Home pages won't load - error 404 see attached image file
When I open FF homepages (for example) appear in the address bar: http://192.168.1.254/ez.ezs?ez_url=,www.telegraph.co.uk/ & ez_ip = http://192.168.1.254/ , instead of http://www.telegraph.co.uk. Removal of the URL 'scrambled' and retyping the right pair are the result in the same error. 192.168.1.254 is of course the address of my router. Any help much appreciated.
I think that it is a recorded preference which may have been detected since Firefox automatically. You have a host or PAC file that is still on your computer after you change the network connection? If this isn't the case, clear the cache and cookies, How to clear Firefox cache, change your homepage back and change network settings advanced "No. Proxy" Advanced panel - accessibility, navigation, network, updates and other settings in advanced Firefox

The pages won't load right not and error OSCP
I'm having two issues probably related. The first is that Firefox is oddly loading some pages: e.g. addons.mozilla.org while in other browsers that they load fine. The second is that some pages not be loading not at all like the https://addons.cdn.mozilla.net/storage/public-staging/3682/add_to_search_bar-2.2-fx.xpi which gives me this strange error
"Secure connection failed".
An error occurred during a connection to addons.cdn.mozilla.net. The OCSP response is not yet valid (contains a date in the future). (Error code: sec_error_ocsp_future_response)The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem. Alternatively, use the command found in the help menu to report this broken site.".
Yet once again, I don't have this problem with other browsers - unless you count waterfox who has these same problems that probably should since it is built off the coast of firefox. I tried to uninstall and reinstall and clear the cache and cookies, none of this has had no effect. These two problems started at the same time. Seems to me to get the problem loading error on all XPI links, or at the very least, I saw, for instance, I had to grasp the info manually troubleshooting because when I clicked on the link to automatically add it got the same error (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/downloads/latest/426841/addon-426841-latest.xpi) but it is not only get links that contains .xml files for example I first noticed the problem a similar site to the newsletter, I wish I could understand the name or even had my story, so I could find it. I don't know if the problem is limited to https or not because at the point where I had the addon https only and don't have it test the reinstallation. I looked in the settings of validation and the first 'use the OSCP to confirm the validity of the certificates' but the second one "when oscp server fails to treat the certificate as invalid has been unchecked. I unchecked the first box and I still don't have the same error that really baffles me.

Can I stop a new tab to open on my home page when I load Firefox to my office?
When I load Mozilla Firefox my homepage loads OK but a new tab loads also with ' search or enter addresses in the space of the url where an address must be typed. When I click on the information on the general tab Page address for the new tab is chrome://ntsd-a/content/newtab/newtab.html. I don't want the new tab to load automatically. How can I stop this action?
Enter about: preferences in your search bar and check to see what your home page. back to the just in case where. Restart firefox to check if the tab opens.
Try firefox shift-click to launch. see if this tab always opens. If not, this means that there are a few add-on do this. Enter about: addons and see what addon could do that.
If she does not always just clear the cache or refresh firefox it should be resolved. -
flow of the home page does not load
At the start of Skype does not load the home page stream, everything works fine but right of my contacts list is just a blue cirle which is quite annoying to see all the time rotating page loading. Home page fodder used to work properly, I tried to uninstall and re install, but nothing is, everyone has ideas how to cure this?
Try to uninstall the currently installed version and install the 6.1.0.129 old version using this msi installer:

After installing this version, be sure to turn off the automatic updates:

Home page of Firefox loads when opening new tabs
Greetings!
When I open a new tab (add) in Firefox, the new tab automatically load my start (home) page. He is an annoying "feature" when I open the page to insert an address because the address of the start page is present, resulting in the need to remove it from the address bar. This was not the case in previous versions of Firefox. Is there a setting to fix this? In other words, I'd like to open a 'blank' page when opening a tab, but I don't want a blank page appears at startup.
Thank you.
California.Cyclist
These are actually separate settings internally, unless you use an add-on to replace.
Here's how you can change your new tab page:
(1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.
(2) in the search above the list box, type or paste newtab and make a pause so that the list is filtered
(3) double-click the preference browser.newtab.url and enter your favorite page:
- (Default) page thumbnails = > subject: newtab
- Blank tab = > subject: empty
- Built-in Firefox homepage = > topic: welcome
- Any other page = > full URL of the page
Press Ctrl + t to open a new tab and check that it worked. Fixed?
If the problems persist, some potential diagnoses and remedies:
If Firefox will not let you change this setting: you can have what is called SearchProtect on your system. This must be removed the control panel.
Firefox if allows you to save your changes, but he doesn't know: one of your extensions may be the substitution of her. You can consult, disable and/or remove extensions on page modules. Either:
- CTRL + SHIFT + a
- "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, take a critical look on the list on the right and turn off (or remove) something unknown.
If the modification works during your session, but during the next startup is return to the unwanted page: you could have a user.js file in your personal settings Firefox (your Firefox profile folder). This article describes how to track down and delete the file: How to fix preferences that will not save.
A little luck?

My web pages do not load in Firefox if I try my favorites, or by typing the web address.
They load fine in Chrome or Explorer.
Here's what happens: no matter how I choose to go to a web page (bookmark, type web address to search) I see the "connecting...". "in the tab for a few seconds and nothing. The tab refers to the "Mozilla Firefox Start Page".
Here is what I tried:
Reboot in safe mode with disabled modules
Reseting Firefox
Reinstall of Firefox
Restart the computerOne possible cause is security software (firewall, antivirus) that prevents or limits Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.
Delete all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container in the permissions list in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

My pages please scroll to see all the content. I don't want to scroll on home pages, comments, or contacts, but I want to scroll pages with thumbnails.
For example this page:
http://megancampagnolo.com/loves.html
How can I solve this problem?
Widget slideshow on the page seems to be pinned and pinned items are not considered part of the content of the scroll bar.
Then, select the slideshow in design widget and unpin it.

Everything suddenly when the yahoo homepage support any of the images on the page are visible. This has never been a problem in the past. I tried the previously recommended fixes, such as clear, clear cookies, caching, updating firefox, etc. I even tried to delete the Chamber of combustion and redownloaded/reinstalled but still have the problem.
What antivirus security software do you have?
In this thread, Avast has been identified as the cause of a similar problem.

When I want to log on to Facebook, the page does not load correctly. Facebook and the Mozilla help page have this problem. YouTube, for example, is quite ok. I deleted cookies and caches, I uninstalled the browser, I refresh it, but none of the solutions worked. Help, please.
Hi, in case, you're an avast user, please try to disable https scanning in avast:
- Open the Avast dashboard on an affected system.
- Select settings in the left side menu.
- Adopt a Protection Active.
- Click on customize next to the Web Shield.
- Uncheck the option "Enable HTTPS analysis", and then click ok.

Home page does not load correctly
My home page is my.yahoo.com and is listed as homepage under Options > general. This address is my custom Yahoo page. FF v. 21 (just updated yesterday) at the start of the generic version of My Yahoo begins with the URL http://my.yahoo.com/?_bc=1. So, whenever I start FF I manually connect to Yahoo to get my custom start page. I check the box to remember me, but to no avail. I have enabled cookies.
Never had this problem until the update. Any ideas?
To view the history settings and cookies, choose:
- Tools > Options > privacy > Firefox will be: "use the custom settings for history".

Operating system is windows xp sp3 32-bit
home page is currently "My Yahoo", although it doesn't seem to matter which is my home page.
browser is IE8
Three options.
1: take the corners of the window and drag it to the format full screen. Do not use to expand. Close all other windows first via the taskbar and the latter. Windows will remember the size of the last closed window the next time that you open the program.
2: any shortcut you use to launch the window, right-click, and select Properties. Under the 'Run' drop-down list, choose "expanded".

Hello
1. What is the exact error message that you receive?
2 have had any changes made to your computer before this problem?
Please, try the following methods and check if it helps:
Method 1:
Follow these steps in the following article.
Can't access some Web sites in Internet Explorer
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/967897
Note: Reset the Internet Explorer settings can reset security settings or privacy settings that you have added to the list of Trusted Sites. Reset the Internet Explorer settings can also reset parental control settings. We recommend that you note these sites before you use the reset Internet Explorer settings.
Method 2:
Follow the steps to clear the DNS.
1 click on the 'Start' button and choose ' run.» Or, press the Windows key and the "R" key at the same time.
2 enter the letters "cmd" in the "Run" box and hit the 'Enter' key.
3. type "ipconfig/flushdns" in the window that appears. Be sure to leave a space between the 'G' and the slash. Press the Enter"" key. When you see a message that says: "properly emptied the Cache of DNS resolution", you are finished.
