Hits search engine - shortcuts for next/previous page?

It is probably more features than of problems, but I would start thinking here.

When you use a search engine (my favorite is multi-engine DogPile, URL below), usually there are a number of pages of results. At the bottom of each page, there are a limited number of page number links and the other for 'next' (maybe one for "previous").

This may well depend on the specific encoding used on the site. But is it a shortcut that works almost anywhere to activate the link "next" without actually scrolling for her?

    Hello

I host and I like drawing with Photoshop paint tools, but to animate I need to "flip" - which is just quickly move from one drawing to the next, as you would with sheets of paper size: hunting and clicking the arrows is not feasible.

Shortcut keys, or assignable buttons for previous and next images in the animation - or, more simple, for the previous and following layers function keys - would solve this problem completely.  This improvement could make Photoshop a viable animation program, in competition with paper plastic and Flipbook Animation.

Is there at least a way I can download an add-on that would do this?

    Thank you

Search.US.com took my hone page and everything else he can. I tried all the suggestions allotted to me by the help section. I went up to delete cookies. It's very invasive. I looked to re-establish the system but have few options for recovery points and they do not include the download of search engine. I removed the add on it came with as well. I had removed the search engine in Add/Remove programs and was stupid when he asked if I wanted the restored default settings. I said no. I fear that I am pretty stupid when it comes to software. I hope someone can help me. Thank you for your time in this matter. PS I put what I thought was relevant in the bottom box. I had not seen this before. I tried to change it, but could not.

First of all, you should be able to reset your home page in the following dialog box:

Orange Firefox button or classic menu Tools > Options > general > getting started section

If that restores the next time, you have probably some other cleanup to do.

If you prefer to use the built-in Firefox homepage, this module can help rewire the Google search field:

  • How to make Navigation to the next/previous page in the hierarchy of plan?

I have a site that I'm redoing Muse:

    Poetry by Dorothy V. Corson

There is a navigation element, I don't see a way to do this by using master pages and navigation widgets.  If you go to the site, you will see a common element at the bottom of each page that looks something like this "< Previous Page |   Content |   Volume 1 |   "Next >".

Is it possible to set up the previous/next links, so they'll automatically adjacent pages as they are installed in the Site map hierarchy?  I hope that this doesn't have to be done manually on each page.  And reorganize the site plan would fix previous/next links automatically.

It seems that all the information is here, because the horizontal menu widget already knows how to generate a menu that contains ALL the adjacent pages.  What I need is a widget that allows me to specify only the previous and next pages.  In the example above, "previous" page link to the left in the hierarchy, 'next' for the page to the right, Volume 1 connect up to the parent page and the content would be a link to a specific page.

The menu existing widgets seem to have access to the entire site hierarchy, so I guess it's possible to have a widget that would do this.  If one does not already exist, is there a guide on how to create one myself?

I hate to tell you, but I don't know any widget out there that does this. I do all mine manually, sorry

  • Shortcuts "Next Page" and "Previous Page" does not?

Acrobat Pro 9.4.5 the keyboard shortcut for "Next Page" is "Right arrow" and the keyboard shortcut for 'Previous Page' is 'left arrow '. On my system, these shortcuts work normally for the text of PDF files, but for PDF image only (that is, a PDF file including only digitized images) these shortcuts only 'push' a page of image slightly to the side. Everyone is faced with this problem?

I think it's related to something else, namely the zoom level. If you see a zoom level, where the width of the page is more than your window (IE when there is a horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the window), then the straight arrows will control this scroll bar rather than function as shortcuts next/previous page.

  • Can I put in start page for Firefox with a different search engine, not Google?

I remove all things 'Google' from my computer. I want the Start Page for Firefox, because I can get to options, modules, etc. and I don't want to lose this.

Easier is to select the preferred search engine in the search bar on the Navigation toolbar to see the name of this search engine in the pref browser.search.selectedEngine and copy its value to the browser.search.defaultenginename pref.

Firefox should use this search engine on the subject: home page after a closing and restarting Firefox.

If this isn't the case, then you can have an extension which is predominant, especially if the pref change.

  • All my research are back in the search engine Yahoo finder without danger.

All my research are back in the search engine Yahoo finder without danger.  I ran the fixes suggested in other threads with the same problem, but I still get Yahoo search results.  Google is my selected search engine.

I noticed that the problem happens when I type my research in space on the search page itself.  This search page looks a bit like a page from Google, but there no links etc than Google does.  Instead, he has "SearchTech" downstairs (with Contact, privacy and terms). If I type my research topic in the menu bar the results come back in Google.

I confirmed that my favorite search engine is Google. Previously I ran LaunchAgents and LaunchDaemons and removed three files to those who had been loaded on my computer today.  I checked the extensions are that there is not.

Your search engine has been redirected due to malware or the downloading.

You can use the free Malwarebytes utility to remove it.

    Then click on download.

  • How can I get information on a search engine installed?

I want to see what exactly search engines I installed, for example by seeing the page add-on from the respective search engine. How can I do this?

Which does not exist in Firefox for searches on the search bar or to the plugins you have installed. Look on the Internet using a search engine if you need comments. Or on the search engines home & support pages for features and descriptions.

Details of the research that I mentioned is simply the code to make the research available and is conveniently divided into a file by search engine and therefore lists the available search engines. For example, the default is Google. Even with your plugins, they are third party definition software, but in the case of the plugins YOU have installed and selected.

You can add searches Mycroft (http://mycroftproject.com/search-engines.html) as mentioned in the article linked, and they at least kinds for most downloaded. Even if you use addons hosted on addons.mozilla.org where you will see reviews and ratings.

  • How do I change search engine in a new tab?

When you usually open a new tab or just write in the URL thing it uses google as a search engine, but for me firefox uses bing, and I wish I had the google one. Is tehre a way to change it back?

When I open a new tab, it appears in the URL:
    Search.conduit.com/?CTID=CT3315513 & octid = EB_ORIGINAL_CTID & SearchSource = 69 & CUI = & SSPV = & Lay = 1 & UM = 4 & UP = SPD9100A02 - 061A - 49A 8 - 8E31 - D1689B72C458

You can check in "Windows Control Panel > programs ' recently installed programs see if something Conduit or any other suspicious software appears.

You can use the SearchReset extension to reset preferences to default values.

Note that the SearchReset extension runs only once and then uninstalls automatically, so it will not appear on the page "> Firefox Add-ons" (topic: addons).

You can open the topic: config page through the address bar and to search for the prefs that refer to 'intermediate' and reset set user prefs ("BOLD") through the context menu on the default value.

If you do not keep the changes after a reboot or have problems with preferences, see:

  • Topic: search engine at home, how can I change to DuckDuckGo?

I want to be able to use the DuckDuckGo search engine on the subject: config page, but I have tried everything and I can't make it work.

    I tried the following:
    1. create a new Firefox profile with all of the default settings, without extensions, plugins, custom settings, NOTHING.
2 fact DuckDuckGo my search engine by default in the search box
    3. check these settings in all: config

    browser.search.selectedEngine; DuckDuckGo
    Browser.Search.Order.1; DuckDuckGo
    Browser.Search.defaultenginename; DuckDuckGo

I restarted the browser several times and all I get is a completely insensitive search on the subject box: home page. Nothing happens when I click on the button Search, after that I put browser.search.defaultenginename to DuckDuckGo.

  • Search engine Chatzum installed on Firefox. How can I remove it

Chatzum is installed on Firefox.and appears as search engine by default whenever I open a new tab. It does not appear in the list of enhines research or as an add-on. Can you suggest how to remove it

Considering that Firefox 13 does not show a "search engine" in a new tab page, I will assume that you have changed Subject: newtab to on: House to the new tab page.

With the topic: Home page loaded, paste this into the address bar and press ENTER.
