  You need a disk FULL/license to do a clean install, not an upgrade license.

  Take it back to Wal-Mart and see if you can exchange it.

  Rather than add the SP1 version for .wim files, you can get the latest ISO of Windows 7 SP1 from this link. Instructions for installing Windows 7 SP1 can be found here.

  If you really want to change the install.wim from your original installation media, it would be better to post your query on support of Windows 7 IT Pro TechNet forums .
