  If you make the image a layer (opposite to background)...

  You could choose the blue with the magic wand, as Semaphoric says, then fill it with white.  Then choose Select - change the selection - contract and hide or delete the remaining pixels.  The operation of contract will give you a nice border size you choose.

  For extra credit, you can use refine edge to increase the reliability of the selection.

  There is no single provision for this. You can improve somewhat by repeated applications of object > path > AddAnchorPoints.

  If you are using the right mixture to automatically generate patterns of an same object (e.g., nothing is really mixture), try to use a ScatterBrush instead.

  I managed to do it with the full path of the link (file:///C|/Users/myname/Documents/familyK3/image1.jpg), but as it is quite long, I would use the relative path. To be clear, I have 1 site that spans 3 different storage locations for FTP. site1 (named familyK), that contains the page. On this page, I have an image that is in the images on training3 (named familyK3). I tried... / familyK3/images and... /... (/ familyK3/images, but I don't get to see the photo in DW (since it usually refers to an image in the same folder (root)) and not to another location).

  Another option is the master password + extension.

  You must first make sure that Firefox uses a master password, for more details on how to do that see use a master password to protect stored logins and passwords. Then with the master password + extension in its options, go to the getting started section and make sure that "ask for password at startup" and "Exit if cancelled" is selected both.

  As with all extensions, this protection is quite weak and can be bypassed if start you Firefox in safe mode that disables extensions.

  We have an EBS (R12.1) environment and intend to use the CPSA. I've seen environments where the CAWC runs in its own environment/database, etc. and connects to an instance of the EBS. Which is the only type of available configuration or can CAWC run fully within an environment of EBS/instance on the same server?   Hi Nat,

  ASIC can be configured in two ways:

  1 centralized - where the EBS and VCP reside on the same application server.

  2 decentralized - where the EBS and CRS are on two different application servers.

  Basically the motor nucleus of CPSA of planning does all the planning in the memory of the application server (and not in the database). This planning process is highly require a lot of resources (memory) and requires a huge memory (according to the data, the type of plan and many other factors). If the application servers are not the right size, this led to the poor performance of the application. And if both the planning and EBS reside on the same server, there are possibilities that you slow the global treatment through the functions of the company. That's why decentralized architecture is preferred, where the planning process running on another remote computer of your EBS and it didn't there in not affecting transactional modules.

  Beyond that, you have the ease of maintenance in terms of correction, update, addition of multiple of VCP modules, if you're on a decentralised architecture.

  Centralized architecture is also not rare. Many companies run their planning and EBS on a single machine.

  Yes, you are right. All the links in the source database are copied to the wait.  If your databases on hold are active DG, you can check (select * from dba_db_links).

  Ideally in your case when Standby is converted to write - you don't need to change the link of database, but adding entries with correct name tnsnames.ora will correct the problem.

  I insert rows in a table from database as part of an effort to logging for our program.  The table in question has a lot of columns, many of which can be NULL at any given time.  As such, I would decide at run time (as situations warrant) columns that get a value when I add the new line.  The columns are of types of mixed data... strings, floats, some ints, etc.

  For example...

  • On one pass, I want to fill the columns 'temp', 'volume' and 'weight '.
  • On another pass, I can want to fill columns 'temp', 'color' and 'notes '.

  What I did before, is to make a copy of "DB tools Insert Data.vi" and change internally in order to accept an array of variant instead of a cluster.  Then I can build programmatically to a picture of what I want insert, leaving the fields not used as Null.  A few years ago when I did, but I think it was pretty easy to do.
