Windows XP Professional must have a copy of the Works word processor.  It is easier to work with.

Start > type Works

Select the word processor from the list

If it does not, go to C:\\Program Microsoft Works

Search for MSWorks

Double-click the file to launch

    OK, I have a few equations that follow one another in a line of text, for example

    XC = 10 ^ 6/2 pi f C Xc = 10 ^ 6/2 * pi * 50 * C Xc = 10 ^ 4/pi C... etc.

    Is there a way I can put for example a css feature in paragraph so I can dimension of space as a box?

    I tried with a < span class = css box > < / span > but it includes only the statement text.

    And if I put < p > Xc = 10 ^ 6/2 pi f C < /p > < span class = "css" box > < / span > < p > etc.

    He puts the equations on different lines.

    You said you wanted to math I just assumed you wanted math resembling "math". The only reasonable ways to get that in all browsers are 1) do it with MathJax, which requires 1 JS page call or 2) do it with images. If you want math that looks to the mathematics of the HTML type, you can type in a plain text page or an email - like 10 ^ 6/2 * pi * 50 * C (which is a bit ambiguous, anyway, and not at all recognizable at a glance) - then type it like this and adds nonbreaking spaces for the distance between the mathematical expressions. If you want math that looks like math, then you should use the standard. The standard is HTML 5, and mathematics within the HTML 5 standard is MathML.

    How can I add white space between areas that contain text fields?

    I use Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2015.

    I'm trying to change an existing PDF. I need to add white space between areas that contain text fields to allow these areas to be developed and do not overlap the text and the text below fields.

    For example:

    1. 1.

    Progress/strategies:

    1. 2.

    Progress/strategies:

    1. 3.

    Progress/strategies:

    1. 4.

    Progress/strategies:

    The space between each 'progress/strategies' increasing needs. A text field is under each of them. If it's a Word doc, I could just press on enter. What is the best way to do this with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC?

    There is no easy way to do it. You need to move the text fields more apart and if there are static elements, then you will need to use the tool edit text & Images to move them, separately.

  • remove the space between the lines of tables

    Hello

    How can I get rid of the excess space between the lines in the attached table?  It looks nice and tight in DW, but extends more place in IE and Firefox.  I tried to adjust the height of the cell but no effect.

    Thank you!  TTT

    Try to add this CSS to your style sheets 1.  It will not change the cell height, but he's going to build your lists a little.

    ul,li {line-height: 1; margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0}

    my default printer changed suddenly in offline mode. How can I move this back to the line?

    Original title: printer

    First try the simple solution.  Right click on the printer in devices and printers, then select 'see what's printing.  When the printer queue window opens, click on "Printer" and ensure that there is no check next to 'Use printer offline'.  If there is a control, click once to remove it.

  • Can I borrow a space between the previous paragraph?

    Can someone help me how to get the following provision in a convenient way (see image)?

    Each has its own verse begins paragraph by a number superscript. The italicized text are references that appear at the end of the verse they cover. If there is room at the end of this verse (see verse '7' in the image attached), the cross reference is placed on the last line of this paragraph. But if there is no room for all of the last line of the verse reference I put below, either completely (see "3" and "6") or partially (see ' 1 'through ' 9').

    Given that paragraphs are justified with the last line aligned to the left I put now a hard return before all that go not the cross reference, a soft return (SHIFT + ENTER) would cause the last line of the verse thus justified. But this creates an inconsistency that bothers in my styles. Sometimes, cross-references will be part of the same paragraph for his verse, sometimes it won't and sometimes will separate the cross-references between two paragraphs. Is it possible to have all the cross-references in their own points and let them "borrow" the amount of empty space between the previous paragraph to make the appearance of the image? Or should I fix this manually from verse to verse?

    Bibles exist a specific plugin or a system for InDesign. Problem, it is only available for the Bible societies, I forgot the name.

    But I often have to put in place the texts of the Bible, I do so:

    Nested style up the letter for the verse number, Normal main text

    Shift tab before the reference part, that changes the font for the character for the References style.

    can I use a space m with references

    The space m is used as the distance between the text and reference support.

    The base style uses a smaller font and no break, that is kept grouped, except if it becomes longer than a line, I have to use a manual line break followed by an another tabulator shift, but I think that it would be possible to automate more.

  • How can I find several intersect between the number of lines

    Hello

    I created the table as below,

    CREATE TABLE "TRANS" (NUMBER (9.0) "TIDSET", "ITEM" NUMBER (9.0)); "."

    insert into values trans (1,1) insert into values trans (1,3) insert into values trans (1.4); insert into values of trans (1.5); insert into trans values (1.6);
    insert into values trans (2.1); insert into values trans (2.2); insert into values trans (2, 4); insert into values trans (2,6), trans insert values (3,1);
    insert into values trans (3,2) insert into values trans (3.3) insert into values trans (3.6); insert into values trans (1, 2); insert into trans values (1,1);

    This is not true. The query you posted will work well for any number of lines. Perhaps you are really worried about the number of distinct values of the point.

    so I need to write a program to find the intersect as above without inserting the (item = N) manually each time, can you help me with this please?

    In a solution of Ivan, you probably mean "COUNT (DISTINCT point)" rather than "COUNT (*).
    In addition, if element values are predictable, you don't have to code in all hard; You can generate, like this:

    SELECT       tidset
    FROM       trans
    WHERE       item      IN (
                   SELECT     LEVEL
                   FROM     dual
                   CONNECT BY     LEVEL <= n
                 )
    GROUP BY  tidset
    HAVING COUNT (DISTINCT item) = n
    ;

  • Code view in Dreamweaver displays large empty spaces between the lines

    See attached image. Code view shows large differences between the lines. It is not an extra space. I can't remove it. As you can see in the picture if I select the code space is attached to the code. I'm sure that it is a very simple display option change, but I've looked everywhere. I've just upgraded to the latest version of the thought of DW which may help, but he always does. How can I get rid of the extra space?

    With highlighting the way in which it is, it seems to me that you may have a corrupt police.

    Go in Edition > Preferences > fonts > mode Code and switch to Source Code Pro (if this isn't the case) or something like courier so it is.

    If it is a corrupt police, the origin of the problem, which should dissipate it.

  • How can I add a space to the toolbar in Firefox 29,0? I can enter a space between the empty boxes and move around, but where can I find an icon 'space' to ADD a space?

    It has been useful in previous versions of Firefox to be able to add (a) space (s) between the icons in the toolbar to create groups of icons and/or icons separated by class or function. In Firefox 29,0, I discovered how 'capture' (drag and drop) a space of areas in the open toolbar and move it to another part of the toolbar. But how do I add spaces to the toolbar? In previous versions, there used to be an icon of the space in the whole of the Customize menu that could drag it to the toolbar for this purpose.

    Sorry, the new UI Australis has abolished the 'space' to customize. There may be an extension for adding 'space', but I'm not aware of it.

    Separators and spaces have been removed in versions of Firefox 29. I know that the extension Classic theme restaurateur adds back to Firefox 29 +, but he does not remember having seen other add-ons with this feature.
