  Shift-click or command-click to select if they are contiguous. Then press the delete key.

  Or select them and use the keyboard shortcut command + X.

  Or select them in the Index of the Timeline and use the key DELETE or command + X.

  It is regrettable and very difficult to manage to go through file and remove as much as my phone does not display manually. DNG natively.   I think you are saying two things that are almost contradictory here:

  • (Implicit in the fact that you referenced "big red number" and "all those who invited me to a meeting): you save all your events years ago.  For example, perhaps you have been invited to a meeting (the date chosen at random) November 5, 2011 at 10:30 you responded to.  But «I don't want to remove my calendar events...» »
  • "I have... to use the Outlook calendar as little as possible."

  Why the world you would hesitate to delete your (potentially many) events for weeks, months, years?
