  The OP's question actually has nothing to do with ObjectDock. Some Dell laptops come with an application called the "Dell Dock". Only these last few laptops Dell have and I don't know if it runs on anything else. When you download the Dell Dock, there is a warning on the download page that it only works on some Dell laptops, so you can believe Dell about this.
