How can I delete a partition and get all the free space?

I have a partition on my computer, Local C drive and the Local disk D.  C drive is extremely low, free space and disk D is very high with free space. I am trying to delete the partition and have all the free space from D to C. is there someone who can help me maybe?  It would be greatly appreciated!

Download the free Easeus Partition Master of http://www.easeus.com .  Keep in mind that there may be files on D: to restore factory settings, so do not delete if this is the case.

I hope this helps.  Good luck.

  • How can I delete second partition?

Hello, I recently created a second partition on my C: drive.  I changed my mind on the installation of a new OS, so now I would like to delete the partition and merge it into a C: drive.  I have to mark the partition as inactive, and now I'm ready to remove it. But when I try to delete or format the partition, I get this message:

Delete is not allowed on the boot volume, system, file, dump on incident or current hibernation.

I understand that this message should appear if I was on the c: partition, but not on the second partition, I created.  How to delete this partition?  Thank you

Thank you for your response.  I found the answer on an accident!  I changed the drive letter and restarted and after that, I was able to delete the partition and extend the main partition to take all the C: drive.  Thank you

  • How can I delete second partition of Windows 8 is not working.

Original title: 2 Options of Windows 8 boot after installation

After the instrall of Windows 8, I find myself with 2 startup options for ' windows 8 '. We work, we do not. How can I delete the one that does not work?

This might help, it might not. I had an additional option of Windows 8 start after the installation of Win8 Pro Dev preview. I even formatted my drive (I have 2 disk for Win8) first and always happens.

First, run Disk Cleanup and clean up system files. This could find older versions of windows to be deleted.

I found the extra startup option by running 'msconfig' and selecting the tab "boot" by selecting the extra startup option and pressing 'delete' this problem for me solved.

  • How can I delete my emails in bulk in the Mail application?

    Original title: deleting email

I have yahoo mail and I'm on windows 8 How can I delete my emails in bulk

    Hi Lynn,

Thanks for posting the query on Microsoft Community and we give the opportunity to help you on this question.

According to the description of the problem, it seems you want to delete the emails in bulk from the e-mail account.

I would like to ask a few questions on this topic to help you best:

    (1) do you use Windows 8 Mail app on the computer?
    (2) did synchronize you with Windows 8 Mail app Yahoo mail account?

If you use Mail app to view emails on the computer and that you have configured the account Yahoo mail with the Mail application, then, you can delete messages by selecting the mail by using the Remove option.

I rather suggest that you follow the instructions below to find it's much easier:

    (a) click on one of them, the messages you want to delete.
    (b) press and hold the Ctrl on the keyboard, and then click all messages you want to delete.
    (c) the list of messages must be all shady. Click the delete option in the upper right corner of the Mail application.
    (d) check if you have deleted messages required at the same time.

    It will be useful.

Please feel free to post if you have any other question related to Windows.

  • How can I delete a partition? Standard procedures do not work

    Hello

    Context:

MacBook Air (mid 2011), version OS X El Captian 10.11.4

128 GB SSD into a 70 GB partition (OS X el capitan, the name is "Macintosh HD") and a 50GB partition (used to be bootcamp, name is now 'B'). The 50 GB partition needs to go.

I erased the 50 GB for OS X extended (journaled) partition, but when I click on the partition, I still can not remove it (the infamous "less grey", see picture).

I can resize, Macintosh HD remains to 70 GB and a third made partition which in turn can be eliminated, but the space that he released is allocated in B again, which does not solve anything.

By restarting on recovery mode and using disk utility it has not allowed for the partition to be removed either.

As you can see from the image above, I also did an eDrive, where I still can't delete the partition of 50GB.

    Note: Filevault is turned off.

I feel pretty silly since I managed to do it before on a previous version of mac OS... (at the time where I had to enlarge the bootcamp partition, but to do this I had to remove everything first, because of its format)

Help me, apple community, you're my only hope!

I believe that when you create a Boot Camp partition, it had to be removed using Boot Camp Assistant.
