How can I cange positions of the toolbars?
I reinstalled Firefox after my hard drive crashed and the position of the upper toolbar (open tabs) is higher than the bar of menus (?) and I prefer the tabs to be below the menu bar. In general, how to change the location of the bars.
In addition, the dark background is difficult for me to see and would get back to lighter I had before. So, how to customize the background of the bar colors?
There is an add-on very full which can customize many aspects of the interface, called Classic theme restaurateur. You can install it from the site of modules here:
To change the settings, you can use the Options button for the extension on the page modules. Either:
- CTRL + SHIFT + a
- "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then on the right side, find classic theme restaurateur.

Hi, open the 3-bar menu > customize, customize and if you can see the Bookmarks button, simply drag it to a toolbar and the location of your choice, then exit to save. If the button is not there, try clicking on default settings. More here - controls customize Firefox, buttons, and toolbars.

How can I get rid of these? I tried to install a previous version of Firefox, which has not helped at all. Apparently, Firefox can remember everything you have ever done because toolbars are still there. I really get off on sites web loading things on my computer without my permission. Please help, everybody!
VERY DANGEROUS as there are KNOWN security flaws that make it very likely your machine will become infected.
If you are not running 3.6.24 you update as soon as POSSIBLE. http://www.Mozilla.com/en-us/Firefox/all-older.html
If you actually run 3.6.8 you skip these instructions.
I wish I could share the bookmarks direct (from the bookmarks toolbar) - that is, the laptop allows to select bookmarks in the toolbar PC.

Do you mean the ToolTips that appear when you hover over a tool in the toolbar? He has no control, I think that turns off.
Do you mean the labels that may appear next to a tool. You turn turn that off by selecting view > toolbars > labels buttons > No. Labels.
I hate it and will never use.
Click the icon in the toolbar above to turn on or off.

I tried to uninstall the toolbar via Control Panel and change the settings of the browser and he temporarily worked a couple of times, but returned without the toolbar. Now a window opens and cannot be closed. "" It is said: ' change browser settings, an unknown change has been detected on your browser search settings: keep the current settings "or" I am aware that if this change and approve. I have 2 firefox access: one on the toolbar background and the other on the screen. This window prevents me from access Firefox to toolbar. It seems that very soon I will not access firefox more. I found a site that wants to remove it, but provides no identity: http://removal-tool.blogspot.com/2012/01/remove-funmoods-browser-extension.html is safe to try it?
Try to go into programs and features and uninstall the toolbar, and then restart. Run a Malwarebytes AntiMalware scan. You may need to re - configure your preferred homepage and default search engine.
I'm on a MacBook with very little screen space. I want to spend the annotation tools to the toolbar at the top. Is there a way to do this?

I don't want anything Yahoo and don't know how it happened again here.
A lot of software, particularly free software, will install toolbars from various companies. They are paid for it. You can choose during the installation process, but if you do not notice the installation will be automatically installed. To get rid of it, go to add-ins, and then click extensions. Find the yahoo toolbar, then click on the button 'delete '. The next time you start firefox it should have disappeared. Hope that works for you.
A new toolbar has appeared at the bottom of the screen when the BBC website. Links to footerroll.letssearch.com. Nothing appears in one of my modules, extensions or installed programs that could be causing it. There are a few others reports online as well but nothing yet on how to get rid of it.
Hello JCPo, please try to start firefox in SafeMode once and see if the problem occurs here also.
How can I get rid of the toolbar of Babylon? I followed all of the suggestions here: I'vw followed by assistance in the forums... But it's still there. W7 + FF15. 0
I uninstalled the program. I deleted all the registry entries. I deleted the Babylon of the top search engine on the page right.
I went in: config and reset each line with Babylon. I also tried to replace Babylon with google and then reset the entries of Babylon.
But Babylon entries always appear when I close firefox and reopen about: config.
One way that programs can insert parameters into the preferences of Firefox is to create a user.js file in your personal settings (AKA Firefox profile folder). To check that:
Help > troubleshooting information > "view file" button.
If you find a file named user.js
(1) rename it to something else
(2) back to Firefox, talk openly about: config and reset the entries of Babylon
(3) restart Firefox to see if you have emptied it
A little luck?
A Y! search engine on my tab toolbar too much of the tab.
Thanks Ed, to try to answer my query. Earlier, however, I discovered the solution. I went into modules and suddenly noticed that I had never seen before. Don't remember its title - he had to come with an Upgrade to FLV Applians that I had downloaded recently. Indeed, whenever you open a new tab, where normally you get "subject: vacuum", he showed a Yahoo! Search window. So I deleted the add-on, restart Firefox and presto - the search engine Yahoo! incriminated (on the tab bar) disappeared and the new tabs are now blank.
Thank you once again - problem solved!
How can I get rid of the toolbar of bookmarks on the left of the screen (not the one above)? Never had until recently and he takes my place of the window. Thank you, Michael!
