  I have a laptop Acer Aspire 7530. Today when I tried to play a cd, the CD drive has failed. I looked at the State of the disk and it said that the pilot program is damaged or is missing... (code 39) I do not understand how this can happen, I did no changes anywhere.

  That's what I've tried:
  -Uninstall the driver, reinstall and restart.
  -Get updates for Windows in general and for the specific driver.
  -Disable the driver and restart.
