  I have a dv6-1030us equipped for Vista 64-bit.  It is hanging in the Windows startup.  I press F11 during BIOS screen to get the HP Recovery screen.  I tried restoring the system running.  It is said that the system has been restored to its previous state, but when I restart the computer, I get the same error.

  I'm going to use my Vista recovery disc I created when I got the computer, but I can't find them.  Is it possible to create the disc in the HP Recovery Manager that I access by pressing F11 at startup from the BIOS?

  Yes, that would be my suggestion - create your set of recovery DVDs and then use them to reinstall the operating system that this process will also recreate the recovery Partition D.

  The default location are dependent on the OS.
  On Unix/Linus, it's under $ORACLE_HOME/dbs
  On Windows, it is under %ORACLE_HOME%/database

  To change the location by default, nothing inside the database, but:
  Under Unix/Linux, you must create a symbolic link to this file to the target location
  Under Windows, you need to change the variable env (regedit) ORA_PWFILE and ORA_SID_PWFILE

  So, you must check this setting for the location of real password file.

  I found that the designation of the location of library playlist is determined by:
  Tools > Options > tab music Rip
  As you say, I should have used:
  C:\Users\Owner\Music
  I like it now and it works OK.
  I'll remove the subordinate Playlist folder.

  I get No Track on three that I added using their playlists on the network/TV receiver.

• How can I stabilize the location of my desktop icons in windows 8

  I work from the office, virtually 100% of the time and I put on 10 desktop icons with applications that I use constantly.  I kind of want to stay in the same place, but it is still moving around the screen.  I have "auto arrange" disabled.  I use a lot is the program, so I'll have office up on most of my screen and side window has messenger.

  Every day that I start, my icons have moved around the screen, those that I placed horizontally on the lower right part of the screen end generally vertically aligned with the top left corner.

  I look for other matching, but have not found work from the search results.

  Any help would be appreciated, I would just be able to lock them in one place.

  If you use the component feature snap to snap a desktop application rather than on the side of the screen, the desktop itself will get resized to a new physical pixel size, and the icons will be move accordingly (so they are not hidden off the screen and will not you).  The effect is as if the resolution of the monitor has been changed (users who use projectors / TV, or other monitors frequently see this problem of "move icon", so you're not alone).

  Unfortunately there is not much that can be done directly to solve this problem, at least not by default.  There are programs such as the great "closed Desktop" that the company StarDock product that help corral and group desktop icons.

  Another option could be to pin your icons in your taskbar instead.

Original printer disk has no drivers for Vista. I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer on my desk. He installed the deivers ok since my drive hard but would not print! I get no error messages either. Microsoft FixIt has not found any problem.
