How can I check to see if my system and components are compatible with WINDOWS VISTA, given that the counsel is no longer available?
I use WIN XP as my main OS and I want to ugrade it for WIN VISTA Home Premium, but the ADVISOR WINDOWS VISTA is no longer available! How will I know if all my components are compatible with WINDOWS VISTA before I buy it?
Hello
You should check with the manufacturers of hardware and program
and use the Vista Compatibility Center
http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/compatibility/Windows-Vista/
and read the vista system requirements
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/products/system-requirements

But Microsoft sells more than Vista.
They switched to Windows 7
If you are lucky, you could always find a copy of Vista to your local computer repair store

I am running WINDOWS XP on my desktop and would like it ungrade to WINDOWS VISTA, but I don't know if all my devices are compatible with WINDOWS VISTA! I would like to upgrade my desktop computer for WIN 7, but it would take too many changes, so I'm going to update my laptop for WIN 7 and I have another laptop running WIN XP! So basically I want to have at least one of the three operating systems (XP, VISTA and WIN 7) on my different computers! WIN XP on my laptop older, WINDOWS VISTA on my desktop (currently in XP) and WINDOWS 7 on my laptop latest (running VISTA)! I just want to know how to find out if there is a way to see if all my components on my desktop are compatible with WINDOWS VISTA, but the Advisor WINDOWS VISTA is no longer available? I used the WIN 7 Advisor to check what is required for me to upgrade my desktop PC to WIN 7 but there are too many changes that need to be done! Why do you think it could be stolen? Ask the seller to clear the Apple ID and password. If the seller is unable to do this or said that they forgot the information, then it might be stolen. If you have any concerns about this, don't buy it.

I had to have my hard drive replaced and the company that made him put two versions of 32-bit and 64-bit Vista Home Premium on it. Soon, I discovered that I was getting conflict on my computer and he discovered that the two were on the hard drive. I'm trying to upgrade to Windows 7, but I'm at the stage where it tells me to seek answers on the removal of Windows Vista so that the upgrade can continue. He says that I can not upgrade both on the drive. I know the other option is to do a clean business, but I would avoid this possibility if possible.

Hello
The best way is to clean install and start over.
In addition, it is not legal to have both installed version that the license is for a single installation.
If it is a dual boot with 32 bit and 64 bit installed on different partitions, there would not have been the conflicts you would have never started in one or the other.

How can I check if the program 'youtube downloader video and audio by Chris 0.3.5 has malicious software.
When I go to download it has chain
https://addons.Mozilla.org/Firefox/downloads/latest/413644/addon-413644-latest.xpi?src=userprofileI'm so nervous about downloading anything for fear of getting my hijacked browser or worse, because it's already happened twice. Any advice on this program or if there is a similar program to download youtube, who is known to be squeaky clean?
Too, I have youtube downloader video and audio 0.3.5 by Chris on FF but have not used a lot or not at all. Today, Avast gave me a warning (probably a Malware DB recent update) that this product has very bad side. My two main concerns are a possible Trojan and adware popups - horse for now that I only have those on a single site, The Pirate Bay, but they are devilishly difficult to get rid of.
Avast and some other malware utilities not come with Trojan horses, but I saw a EULA (on Board of another, may not be the same product) which explicitly stated the software would share information on the internet, probably tunnel through the firewall. Malware utilitie which would detect as a Trojan horse, or that they would assume that I installed it intentionally? How do they know?
Are modules which arise on the FF Add-ons Manager > get guaranteed by Mozilla addons?

How can I check my Mac mini for spyware and other viruses
How can I check my Mac mini for software spyware and other forms of virus? Recently, I received an electronic invoice which seems to come from Apple on a purchase that I did not. Unfortunately, I answered by clicking on a link that asked me to cancel or manage this purchase that led me to a site that didn't look like an official Apple site. I am afraid that simply by doing so, I welcomed the spyware on my Mac mini hard drive.
My Mac was purchased in 2011 and runs on OS X El Capitan (version 10.11.6).
Kind regards
Politkovskaya
Receive a fraudulent e-mail for a purchase confirmation, you did not is a very common scam. Remember that you are not misled by providing personal information solicited by this e-mail.

No harm will come of the fact that you wrote. Fraudulent Web sites that are made to appear as legitimate those who are specially designed to convince you to reveal personal information. If you don't have that, no further action is necessary or justified. Do not install anything, no matter the source or the apparent popularity, in response to one such scam. To do this would be the first step in a path well worn to the misery.
On the other hand, if you were tricked into providing personal information (like your Apple ID and password) you will need to change your password on Apple ID. Please write back for instructions.

There is a HP machine purchased with preinstalled windows vista home premium and now I want to format the computer so that I can load a license OEM windows 7 on it. I just want to know after the formatting and the license of windows 7 OEM loading if my system will work and also if the windows are enabled.
Please, your urgent response is needed here.
Hello
You don't say where you got the OEM Windows 7 license of.
If you got it from another computer, the answer is no.
If you bought from Microsoft, you can.
Go to your computer / computer laptop manufacturer Web site and see if Windows 7 drivers are available for your make and model computer / laptop.
If this is not available, Windows 7 will not properly work for you.
Run the "Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.

I am running Windows Vista and using Outlook 2007. I had a damaged Windows profile and had to create a new Windows user profile. Can someone tell me how to find my email Outlook and settings and all the files and folders in my old profile and put it in my new profile? Thanks for your help.
Outlook stores this information in various places (not necessarily your profile unless you have programmed to store there). You should check to see where it is set to store these data (I think it involved several different files). Please repost your question in the Discussion of the Office group at: http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx?dg=microsoft.public.outlook.general&lang=en&cr=US where people who specialize in issues of Outlook will be more than happy to help you with your problem.
