Horizontal line going through random pages printed by LaserJet P1102w

From time to time, I see my P1102w print pages with a small horizontal stripe. This happens only on a single page (not the one just before or just after). I looked in the manual and don't see in the troubleshooting section.

I doubt that there is toner low, such that it has less than 1000 pages are printed on the current toner.

Any suggestions?

HP LaserJet p1102w

Nothing on this page that you linked to, adapted to my problem.

I just changed a new toner, and after 75 pages or more, I have yet to see this horizontal line randomly. It was printing on pages 5 to 8 or more, then it is a fairly representative sample.

It is strange, however, assuming that it is the toner. I got about 1000 pages out of it, maybe less, but it is a bit disappointing. I put in when I am done with this new toner, just to get my money, but still...

At the front of the printer, you will need access the MENU via the LCD screen. Scroll to REPORTS and click ok, then scroll down to the configuration page and click ok. At this point, it should display a page of test/config auto with detailed info printer including the number of pages since its installation.
  • Cannot turn off Double-sided printing on LaserJet P1102w!

So I just installed this LaserJet P1102w and I absolutely cannot understand how to disable two-sided printing. It's really annoying because even when I try to print only a one page document he sucks a blank page, does not print anything on it and then told me to return the document to print the other side of this one. Sometimes it prints also a Hewlett-Packard test page or something that wastes the toner. I have gone through with a fine tooth comb printing preferences and cannot find a way to turn it off. There is nothing in the user guide on how to disable it. Scan doctor said there is nothing wrong with the printer. I tried to download some sort of aid to this site and is not compatible with this operating system I guess. I've lost hours trying to figure this out and there is no way to call and speak to a human, I guess. I want it out. Can someone please help me and tell me how to disable? It's wasting toner, my time and it's extremely frustrating. Thanks in advance for any help.

Check that the Mode of Duplex in device settings setting in properties P1102w is OFF.

The specifications indicate that your HP LaserJet P1102w can be performed wirelessly or via USB.

    There is no Ethernet connection.

  • Horizontal lines that appear randomly in the Pages document. How to remove?

The lines are a dark gray, almost black. They often appear when reformatting a line or paragraph. I hope there is a way to remove and prevent them.

Oops. Looks like it was an automatic paragraph border turned on somehow. I eliminated it by updating the style of text 1 with borders defined as 'none '.

  • Animate a line - going through the frame and turning 90 degrees

    Hello

I would like to animate a line coming from the top of the image down and half, I want that he turn 90 degrees and continue on the left to the right side of the frame. A good example of this is here: last week tonight - and now this compilation - YouTube

My first attempt: make a shape layer, has drawn a line with the pen tool and added the paths of toppings. I tried to add the effect in the turn of 90 degrees, but the effect does not appear convincing fluid for me.

I think the problem is that rotation, the front point of the line for moving, but really, this must remain in the same position (let's say the Center) and the rest of the line must turn so to speak.

So second attempt: I tried to animate the shape-path this kind of work, but I always end up accidentally change in appearance (thickness) of the line (if this is the way to achieve this effect, I'm sure I can solve this problem although). Also, this means I have to animate the movement towards the front of the line vs. just using the trim road.

What I was asking: is there a simpler way to do it? I want to seek to convince, i.e. have the line moving fluidly on the screen.

    Thank you!

    I use CS6.

I would forget shape layers, and I would use the traces of mask on solids.  You can then use wither STROKE or Write-On effects to make the lines

  • Multi-page printing on Laserjet 1102w

I use a HP Laserjet Pro printer of 1102w wireless on a home network.  The operating system is Windows 7 (64-bit).  A computer print very well and the other prints multiple pages of a single page document.  I checked the settings and I can not just understand what is the cause.  I tried to uninstall the printer and the software and reinstalled.  He moved so easily and that a page will be printed when you do a test page, but if I print from Word, I get as much as 50 and as low as 10, but never just.

If someone is familiar with this printing problem, please get back to me as soon as possible.

    Thank you!

  • Poor quality HP 7520 and horizontal lines

I recently bought a HP Photosmart 7520, some printed photographs and was very happy with the results.  I was already part of a series of photographs printed approximately two weeks ago and decided to print another.  The result was poor with horizontal lines, getting more lowest wide printing.   I feel like a sheet of foolscap.  I went in thinking tests align printer and print quality verification and they looked very good.  Another test print is perhaps worse.

The printer reports that my ink black print, not the photo, became weak.  All the other inks were very good.

I checked your question and answers and therefore decided to uninstall and reinstall the printer I have this week had an upgrade to broadband and thought that there is a problem.  This task achieved I did the self test as requested and the result was first class, but it was of course on the smaller size paper.

An impression more away from the same photograph was worse before she looked like a negative, but in color and with only skin correct tones.

I would appreciate your help as I just upgraded to print photographs as old man... was excellent for doing everything else.

    Hi Salty39,

Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience! To help you get the most out of the Forums of HP, I would like to draw your attention to the Guide of the Forums HP first time here? Learn how to publish and more.

Sorry to hear that you are having problems with the print quality of your print output.  I see that you said that you have recently purchased this unit. I was wondering if you are still using the configuration supplied with the printer cartridges? If so, please note that these ink cartridges are designed only for a limited number of printing just to set up the printer and if you do photo printing, photo, use a good amount of ink. Please also note that HP printers have built in surge protector and if you have the printer connected to a power strip/bar, the printer will not get all the power it needs to function properly and cela could be another reason why you are having quality problems. Here is a document that explains the problems when connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power.

Please respond with an operating system that you run and I'll be happy to find more resources about it if the steps that I have outlined have not solved the problem.

  • Problem with the HP Laserjet p1102w printer

    Hello

I have the problem that my printer HP LaserJet p1102w (wireless) still print on the same page, no matter what I send to print. Curretly I can't print at all because every time when I turn on the printer starts infinitely print the same page...  I tried to reinstall the drivers, but it did not help.

How can I solve this problem? Can I do hard reset somehow?

Thanks in advance for any help with this problem!

You don't mention whether or not you have recently installed your printer on a network, but this is a HP document that answers your question, once the product is installed on a network of troubleshooting.  Please let me know if it helps.

  • Shows HP LaserJet 3330 horizontal lines exactly each 1.5 "when you print a completely blank page

HP LaserJet 3330 shows seven or eight approximately 3.5 "cloudy horizontal lines spaced exactly each 1.5" even when you print a completely white page. This also happens when copy and fax.

There are also 2 very thin vertical lines running down the entire page about in the middle. They are exactly 1 "apart.

However, a scan of a blank page on my computer (not printed) is perfectly clean.

Windows 7. No change or upgrade.

Propbably the toner cartridge, if they are 1.48 "apart that it could be the cylinder in the process of development or the charge roll who are both in the toner cartridge. So a good assumption if you replace the toner cartridge, the problem will disappear. Vertical lines could also be part of this issue.
