  You can't turn off the history feature. It is a key element of the program due to the non-destructive editing of LR.

  You cannot uninstall the desktop CC application. However, you can choose not to have to run.

  Before you can try to manipulate the file, you need to know that it has finished loading.  For this you need to add an event listener to the object/property contentLoaderInfo the loader.  You can then use the function handler for this listener action for the loaded file.

  After unchecking the box, I'm more able to display images on many sites. Turn all grey images - as if Firefox has changed their image in part of the background. When I check the box, I am able to see fine pictures, however, Web sites typically return to their light background with dark text.
