How can I close Firefox (closed) if properly run two windows with multiple tabs in each and I want to save them all?

How can I close Firefox (closed) if properly run two windows with multiple tabs in each and I want to save them all? I tried to close each window by clicking the X in the top right, and then restart Firefox only loads the last closed window. Is it possible to close Firefox so it restarts with both windows?

Hi osenochen, some additions to the first response:

  • You can display the classic menu temporarily bar by pressing Alt or F10 to access the file menu
  • There is also an icon of 'power' at the bottom of the graphic application menu (the one which is displayed by the button "3-bar" menu) If you prefer
  • If you closed a window and you want to re - open, go to the history menu and see a list of recently closed windows (by default, up to 3 windows closed are stored and can be re-opened - not applicable to windows private)

Hello, by default the firefox session restore feature only allows you to save last 3 windows open. to change this, type on: config in the address bar of firefox (confirmed the message information where it appears) and search for the preference named browser.sessionstore.max_windows_undo. Double-click it and change its value to 4 (or more).

    Hi Rachel

Go file > Scripts > Image Processor which opens this Panel

It will be easier if you put all the images in a folder, you can select this folder and all the files it contains batch. The numbered sections are in the order you need to follow, so nice an easy.  Don't forget to assign a location record well, or you might struggle to find their.

An alternative, FI you re using Windows is Irfanview.   It has more options than the Image Processor, but maybe it's a little harder to use.

You get an error message when you try to close your open windows of Firefox?

If you right click on the Firefox icon in the taskbar and choose close this window, can you stop? (You may have to repeat until all windows are closed.)

If the Firefox icon remains on the taskbar without the aspect raised, more similar to button, you may have pinned Firefox to your taskbar for easy access even after the program is closed.

  • How can I close Firefox with several tabs without message

It drives me crazy. I'm using Firefox on Linux Mint 17 40.0.3 to the top of a tower Dell Latitude I5. If I have more than one tab open and try to close it, I get a message:

Do you want Firefox to save your tabs for the next time, it opens?

I click on "Do not ask next time" and "exit". He does not save this preference.

So I did some research, went up to about: config and change the following parameters to false:

    browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab; false
    browser.tabs.warnOnClose; false
    browser.tabs.warnOnCloseOtherTabs; false
    browser.tabs.warnOnOpen; false

but this message still comes up. Is this a bug or a feature? How can I get this preference to stay?

    Thanks in advance.

If browser.showQuitWarning is set to true, you will get this warning message.
You must toggle the pref to false with a double click to disable this warning.

  • How can I stop Firefox to return to the previous window, as soon as I open a new window?

In recent versions of Firefox, whenever I chaque fois que j' ouvre opens a new window, as soon as the window opens, Firefox goes back to the previous window, the one that was on the screen before I opened the new window. This is very irritating and not happened in older versions of Firefox.

Any suggestions how to solve this problem? Thank you!

FYI, this isn't a forum threaded, so answers are displayed at the bottom...

DOM.disable_window_flip is a true/false preference that determines whether a script in a web page is allowed to change orientation between the windows of Firefox (in general, to be in front, or pop-under by making the window from which it was opened at the front).

By default, this preference is set to true to disable the windows around Web sites to move, but it is possible that the setting has been changed. To view/change this preference, you can use the subject: configuration preferences editor.

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the Search box that appears above the listfilter, type or paste the flip and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) double-click dom.disable_window_flip to light it between true and false.

Edit: Corrected by the post below.

  • A single Firefox window with multiple tabs is not displayed, and yet other new windows will be

    Question [1], a problem that I need help. .

Is this a window of my browser, with all my precious tabs will not appear anywhere but the taskbar. [2] I know that windows have loaded, but they cling. [3] this I theorize is the fulfillment of one page - one tab - among the 30 + other tabs. [4] this same thing has happened before, but very rarely. .

I was wondering if there was anyway to solve this problem all always back my very important tabs? Thank you. .

[1] I have already once previously written this question altogether, but he disappeared after I registered my email. . Once again, rewrite.

[2] I can always raise new windows and new tabs within these windows, however, the other window, with all other pages are stuck.

[3] because it pushes me with a download, or play some videos of nowhere to commissioning.

[4] may not be the case, who knows. . It's happened before, never go to the beta version.

I solved the problem easily. What I did was stationary my mouse on the preview of the window in the bar of tasks, right click and you press on enlarge. It seems that one of the scripts on one of the windows made the window very small Firefox, or something similar.

  • How can I get firefox version 36 to play audio from our program by default selected and not embedded quicktime player?

In our environment of the room, staff prefer to have MP3s from various sources to download open directly in the window of the program from the outside (here Goldwave is the favorite program). That being said, with the new version (36 specifically) the behavior of the program has changed so that the MP3s are open in a browser tab separated, regardless of the preferences in the window "Applications" of Options and the default values of the program in Windows. Previous adjustments to about: config media.windows - media - foundation.enabled as well as media.directshow.enabled and the setting to 'False' is more to solve this problem.
