How can I install D - link DP-301 P + with Windows 7 64 bit

I have a printer HP 2100 that I would like to make available through our home network (Verizon FIOS wireless router).  I bought the D - Link DP-301 P + print server and am a frustrating time to operate.  I'm not very technical, so the useful comments on the D-Link site were Greek to me.  I need the "Print Server installation for Dummies" version...

I can't get my laptop to talk to the web interface for the PS.  I think it's a problem with the IP address, but I don't know what to do about this.  If I could figure out how to set a static IP on the laptop that will be like the print server will not the router like the cell phone more?

Someone had a very good suggestion about resetting the print server and then the router will assign a new IP address to him.  Unfortunately, I do not see a reset button on this model.

Help please...

Answering my own question, but I would like to know how I would have done it...

I found an older laptop and hooked it directly to the print server (PS).  I was able to assign the IP address of the laptop for the specific connection you could see the PS.  I was then able to access the configuration tool for the print server.  Once I put the IP for the PS to one our network saw and past the cable back on our router...   Happy Days!

I guess I could have done the same thing, without having to connect the old laptop because I end up by using the software PS Admin, but if anyone has a more elegant solution, I'd still like to hear.
