How can I recover all my files that I lost in an accident? I had to use my system recovery disk and install drivers for my computer again. I lost all my files. Is there something I can do?
Help! How can I recover all my files that I lost? I was answering an e-mail message when I heard a couple of clicks then my computer off.
I thought that my computer was destroyed. Nothing I tried would bring it to the top, so I decided to use the system recovery disc that
came with my computer. I've also downloaded all the drivers for the application. My computer is back on, but I lost everything.
It's like putting into service with a new computer. I had a lot of important information in the files that I lost. I've tried everything I know to do
without success. Is it still possible to recover these lost files? Thank you very much for your help!
Hello
I'm sorry, but when you did the recovery of the system you have disabled your hard drive of everything, including your files.
You now have a new computer.
You can try this program (it's free) to see if he 'can' find and recover your files. no guarantee:

See you soon.

My computer crashed while updating. It's a double 4 year old HP desktop processor. I could get into the repair screen, but nothing would be useful. I backed up data (115 GB) using the tools available on a drive hard usb. They are under the folder MINWIN and meet 31 different files. All I get is the demand to put in the disc. I copied the last file on DVD, but it will not read it. All other recovery programs say there is no backup file.
I have backup, with an extension of FBW 32 filesHelpHello
1. are you able to boot to the desktop now?
2 have you tried to reinstall the operating system?
3. what program did you use to create a backup?
4. do you get an error code or error message?According toOberwald, it seems that fbw files are generated by HP, not Vista backup tool. I suggest you to read the following article to restore files from Microsoft.
Backup and restore: frequently asked questions:
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/back-up-and-restore-frequently-asked-questionsIf you are not able to boot to the desktop, then I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.
Method 1:
Start in safe mode and then try to run the restoration of the system to a point before you install the update and check if the problem persists.
Step 1: Start in SafeMode in Windows 7:
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-modeStep 2: System Restore:
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/products/features/system-restore
Method 2:
If you used a third-party program, and then try to restore using the same program and check that it works.
Also check the FAQ from HP or post the question on a forum of HP.
Hope the information is useful.

Satellite P105-S6197: how to use the system recovery disk
Greetings,
I have a P105-S6197 and I followed the instructions on the recovery disk,
1. Insert the disk or disk #1 in the drive.
2. turn on your computer while holding down the button 'C' (release key 'C' when the display shows "Toshiba")but these instructions do not work the computer starts just to the top normally and do never runs the disk.
Is there another way to get the disc to run so that I can completely reformat my computer to the way it was when it was first purchased.
Thanks, Edana
I can provide the same information as codes for:
There are different options to allow booting from the CD/DVD drive.
One is the C key (you have to press several times) immediately after that the laptop has been powered.
The second possibility could be the F12 key.
It would start on the screen menu and then you may choose the CD/DVD drive as a boot device.Last but not least, you can change the boot order in the BIOS.
The reader of CD/DVD (ODD) in the first place and the gaming laptop should boot from the inserted CD, bootable automatically.Concerning

Recently I had to reformat my hard drive. I lost my system recovery disks, but was able to install Windows Vista Business Edition. My laptop started on the desktop, but none of my network/drivers cards work. Device Manager is showing many errors.
What is the minimum operating system is fully supported on this computer and how do I do to get the new system recovery disks.
Thanks for any help.

Hello
VPCEB490X comes with the Windows 7 operating system. The drivers for Windows Vista are not available for download. It is necessary to install all compatible drivers on the computer.
Drivers available for the computer are listed in the following link:

I have a laptop HP HDX 18 that had 64-bit Windows Vista installed, with a Vista recovery on his C drive Partition. Since then, I installed clean 64-bit Windows 7 Professional of his Microsoft licensed DVD, that I still have. I kept with all (200 +) of Windows updates.
Now, I want to create a system (Flash drive) for this laptop recovery disk, but my concern is that he will lead the recovery in its Partition Vista original, installed at the factory. If I use W7 administration tools installed to create a system recovery disc, it will recover the old Windows Vista or Windows 7? In addition, it would be nice to have a system recovery disk that had the latest W7.
I'm not looking to install the drive link below; However, I prefer the system recovery disk to restore my laptop to its W7 system most recently updated, rather than start over.
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/installing-reinstalling-Windows#1TC=Windows-7
What choices do I have? Where can I find the appropriate instructions?
Thank you very much for your help!

I bought a bunch of desktop computers that came with XP Professional with IBM. I ordered the reinstallation disc, but it worked on one of my computers. Can I get a professional XP disk and install the OS on each individually (they have all their key codes), or do I have to find another way? I don't have the money to buy the recovery for each computer disk.IBM ThinkCentre
Pentium 4 3.0ghz
512 MB of ramhard drive 40 GBXP ProfessionalAs long as the disc you are using is the exact same OEM disc that would be provided by IBM that would work on these computers. It cannot be a copy in the Windows retail.

I bought adobe cc of my student account and installed. Then my computer broke down and I bought a new one. Do not know how to install cc on the new computer. The redemption code cannot be used and the campus web allow me to make another payment within 1 year in term aid.
I'll appreciate any help!
The Adobe ID here in the forums have no CC registered to it, you can activate the CC to your Adobe ID twice. in case you have activated it twice, you have to disable among the previous machine or the third machine will give you the ability to disable from all the previous machine.

OK... so I gave a computer to a family I have mentor and with all the kids messing around on it and downloading things... they had so much virus they had to completely erase the hard drive and reinstall everything.
Well, here's the problem... the recovery disks that they contained IE6. They have At & t DSL... and it won't work with nothing less than IE7. The recovery disks also had SP1 for XP. So... they can't get online because they have IE6... they cannot install IE7 because they do not have SP2 or SP3. They can do an update on their packaging of service because they can get online.
So what I do is download all the software needed and get there and installation from disc. I downloaded IE7... but I can't find where to download the SP2 or SP3... everywhere I go they tell me to do the update... but I'm not doing it on this computer... I do it to their computer. So I don't know how I can download it and install it on their computer if they did not have access to the internet.
Oh... another question... can I download SP2 and SP3... or not to download the SP3 give me the more updated and SP2 file is not necessary?
S
You can either download the SP3 .exe (first link) to a USB or download SP3 .iso (second link) to create the fancy CD:
(For the latter, you must use the appropriate software - like imgburn - to burn the CD.)
SP2 is not necessary. You can go directly from SP1 SP3.
Make sure that you upgrade to SP3 before you upgrade from IE6 to IE7.
