How can I copy large files (> 15 GB) on several CDs or DVDs using features in Windows 7?

How can I copy large files (> 15 GB) on several CDs or DVDs using features in Windows 7?  I tried Media Player, but simply, he stops and tells me that the file I copy is great.  I am looking for a way that will tell me to enter another dissk and continue copying until the file has copied at the end.

You need to split the file into segments that will be adapted on the disks you are using.

Windows has no characteristic that will do this for you. You can get a BluRay drive and disc http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blu-ray_Disc, when you should be able to fit on a single disk file.

  • How can I copy large files of WMC (.wtv) to a flash drive?

I'm trying to transfer your recorded TV, by WMC to broadcasts of the OTA to my desktop PC Windows 7 on a USB flash drive.  I'm going to the Public > TV registered and drag a file to an empty 32 GB flash (29 GB available, to FAT32) drive.  A dialog box appears indicating that "the XYZ file is too large for the destination file system" and displays a Cancel button.  This happens with any file greater than 4 GB, even if the capacity of the flash drive is much larger than the size of the file. I tried to convert a 8 GB in MPEG4 file that reduces the file size less than 4 GB, and it was transferable, but the process is long and tedious.
I want to just copy the file to the flash drive, plug it into my Windows 7 laptop and watch the show. It seems it should be easy. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  • IX4 - 300 d / General SIN: How can I move large files between different folders?

    Hi @all.

    My new IX4 - 300 d arrived yesterday

After doing his RAID-things all night, now I want to move my files from my old NAS to this one.

    I do this using Copy-supported by the ix4 - 300 d, which work fine.

A big problem for me: I want to reorganize some large files / directories (> 200 GB), so I have to cut and paste the files from one folder to another (all on the ix4 - 300 d, but with different user groups).

When I move files between subfolders in a folder of the sin, it works fast enough - I think here that the transfer will be treated directly by the nas server.

When I do the same thing between subfolders in different folders (which appear as various network drives in windows Explorer), it seems that the transfer is managed by my pc or laptop - and it is very slow...

I tried to move the files on my network environment (all folders are subfolders of a server: ix4 - 300 d) because I thought the problem was in my network mapping, but it does not work faster.

How will I know my ix4 - 300 d to move the files directly (without the "help" from my pc)?

Another idea for me was to do it via ftp, but my ix4 - 300 d only refused my connection (have to try a little more)

    Please help me

I "solved" the problem by creating a copy of the temporary employment with the manual removal of duplicates once the task is completed. The copy job run all night.

For future problems, I must think of an another "file management".

    Thanks for your response!

Photo Gallery is just an 'intermediate '. It does NOT store images/photos.
Images/photos are stored in the folder. Are your looking for in the pictures folder.

Plug your USB > start > computer > click the flash drive > open folder images > drag and dropn photos images in the flash player.
    That's all.

  • How can I copy my files to my host server acct to my (new) hard drive?

    I recently bought a new

laptop computer after a crash.  I was able to install DW (CS3)

and my files are all intact.  But I need to put the files on my disk hard so that I can edit them while offline.  As it is, whenever I open DW, I am connected to the host.  Previously, I was able to connect when I was ready to publish.   So the question is: How can I transfer my pictures and pages web html on my hard drive. Once this is done, I should be able to work offline, right, from my computer.  Thank you.

Define a Local Site folder in DW.  This is where your site files will be stored locally.

Open DW, hit GET (down arrow) to download the files and folders in your remote server.

  • How can I find the images that have a resolution below 1920 * 1200 using search in Windows 8?

I'm trying to find images in a folder to have a resolution of 1920 * 1080, but can only find how to search specific sizes - what is useful, but not what I need.

    Any help is appreciated.

No longer think that it is-just try logic.  :-)

    Search for width and height.

Example - if I had a folder (with subfolders even) I wanted to find all moroccoin who had a lower width to (but not equal to) 1920 (which is what you say, to halfway anyway) then I'm looking for:

    Width:<>

If I wanted all the images to a width smaller than 1920 and height less than 1080, so I'm looking for:

    Width:<1920><>

(... which is what said you you wanted.)

Of course, who does not account turned images where width is now 1080 and the height is now of 1920.  ;-)

If I wanted that all the images that are less than or equal to a measure...

    Width:<=1920><>

    Etc and so on...

All of this assumes that images have been properly encoded with metadata, indexed, etc..

It can also take some time to process...

Works for Windows XP I think.

What you might see in a results pane:

This image is Windows 7, because that is maybe I was sitting in front of in time.  Should be very similar/same to search for files (FILE SEARCH is the key it) in point 8.1 of Windows...

Note that I added the width and height to the columns for easy sorting - heck, that could solve your problem here.  Go to the root directory (all subdirectories has included in this one you can photos on) and research of *. * and with the width and height columns add, once the search results show all the ions of files files - click one of the column headers to sort (say by width) and you will find a list of images in all of the folders located under him you started with a width of all together, etc.

But - you seemed to want to put the width & height together, then...

    Dimensions:<>

However, in my tests, it is less reliable than the width and height - as I am less than or equal to 1920 and height, it was whatever he felt like.

    May arise through this:
    http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/4595-search-Windows-8-a.html

    Examples of search methods:

http://arstechnica.com/information-technology/2010/03/Mastering-Windows-search-using-advanced-query-syntax/ (former article, always - pages - topical and valuable - in my opinion.  Using Boolean operators and properties mixed with the many things that you can search for makes searching in file Explorer Windows/a very powerful tool.)

Even if - when it comes to searching for files - I still live a reliable old friend:
    Agent Ransack

FileLocator Pro is the professional version (the version of cost) of the tool Agent Ransack.  Nice product, well worth the money as it if you do a lot of research files.

If you do a lot of mass rename files, I found a free software that is VERY easy to use and reliable/flexible for me for years: Advanced Renamer

Overall - for most people - the built-in Windows search features and even the ability to change of name no longer.  Here's a decent rundown of the AQS (AQS):

  • How can I copy the file with my saved passwords before you reset my master password?

Firefox has stopped recognizing my master password, so I need to change. I understand how to follow these instructions. But - I do not understand the directions for the backup of my name of user and password existing file. I don't know where to find him. Can someone explain to those of us with a little less knowledge?
    Thank you very much!

If the files logins.json or signons.sqlite and signons3.txt are fit and have no errors then Firefox will ask the MP and display names and passwords in password manager.
If this is not the case then best is start with fresh files and let Firefox create new files signons3.txt and logins.json.
In this case, you will have to resave all passwords.

You can try these commands in the Console browser (Firefox/tools > Web Developer):

    • Services.logins.getAllLogins () .length = > prints the number of readable connections only
    • Services.logins.countLogins ("", "", "") = > prints the number of connections, including connections not readable

From now on there is no direct option to save a local PDF of Adobe Acrobat app on iOS.

But that's what you can do.

    Method 1:

    Open the Safari browser

Go to https://cloud.acrobat.com/ and sign in with your Adobe ID

Select the PDF file you want to download

    Click on download.

This will open the PDF file in Safari

Press on in the file PDF and this will give you an "Open in..." option at the top right.

    Select "copy to Adobe Acrobat.

    Method 2:

Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat app

Press the share down icon to the right

Select the file shared the popup

Select 'Original Document to share' and press 'Mail '.

    Send it to yourself

Open the attachment in Adobe Acrobat app.

Once the PDF file is opened in Adobe Acrobat app for iOS, it is stored locally.

  • How can I copy and paste iCloud Notes on the site to iCloud for Word on Windows?

I looked at the instructions on Apple's site on how to copy / paste of Notes iCloud in document programs, but I had no success. When I right click and drag to select what I want to copy, and then right-click, there is no option to 'Copy' (there are options to 'Copy image' and 'Save image', which do not translate in a Word document). I would like to consolidate some of the Notes I will be no more editing in the document files and you'd be acknowledging the possibility of a solution to this problem I encounter.

  • How can I delete a file that my SBS 2011 server thinks is used by another process?

We are moving the files from one disk to a larger drive.  I was able to move all the files in a directory (is there a lot), except a single file.  Our server thinks that this file is used by another process.  It is not.  I tried to use the cmd prompt to delete the file, but that did not work.  I tried theRmDir /S /Q, I tried the old del (name of file) I continue to get the message this file is in use by another process.  I have changed all of the security on this file, I unchecked the boxes for archiving.  Nothing works.

    Any advice?

    Thank you.
