  I don't understand how you use 'screen' mode on a single image of fusion, but it's the effect you're trying to get (I used a blue color to show the transparent area at the bottom of the image):

  

  I used the free plugin KillWhite (http://mikes3d.com/extra/scripting-plugins/killwhite/) with your image:

  1. Convert the image to RGB.  (Image... Moye... RGB color)
  2. Duplicate the background layer (Ctrl + J).
  3. Reverse the colors on this duplicate layer (Ctrl + I), so that the black background becomes white.
  4. Used KillWhite to... Well... to kill the white on this layer.
  5. Invert the colors once again.
  6. Used improve... Lighting... Brightness/contrast and levels to darken the lapping of water.
  7. Added my flower image below the layer of water splash and raised the lower edge of the image of the flower to leave a transparent area.

I made of mesh and simulated the circuit using the Solver AXIEM. However, the result was absurd - the width of the stripes of the parameter S12 are about 100 times larger than the experimental value.   From the picture you attached, I agree that the mesh was too big to take account of combs, although I can't get a complete picture with just the image.  I recommend that you look at the grid X values and Y of the grid on the case.  They should be in the neighborhood of 20 percent of your smaller width of line as a rule.

  Based on your code above, I made the following assumptions:

  1. You have shown the code for two values of i (0 and 1) and want a similar code for the rest
  2. Two managers mouseout/mouseouthandler() in the code above is a typo, one of them is supposed to be a mouseover (according to the description at the bottom). In the solution, I will propose, I guess that one was supposed to be a manager of mouseover
  3. BM is a global variable and values range from 10, 11, 12... 10 + n - 1. Please check the code once though, I think that there is a logical problem with the closure, you create around WB in mouseout/mouseouthandler() handlers. I can't identify the intention if the proposed solution will be based on your code above.

  Another bug in the code is in the way you join managers:

  and still other managers.
