I try to install a program (software bug) with a download on the internet which is used and installed it with this link by a lot of people and I think that comes from a reliable source. But when I try to load it, I get a message from the Data Execution Prevention (DEP) section of my Windows XP that says it's close Windows Explorer and then my desktop is disabled, and the only way out of this mess for seems to be to ctrl-alt-del and log off.

Make sure that you update your PC and installed the latest service pack for Windows (if any).

I recommend you contact the support of this program, this problem could be known.

Also, you can try adding the software exception.

    Hello

    · What is read the popup?

    · What service pack is installed on the computer?

Data Execution Prevention (DEP) is a security feature that can help prevent damage to your computer from viruses and other security threats. Harmful programs can try to attack Windows by attempting to run (also known as execute) authorized the code from the locations of memory system reserved for Windows and other programs. Hi Robhofm,

Usually the Data Execution Prevention (DEP) automatically monitors Windows programs and services. You can increase your protection by having DEP monitor all programs.

For the program being stopped by DEP, you will receive an error message indicating the cause of the stop and the name of the program.
