History of Firefox - it not COMPLETELY deleted right out of firefox
Took me to clear my browsing history when I leave firefox. And firefox the fact but not completely! When I re - open firefox, my historical Panel is clear; BUT when I start typing a URL where I was in the past (and it isn't in my favorites) firefox shows me the full URL before I type it completely. This means that the URL is always saved history somewhere!
I've disabled all my firefox extensions and always had this problem.
I encountered this problem in the last two versions of firefox (20 and 21)

It seems that Firefox has downloaded a document or image on the desktop. On the top bar, there is an icon - small arrow pointing down on a bar. When I click on than it does appear a history of my downloads (documents, photos, PDF files, etc...) NO software downloads). There seems to be many previous downloads in this window, they appear to be done, but NOT completed and are just hanging there in never never land. By clicking on the background element (3 articles), it opens a window called library. The second options left is downloading. These instructions tell you to click on the 'Clear downloads' on the top (next to organize) bar and it will delete all downloads. However, this clear downloads is gray. It seems there is no other means to clear this list. Any help would be appreciated...

Firefox 30.0 not completely clear memory Cache
I run the latest version of CCleaner before every time I put my computer to sleep or shut down and now after upgrading Firefox to 30.0 I noticed there are still files in the Cache of Firefox, which has not been deleted. I have my browser set to automatically erase my history. I noticed this before in other versions of Firefox that I've been updated, but went away when new patches are released.
That are probable images you see in the Windows Jump list that show if you click on Firefox on the Windows task bar.
You will need to disable the jump list if you don't want Firefox to generate these images.- topic: config page: browser.taskbar.lists.enabled = false

Firefox and Safari are not completely load some sites, but Chrome is. Why?
Tonight, I noticed that some Web sites have been does not completely load on firefox. I tried to use Safari to see if it was a firefox problem, but he had the same problem. However, when I loaded the sites on Google Chrome it worked fine.
I tried to reset firefox and clear cache, but it did not help so I uninstalled and reinstalled but it still doesn't load these web pages correctly. This just shows that constantly trying to load and pieces of the site are missing or broken. I'm on a Mac using Mountain Lion. I've updated the Java plug in, but it does not seem to have done anything to improve the situation.
Alternatively, you can try to disable IPv6.
You can try to reset (power off / on) of the router.

How can I delete my entire history on Firefox except for history to download?
I want to delete my browsing history, cookies and cache, but I want to keep my download history, all that.
I can't remember what version it is, but after update, I deleted my browser history and noticed that my download history has been eliminated up to a point, before the update. The last time I tried, I could delete my cookies and cache and my download history was untouched.
I see in the "clear recent history" dialog navigation and history of downloads are consider one thing. It wasn't a thing before.
I want to keep my download history but delete my browsing history, cookies and cache.
Go to the Options window > Panel Privacy > history session click use the customized for history > clear history of Firefox closing then settings button is active click it, and then click except download history or other things you want to keep it > click OK to save, exit firefox and restart.
Thank you

Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document.
This problem has been occurring for a day now and I honestly have no idea why, I followed the instructions. I've updated my camera raw and photoshop for the latest plugin. I am trying to open an avi file, but it won't open it. Lasts 4 seconds. Usually I was able but yesterday when I tried to open it, it says "Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document." Any suggestions because I'm doing the gifs, but I can't because photoshop won't let me open the avi file. file.

It seems the option to set the number of months (or weeks) to historical data which will be remembered are absent from the history section of the Firefox options. Is there a more indirect way to define how much Firefox history will remember, perhaps to about: config or so?
And incidentally, how history * fact * Firefox remember when I check "remember history"? I can't find where that is specified. I assumed he remembered all the sites I've ever visited, but back in the "Oldest of 6 months" folder in the history, I see that this is not the case. There are only a few dozen sites, whereas it should be hundreds (because I think that I never deleted history for about 2 years).
The current versions of Firefox keep a maximum number of page visited and have no limitation in time for the story.
Firefox automatically determines the number of pages can be kept without affecting performance. You can see the current value of the maximum value of the read-only pref places.history.expiration.transient_current_max_pages on the topic: config page.

You can open the topic: config page via the address bar.

I have three browsers such as Firefox 3.6.28. I run a book of Power Mac G4 with OS X 10.5.8
For security reasons, I installed a 'seal of text' and 'color' on Yahoo Mail.
For my two other browsers the attached text and color remain standing when I left everyone but for Firefox, when I delete the history or simply 'stop,' the next time I have try Yahoo Mail the seal of the text and the color were not saved.Of course, I don't have to use Yahoo on Firefox, but I would like to; always have.

Hello
Usually, the category is emptied when the range of the history is cleared. You can permanently remove the most visited by clicking right on it and deletecategory.
