  I exported a virtual machine from my server ESXi 4.0.0 using ovftool for Windows, but the type of NETWORK card seems to have been changed as part of the conversion. It was VMXNET3 on the host, but ends up being VMXNET in the OVF.

  The export was made as follows...

  Is this a known issue? No work around?

  This is a known issue and is fixed in the next version of ovftool.

  A work around is to open find file OVF nic change the resourceSubType of

  
   VmxNet
  

  TO

  
   VmxNet3
  

  You must also remove the .mf file after you modify the OVF.

  For Chrome, please perform the following step:

  Open Chrome > click on the horizontal bar in the top right 3 > settings > show advanced > downloads > download location > change > navigate to the location in which you want to set > OK

  If you wish, you can check the box "Ask where to save each file before downloading" which will give you possibility to choose the location of every time.

  is the swf file to load an as3 swf?

  you have access to the loaded swf fla file?  If so, the flv file plays in an flvplayback component, or you use the netstream class?

  and, if you want a simple solution (and not recommended), you can use:

  SoundMixer.stopAll ();

  When you want to stop all sounds.  that will not stop the video to continue to download it is why the use of stopAll() is a bad solution.

  I just upgraded to ID CS5 and I'm really impressed with the improvements. Of course, however, some aspects take a few adjustments that brings me to my question. How can I specify the size of the "printed" page when you export a PDF file? Basically, in CS4 I could set up a document to have, for example a page size of 20x20cm. I could then print it in PDF format and select a page A4 format. This meant that I could get my printer to print the document of 20 x 20 irregular size on a standard paper size and include benchmarks of crop etc. In CS5, I cannot get ID to export the pages that they are configured (i.e. 20x20cm).

  I don't know I must be missing something obvious here, someone has any ideas?

  When I "met" automaitically CS4 creates a _notes on my server folder. I do not use the notes (a short explanation might help me decide if I need to use it) if prefer the file not to be made.

  You control _notes on a site-by-site basis. Open the Site Definition dialog box by selecting Site > Manage Sites. Select the name of the site and click on modify. Access the Advanced tab/button at the top of the dialog box, and then select Design Notes category. There is an option in there to download the Design notes for sharing. Deselect it.

  The _notes folder is used for a range of goals. As says the Definition of the Site dialog box, Design Notes are used for integration of Fireworks and Flash. What it does not say, is that the _notes folder is also used for synchronization of the site. If the synchronization information maintain are selected in the category remote info of the Site Definition dialog box, the _notes folder is required on both machines the and remote.
