  • How can I delete the themes that comes with the Win7? They are ugly and I do not take my place. The theme of characters for example.

It's pretty simple, at least for me; I want to delete the themes that came with my new computer. The theme of character for example, I'll never use it, I think it's ugly and I'd like to remove it from my system. I downloaded other packs of themes of Microsoft, I removed the themes saved myself without problem. Help?

These themes take up a space infintesimal amount.  When new computers are shipped with 500 GB to 2 TB hard drives today, it's a waste of time and a risk of causing problems to fuss with these things.  20 years ago, we had to worry about these things, but that time is long gone.  Do you realize that 1 TB is 1,000,000,000,000 bytes?  If you had 1 billion dolloars and divided into piles of dollar, pious million how do you you?  You would have 1 million piles each with 1 million dollars in it.  So why worry a few megabytes?

  • How can I delete a site that I will not publish?

    Hi all

Sorry in advance if this is a really stupid question.

I am completely new using MUSE and construction of Web sites.   I've been playing with a few drawings on a layout of Parallax and slowly working my way through the process, with a lot of reading 'how' between the two.  However, I cannot find a delete option to get rid of the test sites and my recent items list, becomes long.  I tried to find the answer by looking at the forums and via the web, but all I can find are references to deleting a published site.  Please can someone tell me - in terms of complete fool - how can I delete a site, I never have to publish and was just a practice site?  Thank you very much.

The only way to do it without uninstalling or Formate is to stuff everything in the Windows registry... delayed one.

  • How can I stop unin wedging something I don't want not uninstalled?

I hit the key by! accident

    Hi Mary,

If you have uninstalled it, you really can't stop it (well, sometimes there is a Cancel button to do and that will usually work and sometimes if you stop it with the quick task manager enough it will work - but usually it gives just a messed installation and the program will not work properly or not at all).

If it's already done, one option is to use the system to a restore point BEFORE, did you uninstall and who must return things to normal with the program here and the work. If you use Windows 7, see:http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/700-system-restore.html. If you are using Vista, see:http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/. If you are using XP, see:http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial56.html.

If that doesn't work, then please tell us what OS you use, what you have uninstalled that you don't want to (name and version), and whether or not you have the original installation disks or downloads for this program.

I hope this helps. If not, please provide the above information so that we can direct you to resources that can help you (assuming he didn't MSE you tried to uninstall - then we will help you here).

    Good luck!

I have some programs that load at startup to the top.  There are a couple of them that I would like to delete.  In particular, I would like to get rid of MS Messenger that doesn't even exist anymore.  How do I know what charges at first upward and how to remove the things that I do not want to load.  Some are programs that I use, but I don't need to load every time I turn on my computer.

How to show or hide various toolbars?

Most toolbars can be shown or hidden according to your needs. To show or hide a toolbar, click an empty section of the band to tabs and check or uncheck it from the context menu.

Menu Bar: This toolbar at the top of the Firefox window contains the browser menus (File, Edit, Help, etc.). On Windows Vista and 7, the Menu Bar is hidden by default, and its features are contained in the Firefox button. If the Menu Bar is hidden, you can temporarily show it by pressing the Alt key.

Tab Strip: This is where your tabs are displayed. You can't hide it.
Navigation Toolbar: This toolbar contains your web site navigation buttons, the Location Bar, the Search Bar, the Home button and the Bookmarks button.
Bookmarks Toolbar: This toolbar contains your Bookmarks Toolbar Folder bookmarks. For more information, see Bookmarks Toolbar - Display your favorite websites at the top of the Firefox window. On new installations of Firefox, the Bookmarks Toolbar is hidden by default.
Add-on Bar: This toolbar at the bottom of the Firefox window contains buttons associated with your extensions (if they are made available by the add-on developer). See The Add-on Bar gives you quick access to add-on features for more information.

There are additional options to change the appearance of your icons in toolbar at the bottom of the window to customize the toolbar:

Show: From the Show dropdown menu, you can choose what to display in the toolbars: icons, text, or icons and text together. By default, Firefox shows icons only.
Use Small Icons: Check this option to make the toolbar smaller.

Right-click an empty section of the Tab Strip and select Customize.... The Customize Toolbar window opens.
At the bottom of the Customize Toolbar window, click Add New Toolbar. The New Toolbar window opens.
In the New Toolbar window, enter a name for your toolbar and click OK.

When you're finished adding items, click Done.

Your new toolbar appears under the Navigation bar.

Try it: make a new toolbar. You can always remove additional toolbars by clicking on restore default set in the window to customize the toolbar.
