  After much research, I found the answer. Start with, rather than using a .bat file, I used the wizard of the Action to set up a script. Then, I put the script to process all the files in a given folder. I changed the folder that will contain all the files in .pdf (including attachments) that I wanted to deal with. Then, I wrote the following javascript code:

  Yes, it isn't command line as I originally wanted, but there is still work for what I need to do.
