Hey lydiac,
You could try to go to Tools > Options > privacy and delete the individual cookie for this site. You can also try going to Tools > Options > Security and verify that the site is not in your list of exceptions.
Hope this helps!

To do this, click on start and type netplwiz in the search field and press ENTER. When the user account control window appears, click on continue. In the window user accounts that appears, verify that your user account is enabled. Clearly, users must enter a user name and password to use this computer option, and then click OK. Provide the password to your user account when you are prompted, restart the computer. Vista will automatically log on with your user account.

How can I get firefox to open a pdf file in adobe instead of the new pdf reader?
Before the recent update, 19.0, I google something and see [PDF] next to a link. I click the Center button to open it in a new tab. Firefox might download the file and open it with Adobe Reader. I like this.
With the new update 19.0, the pdf file would open in the new tab. I have to down load it and then open it in Adobe. I don't like this.
I'm going to preferences under applications. I look to see if I can change that. Next to document Adobe Reader, I choose to use Adobe Reader, but when I click on a link [PDF], it always opens the file in Firefox and not Adobe.
I want to go back to the way it was.
Problem: Open a pdf file in Firefox, he wants to save the file.
Remedy:
In Firefox, tools, Options, choose the column on the left (Content Type) Applications tab, select Portable Document Format (pdf). Right column (Action) choose Preview in Firefox.
I use Firefox 21.0.

I want to see my e-mail with the basic settings, but it will return to their value by default whenever I connect. I have my set Firefox to remember the story and save cookies.
What are your current cookie settings?
You allow all cookies or if you are you using the 'ask me' setting? This problem may be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked.
- Check the permissions on the subject: permissions page and in "tools > Page Info > Permissions.
You can control and manage permissions for the domain in the tab currently selected through these steps:
- Click the address bar onthe Site identity button"(globe/lock)
- Click on 'More information' to open ' tools > Page Info "with the Security tab is selected
- Go to the permissions tab (Tools > Page Info > permissions) to check the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab
Clear the cache and delete cookies only from Web sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Firefox/tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.
'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:
- Firefox/tools > Options > privacy > "Use the custom settings for history" > Cookies: "show the Cookies".
If the deletion of cookies did not help, then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies has been corrupted.
- Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete the other files of cookies as cookies.sqlite - journal in the profile folder of Firefox in the case where the cookies.sqlite file has been corrupted.

I would like firefox to save my password on a site, because I always forget and need to make a new. but any firefox never propose to 'Remember password' on this site for a reason. can I do remember for this site?
No, sorry, a bookmarklet (if that's what you try) is a JavaScript code snippet that hacks the page open. Running it in a different tab won't help.
I have not tried these bookmarklets myself, but to run it, you copy the code to the Clipboard, right-click on the bookmarks toolbar and choose new bookmark, then passed to the location. You can give the bookmark any name you like. usually something short works better.

For some banking sites that require passwords, I'm 99.3% sure that I have at one point, never said 'Remember password'. Now, I want to change my mind. When I go to Options/Options/Security/Remember.../Exceptions, the sites are not listed, but I'm not always asked the question "want to remember...". »
The Web site may use autocomplete = off to prevent Firefox to record the name and the password.
You can remove autocomplete = off with a bookmarklet to register the name and the password of Firefox.

How can I get Firefox to download a document in Adobe format, rather than the html page?
The PACER site provides copies of documents in format Acrobat pdf. However, when I access a document, it appears in Firefox, rather than Adobe. So, I'm not able to download on Adobe. (I unchecked 'internet' option in Adobe in a manner appropriate, so that it is not instructed to download the document in the browser.) However, Internet Explorer, display and download in Adobe, because he is supposed to do. I called support PACER, but they were unable to help me.
I found the support page that I found via search index 'see or download pdf' very useful.
He brought me to download and install a Schubert | It browser plugin that works very well. It has many options, which is the choice to download or view the pdf file.
The plugin is free for personal or educational use even if you don't find this out until you start using it.

Try Firefox SafeMode to see how it works there.
A way of solving problems, which disables most of the modules.
(If you use it, switch to the default theme).- You can open the mode without failure of Firefox 4.0 + by pressing the SHIFT key when you use the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
- Or use the Help menu option, click restart with the disabled... modules while Firefox is running.
Do not choose anything at the moment, just use 'continue in safe mode.
To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the shortcut of Firefox (without the Shift key) to open it again.
If it's good in Firefox Safe mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one.
http://support.Mozilla.com/en-us/KB/troubleshooting+extensions+and+themesWhen find you what is causing that, please let us know. It might help others who have this problem.
