  It had nothing to do with the proxy settings, it was actually a software called "Panda Security. I hate programs like this.

  Once you have added a sticky note, right-click and choose Properties from the context menu. Click the general tab and enter the new name in the author text box.

  If you want all future sticky notes to bear this name, select use the default properties and then click OK.

  (1) you can uninstall all Console Java extensions in the Firefox Extensions list, because this extension is obsolete and has no function.
