How can I get the Favorites bar to open when Firefox opens without having to click to open it?

When I open FIrefox I want that toolbar bookmarks to be there by default without having to click to open it. It's very frustrating to have to add everytime I open Firefox.

Help!

Thank you.

You are using "Options > Bookmarks Toolbar" to display the toolbar? If you are, and it is not save your settings when you close or restart Firefox, there could be a problem with your Firefox profile.

Try again with a new profile and see what happens. Operating instructions here:

  • How can I get the address bar does not redirect me?

Since the recent update for Firefox 36.0.1, a URL typed on the address bar is now taking me to a website where I can buy this unused domain name (buydomains.com). This is not where I want to go. I have no intention to buy a domain name; I don't particularly appreciate receive advertising in response to my fault for typing. What I would like is a good, not old Error 404 to tell me that I looked for something that didn't exist. How can I prevent the address bar to send me off, in the arms of the advertiser, but get just a 404 instead of this message?

    Hello

I have to fully understand and appreciate the magnificence of a 404 error. He immediately told you what you wanted to know - that the site is not found!

What you see is where the registration and ownership of the site was passed to the registry which is owner of the domain. The site is located, it is just acting as an announcement of the person who is the owner of the URL so that they can sell or resell.

The address bar works as it should - it displays the URL as requested - it's just not the preferred outcome. One way you can get around this is use a parental control addon and include the name of the registry in the watchlist (or edit list so that it is the only entrance). She stops at the page to display. (Link) is an example of the kind of addon, that you could use.

After Thunderbird as an option for my email, the bar disappeared after uninstalling Thunderbird. I know hovering on the web pages I have on my menu bar, but I'd rather have the bar all at the bottom of the page.

The gray bar appears in my email only. I would like to have it on all my sites.

    Thank you.

I guess what you mean in the bar of horizontal scrolling if you want to be able to scroll horizontally.
Firefox will normally only show the bar if content extends outside the browser window.

You can have zoomed pages by accident.
Reset the zoom of page on pages that are causing problems.

  • How can I get the SecureWebBHO malware off 33.03 FIrefox

I use Firefox (version 33.03 now) as my main web browser. Recently, a number of regularly visited sites started acting strange. I also get random pop ups telling me that I need to update my video player, or the version of Java (my version is current). I checked the "add ons" in the menu control, nothing seems out of place (2 nVidia 3D Vision plugin, a VLC Web plug in, an OpenH264 CAP in Cisco). I pulled the top 11 IE to see if it had the same problem. He did. When I opened menu IE control and is gone to 'Manage Add-ons', he showed the BHO SecureWeb from a company called Jelbrus LLC. I disabled it in IE 11, and it runs correctly. I ran Windows Defender on a complete analysis. It says that there is 1 point, he says that she deleted. I ran the MalwareBytes Anti-Malware freeware version. It is said that he found 2 registry problems and a PUPPY (probably an unwanted program). Asked to quarantine problems. Problem persists try with Firefox, ONLY. My questions are: a) why is he not appear as an add-on or extension or a service? and (b) how can I get rid of this?

  • How can I get the rear bar orange firefox option?

I've recently updated at 28, I think 19 and I hate just the new user interface.
But what I can adjust to wait the bar orange firefox which is at the top right.
Is there a setting in the options to get that back or do I have to download an add on?

The beta version of Firefox 29 has interface Australis which seems different from the UI in Firefox 28 and previous versions.
The Firefox menu button has disappeared and you have now the three Menu button at the right end of the Navigation bar on the bar.

You can install the extension Classic theme restaurateur to restore some of the features that has been lost with the arrival of the Australis code in Firefox 29.

  • How can I get the search bar on the home page of Firefox to stop mirroring of what is in the search toolbar?

This seems to be something new, but I usually use the built in the toolbar to search at the top right of my Firefox window to search eBay and I usually go to the Firefox default Home/Start for searches on Google page. Now, it seems that whenever I try to search from the home/start page, I get the results of any search engine is specified in the top search bar. So if toolbar is set to 'eBay' and I search something on the homepage, only eBay results appear.
I don't want to do. I want that the Google search home page every time, no matter what is on my search toolbar. It's really annoying to have to go to the search bar engine resume Google and then my search. I often open new tabs quickly find something relevant to what I'm working on because it requires less effort to hit Ctrl + T to open a new tab that is already on the cover with my cursor in the search field, than using the toolbar where I have to take my hands on the keyboard to use the mouse. How can I fix it. This "improvement" sucks.

I forgot an obvious solution to this problem. I just changed my homepage of "www.google.com" rather than use the default Firefox homepage. In hindsight, it makes little sense to use the default Firefox homepage as an intermediary to Google anyway.

  • How can I get the favorite folders to show up?

In my folder on the left side list, display all records. I know I can get TB to view just my "Favorites" folders by going to display. Files, but it seems I can't * be * show just the Favorites, * or * everything. I would like the display to look like Outlook for example all records, with the Favorites in a small pile at the top at the same time. Is this possible?
