How can I archive and back up my calendars? data disappear after one year

I find it problematic that all my calendar information disappear after a year. I don't want to have to repeat every year because it would be confusing in many cases, but I don't want to save the dates, places, etc. is there a way to archive and save it for later use? Thank you!
