His work on Alpha to Dev, but works only on Z10

Hey there everyone! First of all, thank you for this forum, I had some problems in the past and I found some solutions here. Well, this time I couldn't find any, so I'm making my own post!

Well, me and my team, we have a problem. Our application has multiple sounds on it. We do this with HTML5, JS, CSS3, Phonegap. The sound works fine on my PC when it should play and it works also on our Dev Alpha. We have a Z10 to test the application subsequently a final device to make sure that the app works very well. But when we put on the Z10, wow! The sound does not work and worse, there is a good chance that the application stops working, it is frozen. Once she even restarted the Z10!

Then, someone has an idea? We do not use libs like jQuery. And also, I have another doubt. How can I make the screen do not resize when the background is double clicked and how lock screen allowing the user to change the vertical view to horizontal view, I want to block to vertical view only.

Audio rendering

 

For audio, this probably has to do with the limits of the audio channel of OMAP (Dev Alpha B, Z10 STL100-1) and Qualcomm (Z10 STL100-2/3/4). Most likely, the Z10 test you on is STL100-3, which is the set of Qualcomm.

For the OMAP material, there are 64 contexts of available multimedia rendering, which is a good amount.

For Qualcomm (and this is a limitation for any device based on this material) there are 6 audio streams available on the scale of the device. Every time you the preload/play a new audio file, it takes an additional audio stream. You can see how this would cause problems quickly.

If overwrite/reset is a pretty dramatic effect, and I would be a JIRA issue against this newspaper because, in the worst case, I expect the audio does not play. not to crash the machine.

The current solution is to use an OpenAL extension, we have currently available as a plugin of Cordoba:

If you don't want to use of Cordova and direct WebWorks, you will need to explore your own custom extensions. OpenAL bypasses the mm-engine layer rendering and is not supported by the same limitations.

Unfortunately, the decline in performance and the side effects of mixing too many simultaneous sounds on chipset Qualcomm is radical enough. Being a hardware problem, the problem becomes very complex, but our teams are working to improve I just don't have a timeline on it yet.

Resizing of the screen

To avoid this, there are two options. The first is to assign a room when you lock the initial-scale, scale minimum and maximum scale values. Along the lines of:

The second option is to operate the touch-event mode which should theoretically disable the zoom:

    If you look at the thread of LAVA that you linked, ask you the same question it and I answered it say that there are screws that must be explicitly included in the EXE file. I guess if you search the forums OR thread mentioned there that you will find more details.

    Ill be doing his work on 2nd hand PC. The audio controller multimedia mfg is listed as unknown. It didn't work not initially, but through troubleshooting, the properties of the device says now that it works correctly. Now missing the Realtek AC97 Audio driver. I tried several downloads, and but can't seem to get the driver installed. The pc did not come with any driver or installation CD when a dialog box opens, but that's all, I get a low "beep" of the PC. No access control of volume or other sounds.

  • Cannot get his work when running applications with "Run as Administrator" all of a sudden.

    My daughter has been using my computer and done 'something' to him.     I don't know that if Skyke was working or not, I removed it when I started to try to fix things. No program used his work properly, browsers, windows live messanger, ventrilo, etc..

Please insert the blank in the E floppy when I actually inserted in the DVD drive.

    I have uninstall and rebooted the PC, in the hope that readers DVD works OK,... but nothing helps.

    Wonder if the registry damaged for DVD player, or what other problems causing this problem?

    Have you checked if the CD/DVD drive you purchased is a recordable disc? If this is the case, there should be an indication (e.g., CD-RW/DVD-RW). You can also check for the indication Device Manager.

    If you have confirmed that it is indeed able to write on the discs, then try to activate the IMAPI. To do this please see the instructions below.

    1. click on start

    2. click on run

    3 type "services.msc" (without the quotes)

    4. in the window that opens, you select IMAPI

    5. right-click on it and select "Properties".

    6 start the services.

    I upgraded my laptop ASUS (portable UX32A) from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Now, Skype for desktop PC does not load. It is located at automatically sign-in during windows startup. It starts to load upwards and then stops working until it has fully loaded. There is a message saying that Skype has stopped working and that the details have been sent to MS and then it stop Skype.

    So far, I tried all of the following characteristics: -.

    (5) the Windows 10 troubleshooting program are used to try to load-up Skype in an earlier version of windows. I tried all, but he does not always load

    I can get the video version of Skype at work which is part of the window system 10. This shows my camera and his work as everything. But it of a bad version of Skype with few features and also locks Skype to one user on this computer. I can't find a way for other users to use this version of Skype. So I am keen to get Skype for office working on this laptop.

    I think that MS has launched a version of Skype that is not compatible with my laptop with Windows 10 and that the only solutions are to return to Windows 7 or to stop using the Skype program.

    Someone at - it other ideas how I might be able to fix it?

    I gave up trying to make Skype work on this laptop with Windows 10.

    The laptop was working fine with all my programs (including Skype) with Windows 7 - provided operating system with the laptop. Then, you receive a message from Windows saying that you can switch to Windows 10 for free and that your computer is compatible. Once you do this, all the trouble begins. In this case, Skype doesn't work with my other programs and you spend you life is talking with people from Skype (no help at all) or in the lounges of cat like that.

    The answer, in my mind, is to use an operating system that runs on your computer and not upgrade to Windows 10, because it's probably not compatible with applications or hardware on your / my PC.

    Now, I returned to Windows 7, all is well again. And I'll keep my PC this path and isolate the reminder throbbing on the PC icon that tells me to upgraded to Windows 10.

    I suggest you to update fire wire device driver and check.
    The FireWire driver software update may solve problems with a FireWire connection. Use the following steps to update the driver software:
    (a) to connect to the Internet if the computer is not already connected.
    (b) click Start, right-click computer, and then click Properties
    (c) click on Device Manager
    (d) click on the plus sign (+) next to other devices.
    (e) if there is no reference to IEEE 1394, as Bus, right-click on the name host controller, and then select update.
    Method 2:
    Uninstalls and reinstalls the fire wire device driver.
    (a) to connect to the Internet if the computer is not already connected.

    (e) if there is no reference to IEEE 1394 controller Host Bus, right click on the name and select uninstall
