  You can't turn off the history feature. It is a key element of the program due to the non-destructive editing of LR.

  You cannot uninstall the desktop CC application. However, you can choose not to have to run.

  Hi willpublx, when you have selected never "remember history" in the privacy options so you are actually in 'permanent private browsing mode' and that there will be an extra mask icon to indicate that.

  So, I followed the steps up to the 4th, while I noticed there is no MainMenu.nib in my English.lproj. So, with that, I couldn't do anything. I tried to open the other s MainMenu.nib French, German, etc., but all were just pictures and had no REAL content. I really need help with that. I was about to uninstall Safari, but as I use El Capitan I couldn't, I then noticed that on El Capitan, you can not remove Safari. Please do help me.

  It seems you are trying to restrict what sites are available in Safari and tried to do it by removing the private browsing. Mac OS X El Capitan provides some features that allow you to limit the access that your child's Web sites and others.   Set parental control
