How can I get rid of Norton quarantined (bulk, phishing) envelopes left in the mailbox of e-mail

Emails have been correctly identified as malicious and quarantined by Norton Antivirus.  However, the software leaves the empty envelopes now sit in the mail box.  Trying to their trash in the normal way to produce a message that they cannot be removed because they do not exist (that is, they are in their 40s with an assigned name Norton and the link between the envelope and the content is of course broken).  Norton must associate an explanatory message to the now empty envelope may be accompanied by an explanation, and things could then be deleted according to the normal procedure,

At this point, I don't see any solution to get rid of the empty envelopes and OSx (updated) obviously doesn't know how to deal with them.

Everyone please, any ideas?...

.. .and please don't give me the usual conferences on installation not Norton or any other malicious software on a Mac title,... think of the phishing emails he just identified and quarantined before that my less attentive members of the household may have opened their.

Interesting... This page drop-down to identify your operating system does not include updates of version 10? ...

  • How can I get rid of what looks like a soccer ball on the screen?

When I move the cursor upwards or downwards, a small icon that looks like a soccer ball that appears on the screen and its function is to scroll the screen at lightning speed. It brings me to tears. How can I get rid of him?

I'm terribly sorry. This problem was not the work of Windows, but it is rather a problem of Mozilla Firefox. The small circle with a dot in the middle (it looks like a ball of soccer at first glance) is because of the "scroll" of Firefox feature. If you are in a browser window and you move the wheel mouse this little circle appears and before you can blink, you are at the top or bottom of the page. Very annoying.

In any case, for those who have this problem: in the Firefox browser, click on tools, Options, advanced options, and under navigation, clear "use autoscrolling".

It seems that the folders "My Documents" and "Public Documents" are somehow added to the music library. Simply right click on 'Music' Library/topic, and then select Properties.

  • Windows 7 - How can I get rid of an "All Control Panel items" icon on the desktop?

Only, I've migrated to Vista Ultimate x 64 to Windows 7 Professional x 64.  I used Laplink to move all my users, programs, and settings.  Everything is great, except now there is an icon on the desktop for all my users that I can't get rid of - it connects to the control panel and is called "All Control Panel items" - it cannot be deleted or moved to the Recycle Bin. Make a right click on it brings up a menu with 'open' and 'create a shortcut' by dragging it to the trash does not delete it.

If I am right cick on the desktop and add Control Panel to the items displayed on the desktop, a second control Panel icon appears with the same picture, but the text is just 'control panel '.

  • How can I get rid of a 'sidebar' (an additional site without on the left of the screen) that is still there after restarting Firefox and even cold, start the computer?

I opened a Web site of the library without specifying "in a new tab. I expected to crush the existing active tab. Instead, he opened in a demi-fenetre on the left, without tab and without all the icons "Min/Max/Close. I can not close it even by restarting Firefox or stop and start the computer. He now appears on each screen in Firefox with each tab. I note the address of the site to be replaced, but the offending site is https://servicing.capitalone.com/c1/login.aspx.

There is an 'X' in the top right of the sidebar.
You can replace it with a different sidebar; Therefore, you can use "Ctrl + B" to bring up the sidebar bookmarks, use "Ctrl + B" once more to turn it took off.

Click on the star to bookmark to bring up the bookmark, in the lower left corner, if you see the following, uncheck the box.

[X] load this bookmark in the sidebar.

You can right click a bookmark to display the bookmark properties, uncheck the "load this bookmark in the sidebar".

    In the sidebar

    1. Right-click to bring up the Page Info
    2. Triple - click the url
    3. use "Ctrl + B" to bring up the Bookmarks Sidebar
    4. Paste the url in search, then right click on the found object to bring up the bookmark properties

In the list of Favorites library there is unfortunately no column in the list of library of favorites for this feature, but you can click on the bookmark and properties will be displayed on the box under the same information, if you see a drop-down list "gone" click to view the list of properties.

If you want to see the extent that you have these bookmarks you export our bookmarks in bookmarks.html file and then view the source and use of find for WEB_PANEL = "true" - I have the extension 'Search all', so I can see how many times the string occurs and where.

It has a turbulent history, it is useful as a reference column, but it was destroyed in Firefox 3, after use in a link, use, restoration of use later but not keyworded bookmarks and not places links both where it makes sense to break. Remained at does not not for keywords because they wanted to destroy the mot-cle--Word key lost for a year in the beta version of Firefox 3. Now, it must be eliminated because few people (can) use it (properly), but they will make this inaccessible box first - someone ' else see the additional error with that.

    Hello @nininger,

    Thanks for the quick response!

In your original post, it was not indicated if you receive updates via the HP Support Assistant, or the update of Windows.  If you receive messages via the HP Support Assistant, you should be able to go into the tool and change the way you receive notifications.  You can consult the following document to help you, if necessary:

I've just updated Skype from a really old version. I now use the 7.5.0.102 version (Windows 7).

Now, there's all this shit out of place on the right side which allows to take place half of the width of my screen. How can I get rid of him?

I tried to resize the window, but it has a defined minimum size.

I tried to look in the menus and options too but could not find. I chose "compact sidebar view ', but it didn't get rid of the part to the right.

How can I make the right side of this window disappears?

    I thought about it.

If you choose View-> split window he break it in its own window. Then you can close it and she goes.

It would be convenient an X in the corner of this area or hide option in the menu.
