Hot Spot question slide

I use 9 Captivate and my hot spot question has two hot spots: Yes or no. How can I make sure the user, just click either Yes or no, not both. It defeats the purpose of the question when there are animations that are glued on the two hot spots, and you cannot remove them.

Please help :)

You will need a question slide custom hotspot, not the default value that is too limited. I never use it myself. There is not really your use case described in this article, but it can offer you a few ideas anyway:

  • Creating a hot spot question

I am wanting to create a hot spot question. I have an image that I created for this question. I've identified "hot spots" on the image and when I preview the issue, hot spots are already identified before the user clicks top. I will use this issue to test the attention of person with ability to detail. Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

    hot spot.jpg

Erik, it is a matter of default access point, the hot spots have a default setting with a stroke of 1 p in blue. You must make this race 0 for width make the invisible race.

Select the hot spot, open the properties panel and set the width of the stroke to 0. If you wish for all the hot spots, you can save the style as default style, using the diskette icon just beneat Style (second icon from the left)

  • Hot spot question type

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know why hot spot issues are limited to 10 hot spots? Maybe we need a feature request to remove the limit?

Why not to create a personalized question, using transparent forms (can have any shape, unlike the traditional hotspots)? You can have as much as you want.

  • Hot spot quiz questions keep coming back to point original hot location.

Hello. I develop a course Adobe Presenter 8 which contains a certain point hot quizzes with many options for users to click (we do not have time or money to do the simulation so it was the "fix").

Whenever I have to 'Manage the Quiz' is editing the manifest, or a quiz etc, it resets my reactive quiz at the original location inserted Adobe. I've been making small to contain a detailed image and duty resize several hot spots over and over again is frustruating.

If anyone else has encountered this before? And if so, how you solved this problem?

    Thank you very much!

I do have trouble-shooted finally my problem! Some of the questions hot spot missing identifiers 'Hot Spot 1' so to speak and those who have been those who have been reset. I named each hotspot again and now this problem has been resolved.

    Thank you!

  • Is there a limit on the number of hot spots, that we can include on a screen?

Is there a limit on the number of hot spots, that we can include on a screen? I'm putting in about 25, but it is defaulted to 10?

Hot point quiz questions are indeed limited in the number, you can have on a slide.

When it comes to normal blades, using ordinary boxes by clicking, you could easily have 25 or more, but then your score will be much more complex and it will not be a true quiz question.  Each separate click box can be set up to score separately.

  • Hot spots that actually work?

I am frustrated beyond here. I tried to get a hotspot question slide to work for more than an hour now. (Can you say, "Loss of productivity"?) Tried everything logic. Made of the hot spot larger, smaller, deleted the slide and recreated, disabled compression project, added/subtracted other hot spots, checked my hotspot is marked as the hot spot 'Correct', enabled the "show in the pointer", added images different and tried fused/not fused with background and other things I don't know I don't forget. Help! I need to work for my small business. It's something simple I forget here? Or they simply do not work?

Received a response from my Bug report:

    Hi Brian

It is a known with Captivate 3 bug seen with Fp 10. Please note that this works if you preview in the browser and also view the published content. The solution is to roll back to Fp 9.

    Sorry for the inconvenience caused

    Thank you

  • hot spot sleeping Mac Pro not working

After the installation of El Capitan, I find that I can start is no longer the screen saver slide show, although the hot spot / corner functions properly to begin the Mission control, table edge, Notification Center, office and Application Windows. It also makes display sleep, so everything EXCEPT run the screen saver works.

The version of the OS is 10.11.5.

Open system preferences > desktop and screen saver > select screen saver > do you have the first definition after FOREVER. If yes change in 5 minutes and check the show box with clock.

Select the screen saver > click Preview and select shuffle slide order.

  • Certificate for the hot spot ISE error

We have just install an ISE Server (Version 1.3.0.876) and that you have set up a hot spot for guest users portal. Everything on the Portal works fine, however! The question that we run is, we installed a public cert signed by a public CA (Starfield CA), but when you can go to the EULA page on the ISE server, they get an error the path of certificate cert becomes not filled. I watch the cert that it gets, and the path contains only the issued cert, not the case there are on it. (I think that cert requests the browser to go to a site to download the latest public certification for the issued cert)

I can work around this in order to allow this IP address he strikes in the ACL on the WLC, but I would simply like to have deliver ISE cert WITH public cases that's just in case the IP changes, or it is actually hitting a VIP and it comes to be responsive would be.

Does anyone know how this is done?

    I tried the following:

From the cert out of ISE, added public certification in the server certificate and added to the ISE, no luck. (I can this is done properly, let me know if this should have worked)

Added the case public in ISE and self-confidence, no luck with either.

Let me know! Thank you guys!

Good job to fix the problem and for taking the time to post back here! (+ 5 from me).

What is interesting is that the ISE should warn you and automatically restart the server when a new HTTPs certificate is installed. I wonder if this behavior may be changed with the last patch/version. In both cases, glad your problem is solved!

Now, you must mark the thread as "answered" :)

  • Stop playing for hot spots

Captivate 9, I have a slide with 6 hotspots, each linked to an external resource and a next button. I want the user to click on all, some or none of the links they want, and then click next to move on.

But it does not work like that. Looks like that when they click on an external link second, the slides without them ever clicked Next. Why? I tried to create a hotspot hidden with Pause project until user clicks, but it doesn't seem to change anything.

I have hot spots to keep a project of game with infinite attempts. I have the next button for infinite and timed attempts to take a break at the end of the slide.

Subscribe to the option "continue playing project." Have all the hot spots-

which are probably forms used as buttons - pause at the same time. Break

the next key can be same time or later.

  • Hot spots

I tried to figure out how to hotspots and I even looked in the field help in the program and sought here on the forums and I couldn't find it myself how to create hot spots. If someone could just point me in the right direction, where the tool is that I can mess around with it, myself I hope to learn to use it and have more specific questions about it if I need it.

Search F1 help on the hotspot of Word.

Select the image and look in the lower left corner of the extended properties
    Inspector for hotspot tools.

Note: you cannot apply links hotspot of background images.

  • ASM actively to avoid hot spots and make copies of archived newspapers?

    Hi all

I have two small question, I hope.

1 ASM avoid hot spots of rebalancing active files, or the re - balance does when records are added and deleted? I believe that ASM is not "actively" hot spots in this way, simply avoids through its design, i.e. striping of files/entries across all the LUNS in a disc of the group, but need to confirm my manager.

2 using external redundancy, ASM does make copies of the archived redo logs?

    Thank you
    Stuart

ASM avoids implicitly "hotspots" using the SAME methodology to strip everything on all the disks in the disk group, you are the answer is Yes. A rebalancing operation is necessary when the disks are added or removed from the disk group, if the number of disks does not change then the files will be always balanced on these discs (hope makes sense).

External redundancy faces ASM does nothing with the creation of redundant copies of all files, external redundancy means that you use RAID protection at the level of storage (e.g. RAID1), so ideally all data written to the asm disks is reflected at the level of storage on redundant disks in the RAID group. With external redundancy, the only way ASM will write two copies of a newspaper to check is if you tell the database to write in two places on ASM disks.

  • Can I connect a printer with a verizon 4G mobile hot spot

I currently travel extensively and before buying a printer, I would like to know if it is possible to support a printer through my Verizon 4 G mobile hot spot?  My other devices, including an HP laptop work fine, including an IPAD 2.  If it is possible, what model x should be?

    dpinmsue,

If you travel and take the hotspot and the printer with you, I would probably recommend the HP Photosmart D110a or the HP Photosmart Plus B210a just because these are two of the smaller printers ePrint capable so that they are the most suitable for travel.

Just to remind, however, the hotspot technology is very new in retrospect. Although we have seen some success, so it is difficult to say that you will see success with all the hot spots in general.

  • e-bike has wifi hot spot

    e-bike has wifi hot spot?

It can, but it is bearing load and may require a subscription, so check to decide on a version and the carrier.

If the people return, working on a support, it would be good to post here.

  • How do I set up Windows mail to work with an iphone5 in mode 'hot spot' as the internet connection.

My internet is now via an iphone5 used as a hot spot.  How can I set up Vista "windows mail" to use with this? I've always used Windows mail when I had a high traditional rural snail speed dial and would still do that?  Thanks for any help you can offer!

The hotspot just iPhone connects you to the Internet, the e-mail application does not really know the difference (as much as he knows, he might as well be a Starbucks WiFi at the coffee shop).

It seems that you are properly connected to the hotspot, but that your e-mail program is not configured to download emails to iCloud.  Your hotspot is actually not related to that.  The mail app will download mail, regardless of how you connect to the web.

To set up your e-mail to iCloud program, you'll want to go to the account options in the e-mail software and add your iCloud account.

See: How to add or remove a Windows mail account

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/add-or-remove-a-Windows-mail-account

While you are on this page, do not forget knowledge more under the "Add account, end to end", which includes images and examples to help you set up the account.

After that, you should start getting your email into the Windows Mail program.

According to the subjects. I would like to install a N router that is able to have 2 hot spots. 1 will be open to all and the other will be broadcasting with security enabled. The reason why I need this Setup is that I want to offer a point of public access for guests, but I still want a private wireless network that only staff sees and can access.

Bravo and thank you for your help!

Yes, each group has a separate SSID and security settings.
