How can I print a list of the names of files on a hard drive

I try to print the names of files on drive "C".

Hello

Use this excellent free program.

Karen - free directory printer - print the name of every file on a disk, as well as the size of the file, date and time
last modified and attributes (read-only, hidden, system and Archive)! And now, the list of files can be
Sort by name, size, date created, date last modified, or last access date.

    How can I make a DVD of the restore hidden in my external hard drive partition recovery because I want to recover my toshiba satellite L840 that does not respond directly to my hard drive so I put my laptop to an external HARD drive and then I want to copy a DVD recovery partition

    Your question is a bit confusing, you can boot the laptop at all? Have you tried booting in safe mode, you can make a recovery DVD set from there, the folder Toshiba.

    With the drive in the Toshiba, you should be able to use a F, F10, F11, or F12 key to activate the installation from the partition hidden started upward.

    Otherwise, you can contact Toshiba, and with the model of the product id number and the laptop for Windows, you can buy a set of disks.

  • How can I print a list of all my music files in Windows Media Player 11?

    I use windows vista home premium service pack 2.  I tried to download exporter of news media (mpexp.dll) and I get a message saying that I need to be logged on as administrator to perform this operation, however, I am logged on as administrator.  In addition, I can't download the pleasures of winter to windows media player 9 series pack 2003.

    Hello greenheron,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Answers Forum!

    You can try export playlist of media information by an application word by following the steps in the link below:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/KnowledgeCenter/HOWTO/mediainfoexp.aspx

    We inform you that you will install Media exporter info. This exporter is basically designed for Media Player 9 and would work for Media player 11.

    The process is a little different:

    Follow this workaround solution to install the exporter of media:

    Step 1 - Download and install Media exporter Info

    You can try to run the program in compatibility mode for Windows XP.

    Make older programs in this version of Windows

    http://windowshelp.Microsoft.com/Windows/en-us/help/bf416877-c83f-4476-a3da-8ec98dcf5f101033.mspx

    Step 2 - use of the exporter to export of information media

    Open Windows Media Player.  A small Media exporter Info window must already be open.  If not, you can open it manually: on the Tools menu, go to plugins and choose the exporter of News Media.  If you do not see the Tools menu initially, just right click somewhere on the blue bar dark near the top of your window of WMP.

    1. Click Properties to select where the file is saved and what application to load it in.  Will the file be formatted differently depending on the application you choose, but Excel is the best option if you want to clean it to show only the artist/album names (see below).
    2. Click Export.   The file will be exported, but it will contain much more than just artist names and album information.  The next step shows how to clean it.

    Step 3 (optional) - clean the list exported in Excel

    1. Delete all columns except for artist and Album (columns B and C) by default.
    2. Select the two remaining columns.
    3. In the tab menu or data, choose the function remove duplicates.
    4. Check the my data has headers check box, and then click OK.
    5. That's all.  Now you should have a clean list of albums as well as the names of their artists.  You can print this list directly or export it to Word and format more far away to make it prettier.

    You can also try running the program as administrator.

    To run a program as an administrator, follow these steps:

    1. right click on the icon that you use to run the program and then click run as administrator.

    2 when you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or click continue.

    Try this and get back to us if it does not work.

  • Hello. How can I pass a variable as the name of file in writeStringToFile.

    When I try to pass a variable as writeStringToFile it is ignored.

    For example:

    getVariables () .set ("ts", "{{@today (YYYYMMddHHmmss)}}", Variables.Scope.GLOBAL);

    Path String = "C:\\OracleATS\\OFT\\Databank\\";

    String file = "test .csv {{ts}}";

    String completedOrders = path + file;

    Info (completedOrders);

    utilities.getFileService (.writeStringToFile) (file, "CreatedDate, customer, iteration, OrderNumber" + "\n");

    In the previous case.

    a. the console returns the correct file name: C:\OracleATS\OFT\Databank\test20151005133343.csv

    b. the file system will not be: test .csv {{ts}}

    Thank you for taking the time to consider the issue. I found another way to achieve this. It must be as follows:

    Import:

    import java.util.Date;

    import impossible;

    Format of date as follows:

    Path String = "C:\\OracleATS\\OFT\\Databank\\";

    String file = new SimpleDateFormat("'scriptOut_'YYYYMMddHHmmss'.csv'").format (new Date());

    String completedOrders = path + file;

    Info (completedOrders);

    utilities.getFileService () .writeStringToFile (completedOrders, 'CreatedDate, customer, iteration, OrderNumber "+" \n");

    Hey thanks adeline B... I must admit that I was looking for just a much more efficient and faster way to do it. After watching the file names on my account, I realized that they had to be typed in a more secular term. (book printing for drunks to read in a karaoke bar should be as brief as possible! haha) I figure out how transfer fair them but the way in which the reading had to be modified, so I decided that it was just as easy to type all that in an Excel document Fortunately, I did books a few years ago so I had to add more than about 7000 titles! After following suggestions of links, I was able to make a list for my own records. Thanks again for you help!

    Meg Staton,

    The leak-you don't need to use. However, I see that you have typed the "BOLD" section but you haven't typed the entire order? dir/a/b (space) c:\users\meg\pictures\ancestrydocs\ (space) > c:\users\meg\pictures\ancestrydocs\list.txt (space)

    I used (space) instead of a real space for clarification.

    The part of the order before > basically Gets the list of the names of files that are included in the ancestrydocs folder and the part of the order after the > creates a text file list.txt names in this directory with the names of the files.

    Hello!

    It is a way to print a reading list:
    Open Notepad.
    Open Windows Media Player and right click of your saved playlist. Choose the open path.  In the left click your saved plays new window list and drag it into the opened Notepad window.

    Hello

    You can drag and drop playlist in Notepad or any other text editor. See: http://www.wikihow.com/Save-a-Printable-List-of-Your-Songs-in-Windows-Media-Player

    Personally, I find it not very convenient, it's too much editing involved for my taste.
