How can I make Mozilla Firefox Start Page use Google search instead of Aol search?
A few months ago the Mozilla Firefox Start Page has suddenly started using Aol instead of Google search when I used the search bar. I don't remember if I did anything on PURPOSE or something when it happened, but on the navigation bar, my search engine is always Google... I really want to use Google instead of Aol search, and I don't want to change my home page?
Change of the topic: Home search engine to Google.
Firefox button > Web Developer-> Notepad.
Copy and paste this script into Notepad > then click on run > run
javascript:{localStorage["search-engine"]="{\"name\":\"Google\",\"searchUrl\":\"http://www.google.com/search?q=_searchTerms_&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a\"}";void(0);}

How can I make iMessage on my MAC using my phone # instead of my e-mail address
The habit of using my phone number of my iMessage on my MAC and it syncs with my phone and I could reply to all messages on the computer. Now, since I updated my apple ID, it will use only my email address. (The last time this happened, he went back, but I don't know how) How can I change using my phone #?
You need to set up the continuity of linking your Mac and your iPhone for sharing messages - continuity of use to connect your iPhone, iPod touch and Mac - Apple Support
BUT, the two devices must be connected to the same iCloud account using the same AppleID for connection. You can not link devices using different AppleIDs.

How can I change the tab Start Page for Firefox default to a tab I want

In the afternoon of August 24, I lost a feature on my Start Page of Mozilla Firefox and I can't understand how to get it back. It is the Google search box in the middle of the page. Previously, when I want to do a search, for example Amazon, I must type the letter 'A', and because I had typed "Amazon" in this area of research before, a drop down menu alphabetical would come with "Amazon" in it. I could then click on this word without having to type the rest of it. This option no longer works.
I did an update of Adobe Reader that Friday morning, so I thought that maybe why it happened. I did a system restore, and brings the system back to Tuesday, August 21. That did not help.
I ran CCleaner and cleaned the registry also. Oddly enough, I found that just after that I have this and then open a Mozilla Firefox Start Page, the alphabetical drop-down list feature is back in the center of the search for once, bar a single search. After that he went again. I'm going in and do just CCleaner (no cleaning required registry) and the same thing happens... the functionality is there for a search only.
I went and made sure all my Add-ons/Plug-ins are up-to-date. I also ran a full scan of the system, but no problem came.
I am computer illiterate, so please bear with me. I don't know if the things that I tried would have helped or not.
I have Windows 7 and Firefox 15.0.1
I appreciate any help you can provide.
It worked! I went in "Troubleshooting information" and click on "Reset Firefox" that solved the problem. Thank you very much.

3. log on to the account of the childAfter that, the child's account appears as a member of the family under the new parent account.
To block the registration page:
1. on any computer, connect on the parent account to the safety of the family home page

Whenever I run Firefox, tabs has also begin to open with the Start Page Mozilla Firefox, which is very irritating. How can I avoid this happening whenever I run the browser?
See the following for a few suggestions:
- https://support.mozilla.com/kb/How+to+set+the+home+page - Firefox supports several home pages separated by ' |' symbol
- http://KB.mozillazine.org/Preferences_not_saved
It is also possible that there is a problem with the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files in the Firefox profile folder.
Delete the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files in the Firefox profile folder.
- Help > troubleshooting information > profile directory: opens showing the file
- http://KB.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox
- http://KB.mozillazine.org/sessionstore.js
If you see files sessionstore-# .js with a number in the left part of the name as sessionstore - 1.js then delete those as well.
Delete sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and groups of tabs to get lost, so you'll have to create them again (note).See:

How can I make Mozilla my homepage until Microsoft made some updates?
When I connected to the internet, after that some Microsoft updates had been installed, I found that I had more Mozilla as a homepage. If I wanted to "Yahoo" as home page I would have clicked on the spot that says make my homepage. I use Mozilla 23.0. So, how can I get the home page I want on my computer again?
Hello JohnDevilone, if your manual changes don't "stick" after a restart of the browser, please look out for suspicious extensions (such as 3 rd-party-toolbars or of things that you have not intentionally installed) currently installed under firefox/tools > addons > extensions or section of windows control panel programs and remove these entries.
in the case, it does not resolve the issue please, try this: go to firefox > help > troubleshooting information > profile folder - "view folder", then a new window will open. in this search on a file named user.js window (it can be used to overwrite your custom settings). where it is present, delete or rename this file and then restart firefox.

IMO, topic: newtab will not give you what your want, without having to install an add-on with the features that you want to change.
For example - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/new-tab-tools/The best way to "fix", which is to define your own choices for 'your' home page.
