Current view | Show all messages and delete something there.  Then check that your antivirus software does not scan e-mail (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3).  Then delete your account e-mail, then compact and repair the database of WinMail (www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/) and then add your account mail back once again and see if that fixes it.  Winmail opener has a peculiarity that he sometimes loses the logon credentials and to delete the account and add it again back to fix it.

  You should be able to view the properties bar (cmd + E), select the annotation of measure and change the line with setting. If you click on the button 'More', you will be able to select the checkbox 'Use default properties' so any new measure you will have these new settings.
