    In Media Center Chess Titans, how can I remove the 3 Menu buttons up (game vs man, play Vs computer, exit) while I'm playing?

    While I play Chess Titans (Media Center Version, full screen), there are 3 buttons on the top while I play (game vs man, play Vs computer, exit).  These buttons are boring because there is no need of them.  Make a right click on the screen offers these options.  In addition, when you regularly play Chess Titans (not the Version of Media Center and windowed screen), these 3 buttons do not exist.

  • How can I remove the bookmarks that are no longer used.

    I have a list of bookmarks on firefox. Many are more used.
    How can I remove the individual bookmarls of my list.
    Tried to highlight and delete them, but that does not work...

    You can right click and delete, select and use the key "Delete", or remove
    multiple bookmark click to the left of the favorite icon, and then add more with "Ctrl + click"
    or spread with "Shift + click" then delete.

    You can remove bookmarks as described for the deletion of history in

    http://KB.mozillazine.org/Viewing_the_browsing_history_-_Firefox#Selecting_history_items

    The reference to bookmarks won't in the details, because it is in the article above.

    http://KB.mozillazine.org/Sorting_and_rearranging_bookmarks_-_Firefox

    You will be perhaps easier to delete bookmarks you don't want in the list of the bookmarks library. As noted in the article to bookmark sorting you can view and sort by additional columns, I recommend installing the extension "Show Parent Folder" link is in the article to bookmark, unfortunately that you can add the column is not sortable, but it provides valuable information.

  • How can I remove the 'bookmarks' taking place in the bookmarks toolbar?

    I love the bookmarks toolbar, and I filled it with really useful bookmarks. Of course, I have still a long list of bookmarks that are accessible from the bookmarks menu, but those I love are in the bookmarks toolbar.

    Firefox 6a stolen space between the right side of the toolbar of bookmarks for a menu button drop-down. This button is completely, 100% redundant with the existing bookmarks menu. Maybe someone will like it, but I need to know how to remove the toolbar of bookmarks.

    Customize won't do not, even by adding another bookmarks button in the Navigation toolbar will not make it go away. It ' took the space of three bookmarks I want. What is the setting I need to change to nuke this feature anti?

    See:

    You can remove the button from Menu bookmarks on the bookmarks with code toolbar in userChrome.css

  • How can I remove the bookmarks on the left side panel and put it back on the bar?

    I'm not used to the favourites being in a Panel on the left or right side of the window of FF. I use tabs for the places I visit and use Roboform to complete registration for a particular website of my choice. All the bookmarks that I desire in Roboform and rarely use FF bookmarks.
    Firefox is a wonderful tool and I use it exclusively, but sometimes they invented something that is detrimental to the way one uses to work. Personally, I don't like their ad to bookmarks where the update has placed.

    You can close the bookmarks bar via its close X or the shortcut Ctrl + B key.

    Make sure the toolbars as the 'personal bar' are visible.

    • button '3-bar' menu > customize > show/hide toolbars
    • View > toolbars
      You can press the ALT key, or press F10 to display the Menu bar
    • Right click on empty toolbar space

    Open the Customize and set the toolbar to display items.

    • button '3-bar' menu > customize
    • Make sure the "bookmarks toolbar items" are on the personal bar

  • How can I remove the bookmarks section search (left side of the window when open)? Just search in bookmarks.

    I don't know if it was always there, but there is now a search box at the top of my bookmarks toolbar that opens on the left side of my window. When the bookmarks toolbar is open the first thing is to bookmarks and the X to close the bookmarks. Just below that is a search box. I don't have a lot of bookmarks and don't want the search box. How can I get rid of the search box?

    Add code to the file userChrome.css below default @namespace.

    The file userChrome.css (UI) customization and userContent.css (Web sites) are located in the chrome folder in the Firefox profile folder.

    @namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */

    #bookmarksPanel #sidebar-search-container {
     display:none!important;
    }

    (this leaves still the search bar for the history sidebar; #history - #sidebar panel - search - container)

  • How can I remove the bookmark most visited tab?

    I want to delete the bookmark most visited tab

    • "Most Visited" and "Recently set bookmark" and "Recent Tags" are examples of what is called Smart Bookmarks folders and are not the real existing folders.
    • These smart folders show a list created by a query of the places.sqlite database that stores the history and bookmarks in Firefox.
    • Smart folder lists show a maximum of 10 entries by default.
    • Bookmarks or history items that appear in a list of smart folder are also stored in another file, and any changes are applied to the element of bookmark or true story.
    • If you delete an entry then the list is shifted upward and an entry that was not previously identified is added to show the 10 entries.
    • If you add a new bookmark or visit a Web site, then a new element is added at the top and disappears from the entrance at the bottom of this list.
  • How can I remove the bookmarks bar favicons?

    I've just updated to Firefox 29... and it disabled an add-on, I am using for some time (deiconizer bookmarks). Is there a way to remove ugly and unnecessary favicons in my bookmarks toolbar in order to make more room for real and functional bookmarks?

    You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder currently in use:

    • Help > troubleshooting information > profile directory: see file (Linux: open the directory;) Mac: View in the Finder)
    • Create the folder chrome (lowercase) in the .default < xxxxxxxx > profile folder if the folder does not exist.
    • Use a text editor such as Notepad to create a userChrome.css (new) file in this folder (the names are case-sensitive).
    • Paste the code in the userChrome.css file in the Editor window and make sure that the userChrome.css file starts with the default @namespace line.
    • Make sure that you select "All files" and not "text files" when you save the file via "save file as" in the text editor as userChrome.css.

    Otherwise, Windows can add a hidden .txt file extension, and you end up with a file not work userChrome.css.txt or userContent.css.txt.
