  Thanks for your reply. I'll do some checking double and let you know what happens. I just printed page 36 of the User Guide, and it printed fine. The other document that did not print correctly was a form which I had filled out on the internet and then print a copy of what I had filled out. I'll try to print a page or two of my Mac Pages document and see if that print very well. I appreciate your comments. Thanks again.

  I can create the new layer, but when I try to draw the rectangle and change color, nothing is actually happening. It creates the layer but the layer doesn't change color.

  you are not changing the color of the layer (which is not really something), you make an object with a filling that will serve as your background. So what's going wrong here? the rectangle tool does nothing? or you can create a rectangle but can not change its fill?

  In addition, your statement "I only use the user administrator account" sounds like you are using the built-in account named Administrator.  It is a bad idea.

  You must create an account for daily use.  If you want to have a "computer administrator" privileges, you can do (although several security experts advise you not to connect to the Internet with an administrator account, I think that the vast majority of XP users do it anyway).

  If the built-in Administrator account becomes corrupted (happens), you will be in a much more difficult situation than if you had saved it "only emergency cases."

  You can rearrange the pages of a PDF document via the thumbnail pane in format Acrobat (Standard or Pro).  Simply open it from the left side, then slide - move individual pages or selections of pages you want.

  Adobe Reader doesn't have this capability.

  You can!  Head to the main parameters (on the left side of the editor) and then go to the Site Options.  There should be a tab that says "SOFTBOX for Images and you can change the style here.
