  The Qosmio F30 memory can be upgraded up to 4 GB of RAM.
  In this case you would need 2 x 2 GB DDR2 667 MHz (PC2-5300) 200 - PIN SODIMM.
  Usually it s no matter what manufacturer of RAM is all the DDR2 667 MHz (PC2-5300) 200 - PIN SODIMM modules must be compatible
  But I prefer the Kingston modules I use a more long time and had good experience with it.

  The RAM slots are placed at the bottom of the unit. There is a component of slot secured with a screw. You will need to remove this screw in order to get access to the memory locations.

  All very hit and Miss. Miss Aries matching is not a good idea and miss-corresponding to the quantity (2x512MB - 2 x 1 GB) often fails. You can get lucky and the machine will start, but the RAM performance will suffer without worrying.

  What version of TestStand do you use?  I tried this in 3.5, 4.0 and 4.2 and verified that the StationID (RunState.Root.Locals.StationInfo.StationID) was able to contain a name more than 14 characters.  You use this method to access the stationID, or something else?  Also, you see this with any order, or just an individual?
