If F is not available, then it is used by the system for something else.  Check disk management to see if you can find it.  If it is not, and is not available in the list, I'm afraid, you will not be able to change until find you what is using drive letter F and remove it, or change it to something else.

  I hope this helps.  If this isn't the case, after return and we will try to understand what is using F or why it is not available.

  The drive must be formatted with a GUID partition map, your's with a Master Boot record.

  As far as I know this unit has 3 control buttons of Toshiba.
  1. Internet button-> to start Internet Explorer
  2 button Toshiba Console-> to start the Toshiba Console
  3. TV button-> to start Tv
  I think that it of not possible to configure one of the buttons to start the media player.
  To my knowledge it of only possible to select the applications that you want to use with media types.
  Please check these settings in the properties of controls on Toshiba.

  When you insert the DVD in your DVD player... close
  all the windows that can open and then go to... Start /.
  Computer... right click the icon for the DVD player

  The files you need from the DVD are the. VOB files.
  You will find them in the VIDEO_TS folder. Copy them
  in a folder on your hard drive. Or you can copy the
  full VIDEO_TS folder.

  First... just try to rename one of the. VOB files to
  . MPG or. AVI and see if it will matter in Movie Maker.
  If import works... drag the file to the timeline and
  Economy/publication it to .wmv or .avi format. Then...
  Re - import new video film for editing purposes.
  (if you have Vista Home Premium or Ultimate, you)
  may be able to import the VOB files in Movie Maker
  as they are)

  (FWIW... you can probably play the files renamed
  in Windows Media Player to be sure that VOB
  file to edit)
