Hello
Some antivirus/security products may cause this error. McAfee, Norton, Windows Live OneCare.
ThreatFire are some. What antivirus/antispyware/security products you have on machine now. And
who have you ever on it, even if you have uninstalled them. (These leave the remains that can cause some)
strange questions.)
Start - type in the search-> find abuse at top box - click on - RUN AS ADMIN
Service set to AUTOMATIC (delayed start) Security Center and BEGAN to
Chech also the serices dependent as below.
References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.

I can't activate the Windows Security Service
When I was looking for in the Center of the Action, he said that the Windows Security Center Service is disabled. But when I click the activate now button, I get this message saying box this service the Windows Security Center can not be started
Help, please!
Many benefits will never say "install Norton or McAfee on a work computer", and I agree (someone here even has that as his signature).
Please, if you care about your computer at all... remove Norton or McAfee and use a program that does not expire or never need a subscription or a renewal. My recommendation: Microsoft Security Essentials. The same tool ForefrontSecurity to protect some of the largest companies in the world, but free for individuals. Updates automatically, never expires.

How can I reinstall the Windows Media Center Gadget on my PC with Windows 7, 64-bit?
How can I reinstall the Windows Media Center Gadget on my PC with Windows 7, 64-bit? I had left it one day and now I don't know where he is. I went into the control panel and tried to 'Restore the Gadget', but he said it was not something to restore. I don't know how to get the file from one account to another, if that's what I'm supposed to do. I just want to know how to get the original back that came when I downloaded Media Center for the first time (that I tried to do it again. "But it did not help at all).
Thank you.
It's actually pretty easy if you are in the control panel for programs
Control Panel - programs-
There is an element under the gadgets 'restore the desktop gadgets installed with windows' which includes Media Center gadget

Click 'Start' / right click 'Computer', select 'manage '.
In the maintenance window of the computer in the left pane, select "Services and Applications", in the drop-down list, select 'Services '.
In the right pane scroll 'Security Center', the 'Startup Type' column must be set to: automatic (delayed start). If its not set correctly, then right click, select 'Properties' and in the tab "Général" set the "Startup Type" "automatic (delayed start), click 'Apply' and 'OK'."
Now, restart your PC.

Windows Security Center service does not turn
Windows Security Center service does not turn
In the status bar on the lower right, a flag with a red cross appears. When I clicked it, a window has popped up - Action Center
He gave me an important alert to turn on Windows Security Center Service - when I pressed the button to do so, the following message appears:

Windows Security Center service cannot be started
I have some malware on my computer. It is gone now. I ran several scans with different products. No virus or malware are detected.
However, I get the error message "Cannot start Windows Security Center Services".
I tried all of the recommended patches. But none of them work.
When I try to start the Services of Windows Security Center, I get the error message
"Windows failed to start the service on local computer Security Center.
"Error 1068: the dependency service or group could start.
Also, when I start the computer, I get the message error "problem, from module 72e8044d.cpp is not found" I don't know if the error messages are related to the same problem.
I am running Windows 7.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.
Hello
Thanks for the reply.
Your computer was pre-installed with Windows 7?
If so, you may need to contact the manufacturer of your system to help in the exercise of upgrade on site.
If you have installed Windows 7 separately on the machine, you can perform the upgrade on the spot, using the Windows configuration files stored in DVD or USB.
Hope this helps, get back to us if you need further assistance for Windows.

Windows Security Center Service & Windows Update does not
I am running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. I have two problems.
- Windows Security Center service is turned off and will not turn on.
- Windows Update cannot check updates "because the service is not running.
I tried many patches that I found on the forums of Windows and nothing has worked. I have no virus and no malware on the system.
I appreciate all the new ideas! Thank you.
Symantec Endpoint Protection is installed and updated by our company server. Which covers the spyware.
For more assistance, contact your COMPUTER or SysAdmin.
PS: I think you'll find that Symantec Endpoint Protection is ineffective when it comes to detect & remove "spyware." Unlike Norton SOHO apps, MS does not include a component anti-spyware.
