  Thank you very much for your suggestions! They finally gave me the direction I go solve the problems I had. Basically, the Mac Book Pro based Lightroom irdata files still had thumbnails. Once I removed the and redirected Lightroom external hard disk, smart previews of the external drive work when the player is well off the MBP. Much obliged.

  I was wondering if you have any suggestions on how to backup all the files content and related data of Lightroom that exists on the external hard drive to another external hard drive as a backup? Ideally, it would be great if I could be able to launch security HD since the Mac Book Pro and do the work of Lightroom with the backup image files and intelligent previews correctly. Thanks again.   How can I quickly set up and making a slide show of an album?  It took about 30 seconds to do in iPhoto.  HELP the ElCapitan photos is next to useless.  It is said: "You can quickly play a slide show of the photos in a collection or a moment." But it does not say HOW you can do this, or what a 'Collection' is indeed.

  I have over 9000 pictures meticulously organized into albums. I don't want to re - organize into "Collections" - whatever that is.  It would be certainly NOT fast.  I want to control the length of time that each photo and display format display. It would be nice to have the option - or not - to show captions.

  I don't want to set up a "project." Indeed only slideshow I put up as a 'project' in Photo failed because the photos have been posted for about a second - and I couldn't slow down. I use El Cap 10.11.4 on a Macbook Pro.

  Grateful for the advice on that.

  Most of the digital cameras... even cell phones, have an option for
  creation of video clips. MOV is the Format QuickTime video.

  So... instead of stillshots, you have created video clips. The
  best way I know to create even a shot of a video clip is
  for a screenshot. The resulting photo won't equal
  in its resolution of ordinary digital photos but it will be your
  best option.

  The free VLC Media Player can read your. MOV files
  and it has an option to make the screenshots and recording
  them in JPEG format in the folder of your choice.

  (FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)

  I have an iPhone 6 that I've had since October or November 2014, with 64 gigabytes of storage, iOS 9.3.2 I have never had any major problems with it. However, two days ago the phone restarted randomly. I thought much about it until yesterday, when the phone froze for a few moments, went black, then went to reboot screen (white screen with black Apple logo), became black, once again, went to the reboot screen, black again, reboot screen, then the lock screen. I could get into the phone at this point. He did this process several times, finally showing the form in image of iTunes, I did. Although I already have iOS 9.3.2,and iTunes said something about need to reinstall (or at least that's how I understood it), that I let him. I also did a backup of the phone. After that, it worked fine.

  Today, the phone froze, turned black and showed to the reboot screen. He does not get past this screen, although after only a few minutes, it becomes black and wakes again until what I hit the power button, in which case, it does the same thing. If I try a hard reset on reboot screen, the phone goes black and then instantly returns to the reboot screen.   I didn't something big with the software recently, except the wifi feature phone on and off and remove some unnecessary applications. Apple support could not help and recommended that I go to an Apple store, but I am unable to during at least a week.

  Other (yesterday): The phone is broken on the home screen once I logged on or through the app Stream team Bleacher report, although I don't know if it's the fault of the application or if, as is the app that I use most often, it's just more likely to plant here than on any other application. Today, the phone froze on the workflow of the team application and I was not able to access it from.
