quality isn't worst if it run on 60 Hz
Therefore, I see no reason to change the refresh rate of 100 Hz

  • XR341CK refresh rate number and how to quit for good

How can I disable this for good? Whenever my monitor turns on, or did something. boredom is back in the corner for me.  Any help would be appreciated.

Here's what I discovered on my own, while the useless online from Acer support told me to return my monitor for the service because my OSD does not match his monitor 'similar ':

If you use the presets of game Mode, you must explicitly save the settings. The unnecessary manual says this, but it does not say how. On the same page of settings such as refresh rate display is an entry called Game Mode. If you select that and enter, you get a screen with options to save the settings for each of the presets Mode game individually. I did, and the refresh rate is no longer on.

  • Satellite Pro A120 - lines running on the external monitor refresh

OK I just want to know if anyone else has this problem if they fixed

I connected an external monitor to an A120 you can see the lines of refreshing the screen running, I changed the screen and power cables to make sure it is properly grounded and drove up the refresh rate all the way, but it happens still I was wondering if anyone else has the problem, so I know I'm not nuts

(Yes, I did an upgrade driver and I tried another monitor the only thing what is the laptop but I don't want to get engineers out if it's something I can solve)

    Hello

Can you please test it on a few different monitors? Perhaps your external monitor is not one that suits more.

  • Is on changing LCD refresh rate?

    Hello

I have Satellite/Satellite L650D series/Satellite L650D - 123; but on my screen refresh rate of 60 mhz which can be changed in any case at a higher rate, or what I need to change to a lower my screen resolution to make it higher?

    Thank you

No, it is not editable. The LCD screen is not like the old monitors you used with desktop computers.
    It's a different technology.

Is there a problem with the LCD?

  • Dynadock can only display 1280 x 1024 at 60 Hz refresh rate

    Hello.

I just installed my dynadock (VGA).
    I run Vista Home Premium.
    I've set up three screens:

    (1) the laptop;
    (2) VGA monitor connected to the laptop.
    (3) VGA monitor connected to dynadock.

I downloaded the latest drivers dynadock from Toshiba Web site and installed.
Everything works until my office two additional monitors...

... except that when I put in display the Dynadock to 1280 x 1024 at true color (32 bit), the best refresh rate, it will allow me is 60 Hz.

The laptop is Toshiba Satellite P205D-S6454.
The two monitors are two 19 "109P 40
The display through a SV221DD Starview KVM switch.

I also downloaded and tried the latest drivers from Displaylink (which seems the graphics card in the Dynadock and has some newer drivers than what is included in the latest Dynadock drivers) with the same results.

Is this normal, or should it be able to give me better than 60 hz to 1280x1024x32bpp?

    Thank you

    Sean

    Hello

I checked the specs on this site and it seems like the dynadock is only capable of displaying 1280 x 1024 32 bit 60 Hz max.

DO NOT buy the computer with 32 GB of RAM, buy it with the 8 GB and 16 GB of Crucial purchase basis or OWC to get to 24GB which will be more than enough!

I'm sure you can find the refresh rate by searching the tecniques or if you don't know, then call Apple online store and request.

I bought Toshiba m55-s3315 analog sagbo m50 with intel integrated, 910 shared dynamic 128 MB of memory; screen - 14.0 "large display with Toshiba TruBrite WXGA. The only refresh rate, I get is 60 Hertz. I've updated the software chip intel and toshiba also... I would like to know - is it possible to get more than 60 Hertz. The only way is to get 85 Hertz is adding external monitor. I have now oportinity to get at least 75 Hertz, screen refresh rate? It has been possible with my old HP Pavilion ze 5000.
Maybe someone could explain to me?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

As far as I know, this value is fixed and you cannot change it.
Even if you update the driver, it is not possible to increase this setting on an internal display.
